Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton Chapter 1964 - 1525: Has the God Star Disappeared?
Gez Fortress described a highly possible outco, leaving the Star Mover silent for a long mont. After a while, he finally said, "This is sothing that could very well happen. I have been asleep for a long, long ti. To slow down the loss of energy, I sealed myself. Those companions of mine who weren’t sealed have surely partially perished."
The Star Mover paused here, then continued, "But the heritage of the Star Movers can be passed on. When they feel they’ve aged, they search for the next Dark Star to pass their abilities onto, so the total number of Star Movers fluctuates around a certain value."
"According to your information, if there was danger outside but no Divine Star entered the Land of the Infinity through the Star Movers, they might truly all be dead," said the Star Mover.
Gez Fortress’s emotions soared and plumted. Just having rejoiced at another potential way to leave the Endless Cage, he quickly realized this path was a dead end.
Unwilling, he said, "Maybe those Dark Stars are just spreading false rumors. The outside world might not be dangerous, or perhaps the danger is only to Dark Stars, not to Divine Stars. It might just be that one branch is dangerous while others are fine."
Gez Fortress hoped fervently that the Dark Stars were either lying or exaggerating the facts. Ever since reaching the energy level limit, he had been trying to break the cage. Now soone was telling him the cage was the safest place, that the outside was dangerous.
Had all his previous efforts been in vain?
Gez Fortress was unwilling to accept this; he hoped the news was false.
"Let’s go catch those Dark Stars and find out what’s really happening." The Star Mover summoned his avatar and urged Gez Fortress to lead the way.
There was no need to lead the way. The teleportation channel established by the Dark Stars emitted clear ripples in the Void, and soon they followed the trail of ripples to find them.
Three Dark Stars were quietly hiding in a part of the Void, warily observing their surroundings. They had been frightened by the Star Mover earlier and didn’t dare to move recklessly. Who knew if they’d bump into another Divine Star, shrouded in a hard shell, pitch-black in the Void?
Wasn’t there supposed to be only one Divine Star in this part of the Void? How did another one suddenly appear?
After hiding for a while and noticing no movent, they were contemplating leaving when the Star Mover showed up.
These Dark Stars were all in avatar form, with strength comparable to the current Gez Fortress. They couldn’t possibly contend with the Star Mover’s avatar. In a scuffle between the avatars of the Star Mover and Gez Fortress, the Star Mover’s true form arrived, ending the need for a fight.
"Have you ever heard of the Star Movers outside?" The Star Mover’s thoughts locked onto the Dark Stars, asking word by word.
"Star Movers?" The three Dark Stars murmured the na, their thoughts trying to look at their companions, but found that they were isolated, unable to see the other two companions and thus unable to communicate.
So the Star Mover also knows how to isolate interrogations?
Unable to exchange information, two of the Dark Stars claid they hadn’t heard of it, while only the third said, "I have heard the na, but it’s been a long ti since I’ve heard any news of them."
"A long ti? Were they wiped out or disbanded?" the Star Mover asked urgently.
"I don’t know, I’ve just never heard the na again afterward, nor do I know what happened to them," the Dark Star replied.
The Star Mover knew the other was not lying. He understood the outside world better, and for these Dark Stars, just being clear about their own branch’s situation is already quite good. Many pieces of information are heard from other Divine Stars of the branch, and often a na is heard once, then never again.
However, such a powerful team as the Star Movers, this Dark Star hadn’t heard of again, perhaps truly indicates a dire fate.
"You said there are two terrifying existences outside hunting Divine Stars, correct? Do you know who they are?" the Star Mover asked.
The Dark Star said, "I only know one is called the Ti-Space Ancient Dragon, I’m not clear about the other."
"You’re not even clear about their nas, so why do you find them terrifying?" the Star Mover asked.
The Dark Star involuntarily shivered and said, "I heard that a powerful wave spread across several branches, carrying fragnts of the Imprints of over ten Divine Stars or Dark Stars. We later communicated with Divine Stars from other branches, and they also heard it, though the Imprint fragnts varied."
"Re... really?" The Star Mover’s voice trembled uncontrollably. If it’s truly as the Dark Star described, then whoever caused all this is terrifying.
Over ten Divine Stars destroyed simultaneously, the wave reaching several branches, and the Imprint fragnts varied? Doesn’t that an more than ten Divine Stars were shattered, adding in those from other branches?
Exactly how many Divine Stars were destroyed? What is it that could be so terrifying?
Claiming the na of Star Mover but being actually just a Dark Star, the main form inferior to Gez Fortress, but even Gez Fortress, self-detonating, couldn’t destroy over ten Divine Stars, much less let the wave spread across several branches.
Following repeated inquiries, the other two Dark Stars gave the sa answer. Although they hadn’t heard of the Star Movers’ na, they distinctly felt the wave, even naming it "Star’s Wail."
"By the way, the Lord of the Divine Star can also create such a wave," said the Dark Stars.
Hearing the na Lord of the Divine Star, an image of Ange suddenly flashed through the Star Mover’s mind, as though the na had been linked with Ange in his heart.
"What wave? Star’s Wail? That Ange can also do this?" Gez Fortress asked in shock.
Isn’t this a wave strong enough to destroy over ten Divine Stars? How could Ange do it?
The Dark Stars also smiled wryly and said, "We don’t know either. We call that wave Star’s Wail. Its characteristic is to amplify all waves. When we sensed that wave, we also perceived its characteristic and found fragnts of over ten Divine Stars’ Imprints within it. Then, here, we discovered another person who can release similar waves. The waves he releases also amplify everything, but whether it’s Star’s Wail, we’re not sure."
Although the Dark Star couldn’t be sure, this added to the credibility. In the Void, many waves are unclear; the further the distance, the more the waves distort, so ’not sure’ is normal, while being ’very sure’ would be abnormal.
"I’ll go ask that Divine Star... Ange, and you co with ." The Star Mover instinctively said Lord of the Divine Star, but quickly realized Ange couldn’t be the Lord of the Divine Star. But why, whenever he ntioned Lord of the Divine Star, did he think of him? Strange.
Puzzled, the Star Mover turned towards the Little Fireman Divine Star’s direction, soon exclaiming, "Divine Star? The Divine Star is gone?"
