Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton Chapter 1802: 1363: It Blasted Me from Hundreds of Kilometer
Chapter 1802: Chapter 1363: It Blasted from Hundreds of Kiloters Away
Ange gathered everyone except Big Mouth, perford a Soul Shift, and in the split second before his soul transitioned, a tallic hand with a gleaming sheen pierced up through the earth’s crust. The strata, which even four Star Gods plus a Devouring Abyss precursor couldn’t breach, was effortlessly penetrated by this hand.
Ange perford a Soul Shift, manifesting himself at a position three hundred thousand kiloters from the Abyss Core. Yet as soon as he ford a physical shape, Ange felt that the intent was still locking onto him.
Ange turned his head in confusion, pondering that a distance of three hundred thousand kiloters is neither too far nor too close. With such a radius, a vast area could be defined. No matter how swiftly the opponent could react, it shouldn’t be possible to lock onto him in an instant, unless their intent had continuously been fixing on him without interruption by the Soul Shift.
Traversing three hundred thousand kiloters, Ange collided with the other’s intent.
This emaciated human zombie tilted its head expressionlessly, and all the starlight in its illustrious pupils suddenly began to spin.
Ange imdiately felt a trendous suction from its pupils, seemingly trying to pull Ange’s consciousness inward.
Abyss Bridge? Could these pupils possibly generate the effect of an Abyss Bridge? Ange found himself subconsciously tilting his head, reining back his intent.
It wasn’t the Abyss Bridge. Ange easily retracted his intent, but just as he did, he realized sothing was wrong—his intent seed to have a “weight” to it, as if sothing else was following along with it.
Without a word, Ange dispersed his intent and continued to perform a Soul Shift.
“Dispersing one’s intent” is a peculiar maneuver, akin to dispersing one’s vision—it sounds quite abnormal.
But Ange managed it. For the Void Origin, which constantly divides its focus every mont with dozens of avatars, it wasn’t an exceptionally difficult task.
Once the intent was dispersed, an “object” imdiately lost its support and fell several kiloters away from Ange and the others. It was a humanoid phantom, unmistakably the intent manifestation of that human zombie.
Ange reacted quickly, not allowing the apparition to rush towards him, as it had already prepared to attack.
Realizing it had been cast aside, the consciousness phantom imdiately assud a striding posture. In the next instant, a second consciousness phantom crossed the void and layered onto it, followed by a third, fourth, fifth…
Each consciousness phantom carried part of the physical entity with it, and as more consciousness phantoms overlapped one another, this human zombie began assembling parts of a body like a jigsaw puzzle.
Is this possible? Ange felt a sudden sense of novelty and gathered everyone to perform another Soul Shift.
Although this thod of using consciousness phantoms to piece together bodily components could allow the body to traverse vast distances rapidly, its setup was too lengthy to be suitable against Ange.
Being locked onto by intent across three hundred thousand kiloters, what about a million kiloters? Three million? Five million?
Ange perford several Star Shifts, ultimately shaking off the human zombie’s intent lock at a distance of twenty million kiloters.
After escaping, Ange Star Shifted back to a position several million kiloters away from the human zombie. At this distance, Ange could weigh its changes through the Libra Halo, while making it difficult for the opponent to detect him.
Reaching this distance, and waiting for a while without detecting the human zombie’s intent locking onto him again, it ant that once locked, a distance of twenty million kiloters was needed to shake it off. Yet, once evaded, it couldn’t detect him anymore from several million kiloters away.
A dizzying series of Star Shifts left Negris finally unable to bear it and asked, “Ange, what are you doing? Why are you running back and forth? What just happened?”
Negris and Anthony couldn’t even see what transpired earlier, much less comprehend the imnse danger that unfolded in those few monts.
Ange gave a tired explanation, and only then did they gasp, “That zombie used consciousness phantoms to deliver its body remotely? Is that even possible? Its body was sent piece by piece, wouldn’t that turn it into scraps?”
“Even if it’s turned into scraps, it doesn’t matter. A zombie won’t die even if it’s cut into pieces. The key is assembling it after delivery while retaining its original power. That’s a genuinely good concept,” Anthony said.
“It also locked onto you with its intent, using your intent as a guide to pull its consciousness forward? This…this is essentially using you as an anchor point, isn’t it? From now on, when battling it, you can’t lock onto it with intent, or it’ll cling to you like enchanted glue,” Negris remarked.
As they conversed, they pieced together the entire battle earlier and raised a burning question, “Who is it? Is it really King Fei Lie? Did it escape Your Majesty’s pursuit?”
Although each entity’s aura is distinctly different, this projected intent, unless deliberately amplifying its aura, can easily be overshadowed by the body’s own fluctuations. Thus, they couldn’t confirm whether what projected into this Star Zombie’s body was actually King Fei Lie.
King Fei Lie is the Star Skeleton, so why would there be a zombie buried within his territory? They are entirely different species, using different skills. The zombie’s abilities, such as remote intent lock, intent anchoring, and carrying entities through consciousness phantoms, were never witnessed in King Fei Lie.
If it’s not King Fei Lie, then the issue becos even more serious.
At this mont, Ange suddenly tilted his head slightly, looking towards the direction of the Abyss Core.
Negris and Anthony hurriedly shared his vision.
In the void, a very tiny point was dropping toward the Abyss Core. Along its path, the field, space, and everything around the Abyss Core exhibited slight distortions, clearly marking its position.
So, even though the point couldn’t be seen with the naked eye across millions of kiloters, the distortions in the field and space still marked its presence.
Negris couldn’t help but exclaim, “The Libra Halo is truly useful; when it can weigh space and field forces, every entity affecting those will be unable to escape its asurent.”
The point, representing the Star Zombie, returned to the Abyss Core. Soon, a burst of brilliant energy erupted, and Ange stated, “Big Mouth has exploded.”
“Alas, poor Big Mouth. We summoned it intending to give it a new core, but inadvertently hard it, and it couldn’t be helped; your Soul Shift couldn’t carry it. May it rest in peace,” Negris sighed mournfully.
Ange’s Star Shift and Soul Shift could only transfer virtualized Star Gods or non-stable energy forms like Little Ghost and Kram, with Little Sapling being considerably special.
At this mont, Big Mouth was in a stable pre-Abyssal form, aning that to maintain this state, it must remain stable. Once its energy structure collapsed, its form would crumble, thus it couldn’t be virtualized for Ange to carry.
Just as Negris finished expressing sorrow, Ange opened his hand, conjuring a fla of Soul Fire: “Saved a soul.”
As soon as the Soul Fire manifested, Big Mouth’s voice eagerly piped up: “It was terrifying! It locked onto while being hundreds of kiloters away, then swung a fist, and I exploded! Sothing hundreds of kiloters away punched through .”
