Chapter 1502: Chapter 1063: Call Out for a eting

The suggestion about handling the Source of Water from the silver coin was adopted. As he said, it’s the only material in the Void that allows ordinary creatures to perceive Origin Power. Using it recklessly would be a waste.

However, Durken still received a small vial of the substance. Whether for research or crafting dirty bombs, it was useful. Negris even gave him so advice:

“You can use so dried at scraps with a two-stage ignition thod. First, detonate a small drop of the Source of Water to contaminate the scraps, then blast the contaminated scraps into the air. Let those scraps stick to the enemies during the contamination process, and you’ll still achieve the desired effect.”

After dispensing his advice, Negris poured so cold water on the idea: “I just don’t know if the small dosage might be suppressed by the enemy and turn them into beings like who can perceive Origin Power. That would be bad—not hurting the enemy and instead upgrading them.”

Durken nodded in agreent: “You’re right. I need to dilute it and start testing from the smallest dosage. If the small dosage can be suppressed, then it really would be upgrade water.”

Whether it could be suppressed or not, it would still be a good thing. If suppressed, it would be upgrade water; if not, it would be a weapon—both options worked.

Durken, having acquired a new toy, went off to find a place to play with it. The remaining group turned their attention to Ursman, hoping to extract more information about the Source of Water from him.

With a helpless shrug, Ursman said, “I already told you everything I know earlier. My understanding is limited. Even though I live on the sa Plane as it, the gap in our hierarchy is imnse. It is the Spirit of the Earth… uh, also known as the Plane Consciousness, whereas I am rely a human.”

“You’re no ordinary human. You even know about the Ancient Godlight from such a distant past. Do you know the Great Speaker?” Anthony asked.

Ursman replied, “Are you referring to the Council Great Speaker from the Divine Light Association? That powerful Mourning Witch?”

“Mourning Witch? You know him?” Anthony pressed.

“Of course I do. He ruled over this Void back when I was still alive. But I wasn’t close to him. His influence didn’t extend to this area.” Ursman explained.

“How much do you know? Tell everything,” Anthony demanded.

“I can tell you, sure. But I can’t stay trapped in a book forever, can I? This book is Lord Nage’s domain. I need a physical body.” Ursman took the opportunity to make a request.

Anthony looked troubled and said, “Finding you a body isn’t difficult, but what kind of body? We don’t know much about Heroic Spirits, let alone one like you—retaining both wisdom and mory. Would a Necromancer’s body suffice?”

Ursman shook his head in frustration: “A Necromancer’s body won’t work. There’s another troubleso theory I have. Heroic Spirits aren’t supposed to possess wisdom or the ability to think. Yet, I can think. I suspect it’s not due to my form of existence but rather the environnt where I exist that grants the ability to think.”

Everyone imdiately turned their attention to Negris. “By the environnt, do you an the Yellow Mud Book?”

The silver coin seed to realize sothing and nodded in agreent: “That makes sense. Don’t mind how the Red Star and Walker are always fighting—they fight in ways that evolve. Inside the Yellow Mud Book, they clash with large-scale moves, but outside, it turns into a brawl. Is it possible that the Yellow Mud Book grants them the ability to think?”

“Heroic Spirits can only think in my space?” Negris said in astonishnt.

“Why not test it? Lord Nage, take him out of the book,” Anthony suggested.

When Ursman was removed from the Yellow Mud Book, he imdiately reverted to a mass of energy, staying inert without reacting to the outside world.

Quickly, he was placed back into the book: “It seems the Yellow Mud Book truly grants you the ability to think. That ans you’re confined to the book.”

Negris tried to console him: “Don’t worry. My space is yours to occupy—no rent charged, I promise.”

“That’s too dull. I hope you’ll open the book pages often and let see the outside world,” Ursman said and sighed pitifully. Once outside the space, he couldn’t even think.

“Rest assured, I’ll let you out often,” Negris reassured him.

At that mont, Ange suddenly pulled out a silver seedling and threw it on the ground.

The seedling hit the ground with a crisp sound, then slowly cracked open, shattering into fragnts.

Negris took one look and imdiately understood what was happening: “You’re experinting with cultivation again? What’s your goal this ti? Bloodline-contaminating crops? Origin Rice?”

Ange nodded. The Source of Water’s ability to contaminate bloodlines got Durken thinking about diluting it into upgrade water, while Ange envisioned cultivating seedlings.

If the Chaos Tree could yield Chaos Stones, couldn’t other plants that can perceive Origin Power also produce Origin-level fruits? Even without such lofty hopes, simply cultivating new crops would bring Ange joy. So while the others chatted, he had already reached into the Holy Kingdom to begin his experints.

However, sothing dangerous had just occurred. The Source of Water’s infection capability was too strong. When it lost control, it spread outward through the root system, nearly wiping out the crops in the nursery.

After uprooting the infected seedlings, thoroughly checking the nursery’s other crops, and replacing the soil with new earth to ensure no issues remained, Ange finally exhaled in relief. It seed cultivation with the Source of Water couldn’t be done within the nursery—it was far too risky.

For the next while, Ange beca engrossed in cultivation experints with the Source of Water, and Anthony began consolidating the Undead City. These tens of thousands of Undead were the city’s most invaluable resource.

“We still don’t know who’s attacking the Undead City or if they’ll launch another strike after the first. So first, we need to ensure the city’s safety. If protecting the city proves impossible, we must at least ensure the safety of all the Undead,” Anthony stated.

Durken, who was deeply imrsed in researching the Source of Water, was abruptly called over for a eting and quickly voiced his annoyance: “Either move the Plane or move the Undead. If it’s the Plane, just build an Energy Tower. Give a thousand Alchemists, and I’ll craft an Energy Tower comparable to a Bridgehead Fort in six months.”

“But the structure of the Undead City is too fragile. Even if you build the Energy Tower, once it’s activated, the surrounding ‘petals’ will crumble—you’d only be able to move the core central area,” Durken added.

Anthony dismissed the idea outright: “Where am I supposed to find a thousand Alchemists for you? Six months? In six months, a second attack will have already hit us. I might as well go straight in that direction and fight…”

At that mont, Negris suddenly raised his hand and made a gesture for silence. After a long pause, he spoke with a strange expression: “Soone just used Bloodline Resonance to summon for a eting.”
