Chapter 1726: Chapter 1287: Divide, Half

“God Stars can fall too? What a joke! They’re not like you artificial spirits, how could they possibly fall?” Negris couldn’t help but retort.

Holy Spirits are artificial spiritual bodies, created by the Gods of Light as weapons of war. Only Supre Holy Spirits like Luna have independent consciousness; the rest are re tools, stubbornly persisting even in the face of insurmountable natural phenona until they perish.

The reason they fall is that they are embodints of Faith Elental Force. When faith becos tainted, so does the power. But God Stars are the most original existence in the void. How could they possibly beco tainted?

Isn’t it absurd, like saying salt could go moldy?

Luna answered, “Originally, they couldn’t, but we’ve already polluted it, so now it can.”

The surrounding black Power of Fall spread rapidly, like ink drops in clear water, shifting into various forms and gradually dispersing into the distance. This speed was indeed several tis faster than when it started.

Faced with the facts, Negris had no choice but to believe. He muttered, “It really has beco faster. When angels fall, they’re called Fallen Angels. When God Stars fall, wouldn’t they be called Fallen Stars?”

“What they’re called doesn’t matter. What’s important is whether it’s good or bad for us. If it falls by itself, will the polluted power listen to you or listen to it?” Anthony asked.

Shamara and Luna were both taken aback: “I… I don’t know.”

“Hurry up and verify it,” Anthony urged.

Shamara quickly made a gesture, and outside the Wall of Dawn, the black Power of Fall rapidly gathered into a mass, accumulating more and more, with more black flowing in from other places.

All the polluted Power of Fall was dispersed across the entire God Star, doing its utmost to pollute more power. Gathering it in a short ti wasn’t easy.

Of course, Shamara wasn’t trying to gather it all; after forming a ball, she called it back, and the Fallen Ball passed through the Wall of Dawn unhindered, flying towards Shamara.

“I can contr…” Shamara exclaid joyfully, but just as she finished speaking, the Fallen Ball that had passed through the Wall of Dawn suddenly accelerated, heading straight for Shamara’s face.

A large hand of light reached out from Shamara, firmly grasping the Fallen Ball. Ange appeared.

Following the Fallen Ball, more Power of Fall surged into the Wall of Dawn, swiftly forming the body of the Gray Divine Star. Even before the face could take shape, it impatiently said:

“Unexpected, isn’t it? When I got angry, I suddenly sensed this part of the power, could control it, and could penetrate your barrier. You thief, after stealing so much power from , now prepare to be pumled by this power.”

Outside the Wall of Dawn, endless Power of Fall was converging from all directions, turning into nurous black Fallen Balls, swarming towards the Gray Divine Star like a flock of birds returning to their nests.

Shamara wasn’t planning to gather all the Power of Fall, but the Gray Divine Star clearly intended to do just that. First, to extract the tainted power from its body, and second, to gather a greater force to crush the thief before it.

Ange’s projection held tightly onto the Fallen Star Form of the Gray Divine Star, struggling fiercely, while his true form was forcefully squeezing through the fissure.

When his body and projection overlapped, Ange kicked Shamara out of the fissure; the subsequent battle was beyond what she could endure.

“Damn it, you again! What on earth are you up to?” the Gray Divine Star roared in fury. This guy had been troubling it since the Consciousness Space, yet they had no personal grudge. Why was he doing this?

Ange tilted his head, thought for a mont, and said: “I want half.”

“What? Want half? Half of what?” the Gray Divine Star asked in astonishnt.

“You, power, half,” Ange replied.

The projection on Ange’s body, Negris, nearly burst into laughter. Wasn’t this just copycatting? Little Angel signed a Spiritual Locking Contract with Little Fire Mage to split half, and now Ange had learned to demand half at every encounter.

“Impossible! I’d rather kill you!” The Gray Divine Star, infuriated, condensed another fist and struck towards Ange.

Originally, it intended to seize the powers of others, but halfway through, soone intercepted it and wanted to take half of its power? Was there no justice or constraint?

Ange blocked its fist, confidently delivering a strong kick, and the Gray Divine Star imitated by forming two legs, blocking Ange’s kick. Then another foot kicked over, was blocked, a third foot kicked, blocked again, the fourth, fifth, sixth…

As a being not confined to human form, the Gray Divine Star could grow as many legs and arms as it wanted, and soon had sprouted seven or eight limbs, pumling Ange like a windmill.

Ange’s self-image was of a skeleton, unaccustod to growing limbs at will like the Gray Divine Star, but he had grown used to Spirit Touches, confidently eting the onslaught with one after another.

Boom, boom, boom—the barrage of energy collisions was extrely intense, leaving Negris and Anthony alard.

Usually, such low-level direct confrontations are more nerve-wracking; high-level battles are beyond their comprehension and thus don’t seem as dangerous. However, the standoff between Shamara and the Gray Divine Star was more perilous, and now Ange seed to have relaxed in this battle.

Discovering the fight was at a stalemate again, the mindset of the Gray Divine Star was completely different. Previously, it was the one being drained, watching itself weaken. But now, it was the one draining others.

As more and more Power of Fall converged from everywhere, its strength rapidly increased. Just monts ago, it had worried its power would beco too tainted; now it wished it was even more tainted, so more power could penetrate the barrier.

“Still want half? Still want half? I’ll beat you to death, damn thief!” The Gray Divine Star roared, sowhat losing control.

It was truly furious. After being imprisoned for so long by the Star Progeny Master, that traitor, it finally got free, only to be intercepted by Ange, unable to break through nor drain him completely. In near despair, everything changed because of its anger.

If falling could change everything, then let there be more falling!

The Gray Divine Star roared, and the last, largest wave of Power of Fall suddenly accelerated, surging in from beyond the wall.

As its power surged rapidly, the Gray Divine Star prepared to smash the guy in front of it, only to hear Ange say, “Nagustai is coming.”

“Nagustai?!” the Gray Divine Star’s heart skipped a beat. The na posed an even greater threat, frightening it into looking outside imdiately.

Though Ange blocked it, in terms of Energy Level, Ange wasn’t comparable to it. But Nagustai was different; it was an existence on the sa level as the God Star.

In that brief mont of distraction, Ange leaped back, jumping out of the Wall of Dawn, with his right hand pressing on the absolute wall.

From his right hand, Kram erged, firmly hugging onto the wall.
