’Not many’ is relative to a frugal (destitute and poor) monarch. Would he have looked at this bit of Chaos Mist when he was on the Chaos Plane?

But after arriving in this world, he was so poor that he had to ’sift’ the Chaos Mist in the Boundless Space Hole. Now that he’s in such a rich state, it’s naturally quite a lot.

However, King Fei Lie has been here for hundreds of thousands of years. He wouldn’t look twice at these scattered bits of Chaos Mist, or he would have collected them a long ti ago.

Of course, it might also be that he couldn’t find a good way to collect it; after all, extracting Chaos Mist on a large scale isn’t an easy task.

This problem doesn’t stump Ange, and it’s even his favorite thod.

First, gather so soil impurities together. Ange pulled with his hands, and a Devouring Abyss appeared, causing massive amounts of nearby material to quickly pour into the abyss.

Before long, a large chunk of the ruins cleared away, as if sothing had taken a bite out, and a rock sphere with a diater of forty to fifty ters erged at the center.

The rock sphere was very round and solid, as if it had been smashed by a Dwarf’s Super Gold Hamr.

Ange took out a seed, tossed it onto the rock sphere, then watered it, and counted one, two, three, four, five.

Five or six seconds later, the seed began to sprout, with a Little Sapling erging from the top, waving its True Leaves: Grow—harder—grow—harder—

The seed quickly grew into a Tree Herder. It waved its hands at the Little Sapling and then began to twist around the rock sphere, as if familiarizing itself with the environnt.

Seeing its actions, Negris noticed sothing was off: "No, this is not an ordinary Tree Herder, its movents are too agile. What new thing are you hiding from us again?"

Ange tilted his head: "Void Tree Shepherd, Mort, and Trent’s child."

"Oh, no wonder. You paired Mort and Trent?" Negris realized.

In such a Void environnt, even World Tree saplings can’t survive; a Void Tree is needed. But a Void Tree has to be upgraded from a World Tree. Ange has planted World Trees in almost every plane of this world, yet none have been able to evolve into a Void Tree.

If there were a Void Tree extending a root here, it could directly grow branches through the air.

Without a Void Tree, the Little Sapling can’t handle this task, so other solutions must be considered.

Mort was sent by the Ancient Man Snake, but it was actually the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms, the child of the Little Tree Man. It thought it was following the orders of the God of Tree, not realizing the God of Tree was parasitized.

The Little Tree Man sent over so pheromones, and Mort imdiately pledged loyalty. Mort had agile movents and formidable combat power, leaning towards being a combat-oriented Void Treeman.

Trent was a Tree Shepherd Elf from the Chaos Plane, possessing the ability to shepherd plants. The Void Treen born from their pairing have agile movents, strong combat power, and powerful plant shepherding abilities, making them very suitable Void Tree Shepherds for such environnts.

The Void Tree Shepherd circled the rock sphere once, familiarizing itself with the surroundings, recognizing it was not a place suitable for plant growth.

Returning to the starting point, the Void Tree Shepherd spread its roots beneath it, then thrust them down forcefully.

So roots plunged into the rock sphere, stabilizing its body and spreading over the entire rock sphere, eventually covering the whole surface of the rock sphere.

This rock sphere, having been pressed by the Devouring Abyss, seed sturdy, yet couldn’t resist the roots of the Void Tree Shepherd. Not only the rock sphere, but even space couldn’t resist, with so roots penetrating space, who knows where they reached.

After a while, the Void Tree Shepherd suddenly arched its body, the entire trunk bending as if applying force, causing the rock sphere to begin a slight tremor.

The trembling grew stronger, and soon, the rock sphere started to move slowly.

The movent was so slight that Negris initially didn’t notice it, but upon seeing Ange’s head tilt, he quickly shared Ange’s perspective and saw that the rock sphere was indeed moving.

"Zero point zero two ters per second? Two centiters? That’s too slow, isn’t it? Zero point zero two two, zero point zero two four... it’s accelerating." Negris marveled.

The rock sphere slowly picked up speed, and before long, water began seeping from between the Void Tree Shepherd’s roots. Initially, it was just a faint mist that only ford a layer of frost around the roots, but the water amount gradually increased, forming rings of ice flowers around the Tree Shepherd.

"So much water? Where did the water co from?" Negris asked in shock.

"Maybe the roots reached a watery area and absorbed it," Negris suggested.

"Unfortunately, the temperature is too low, and it turns to ice instantly. If it remained liquid, Ange could cultivate without soil," Negris lanted.

No sooner had these words been spoken than a light flashed nearby. Turning his head, he saw the Gray Divine Star raising a finger, with a Star Fla at its tip: "Need so heat? I specialize in heating. If needed, the rock sphere can be liquid."

"Uh, no need, such a small matter can be handled by the Void Treeman. Otherwise, it wouldn’t qualify as a Void Treeman," Negris replied.

Ange nurtured this kind of treeman not to have it work in comfortable environnts; otherwise, he would use his many Tree Herders, and there would be no need to cultivate a new species.

The Void-level Tree Shepherd was ant to adapt to the harsh conditions of the void, to shepherd higher-grade crops. If it couldn’t even solve such issues, it would have to be discarded back into the plane.

"And you, why aren’t you with the Old Immortal?" Negris curiously changed the subject.

The Gray Divine Star tucked away the Star Fla and shrugged: "I’m just an avatar. Am I foolish to plunge into a Consciousness Cage?"

Moreover, the Gray Divine Star had suffered from the Abyss Bridge, and now, it avoided anything that constrained consciousness.

"Good point. Huh, aren’t those ice blocks clean? Why are there so many dirty things on them?" Negris suddenly noticed a new detail: the ice rings around the Tree Shepherd were littered with various dust and rocks, making the clean ice blocks filthy.

Soon they understood: the rock sphere was moving and gathering all nearby debris. Though it was just a rock sphere with a fifty or sixty ter diater, it was still the largest mass in this piece of void, capable of attracting significant amounts of dust, rocks, soil, gas, and ice blocks.

Soon, a thin layer accumulated on the rock sphere’s surface. As it drifted onward, it amassed more and more material, gradually turning the fifty or sixty ter diater rock sphere into a seventy, eighty, ninety... ter diater mixture of ice and mud.

When the ice-mud layer reached a certain thickness, the roots of the Void Tree Shepherd, already spread wide, twisted vigorously, creating a space between the ice-mud layer and the rock layer. As the ice lted and was absorbed by the Tree Shepherd’s roots, what remained was a thick layer of soil.

"Good heavens, using an ice layer to seal space and maintain a stable environnt, then using gathered dust and debris as a substrate, Ange, you can start planting now," Negris couldn’t help but praise.

If Ange operated it himself, such results wouldn’t be surprising, but a newly grown Tree Shepherd accomplishing this was astonishing. With a few more Tree Shepherds like this, wouldn’t the entire void be Ange’s farmland?

Ange entered the space beneath the ice layer and scattered seeds of the Tree of the Dead.
