Chapter 1474: Chapter 1035: Gifting You the Undying Divine Fire

Ange glanced at the book pages but found them incomprehensible. He pulled back and instead began organizing the grain supplies.

The grains were scattered throughout the Divine Realm, without any packaging, and several types of grain were mixed together. It was apparent how rushed and haphazardly they had been thrown in.

Still, with over nine million tons of grain needing to be stored in the Divine Realm, ticulously arranging them would be nearly impossible. It was likely that grain giants had been summoned one by one to walk in themselves, which led to the scattered piles.

“The Power of the Prophet?” Anthony leaned over to look at the book pages.

Negris shook his head. “No, it’s a divination ability, or perhaps astrology. However, with his Omniscience, it allows a certain level of prediction. He foresaw a catastrophic disaster that would cause food shortages, so he stockpiled large amounts of grain in advance.”

“Astrology? Better than Tyrone’s?” Anthony asked in surprise.

“What Tyrone practices is a scam, essentially astronomical observation—pure science. I bet he claid it was astrology to avoid the curia’s prohibitions and stay out of trouble. This, however, is theology,” Negris explained.

Anthony had a mont of realization. “True. If he had dared to call it astronomical observation, the curia would have been eager to tie him to a fire execution fra and burn him as an atheist. While he may not care, his students who study such techniques would surely be terrified. Changing the na does evade many issues. But is the Lord of Omniscience’s astrology accurate?”

Negris smirked. “It’s probably not entirely accurate; otherwise, he wouldn’t have fallen. Where’s the great disaster causing food shortages?”

“Not accurate? Didn’t he predict the Light Disaster?” Anthony said, bewildered.

Negris froze for a mont. “Oh, right. I sohow forgot about the Light Disaster. Ange dealt with that so effortlessly that I completely forgot. So, his predictive techniques are valid?”

When sothing requires imnse effort, ti, and resources to resolve, people rember it vividly. But the things solved effortlessly, as routine as drinking water or eating a al, who would rember how many tis they drank water each day?

Great disaster? Where is the disaster?

Negris flipped through the book several more tis, focusing extra on the key sections, then handed the book back to Anthony. “OK, I’ve morized it. I’ve organized the prediction thod into an Omniscient Prediction Model. You can drive it with Omniscient Divine Power to get divination results—oh, you don’t have Omniscient Divine Power? Well, you can’t use it then.”

Anthony frowned. Where could he get Omniscient Divine Power?

Nobody knew where the All God had fallen. If its Divine Fragnts or Divine Mark could be obtained, resurrecting an Omniscient God Status wouldn’t be impossible. It seed he’d have to keep an eye out for these opportunities.

As he fretted, Conise flew over, saluted, and reported, “Almighty Lord of Omniscience, all the priests have finished their reports. The traitors have been identified and registered. Next, they will be gradually purged. Everyone’s only request is food. Please grant us the grain.”

Conise’s attitude had noticeably shifted. Gone was the perfunctory manner of the past. Now, he earnestly regarded Anthony as a leader, and his reporting posture was sufficiently respectful.

Anthony nodded and turned to report to Ange: “My lord, should we allocate grain from here or transfer it from elsewhere?”

Ange tilted his head, and Negris asked, “Why transfer from elsewhere? Is there a difference?”

“The grain here wasn’t grown by you, so it lacks the effects of the God of Farming. The new harvest at the Zhuo Shan Dinsion was speed-ripened by you—it carries Divine Power. We could use so Demon Crystals to transport it from there,” Anthony explained.

Compared to the Divine Power gained from eating the grain, the cost of transporting it with Demon Crystals was negligible.

“But if you transfer other grain, what about the stuff here? Should we just throw it away?” Negris asked.

There was no way Ange would waste such a massive amount of grain. He imdiately said, “Eat this—eat the grain here.”

Anthony hurriedly called Conise over to begin moving the grain. For Wizards, loose grain was far easier to move than bagged grain. A single summoning technique created grain giants from the piles, which strode to the wagons, fell onto them, and—done—filled them up.

Grain was continuously loaded into wagons, forming a long convoy that was steadily transported away. However, the bustling activity didn’t last long before Ange suddenly raised his head to look at the water screen in the sky.

Negris followed Ange’s gaze and quickly noticed sothing was off. “What’s happening? The Thunder Elent is gathering—who’s activating the Defensive Array?”

Nearby, Conise’s expression changed drastically. He looked at Anthony and shook his head frantically.

Anthony frowned and shouted, “Did you miss anyone? Get closer.”

The Heaven and Earth Shocking Thunder Formation’s power was truly terrifying. It had only been unlucky enough to encounter Ange’s Lightning Spear before, which hadn’t allowed it to demonstrate its full might. However, the Lightning Spear wasn’t defensive—it required proximity to Ange for protection.

Conise quickly hurried over and replied anxiously, “There’s no way I missed anyone. All suspicious targets were heavily monitored—they couldn’t have had a chance to activate the Defensive Array.”

“Then is it soone outside the group? Could an outsider have obtained permission to activate the Defensive Array?” Anthony questioned.

“No…” Conise started to respond but stopped midway as a white flash zipped through the sky—a bolt of lightning struck down from the water screen.

Ange imdiately cast the Lightning Spear to counter it.

In the next mont, Ange grabbed Negris and the silver coin, sprinting toward Anthony and Conise, and leaped onto their heads.

A second white flash tore through the sky, striking a distant grain-filled wagon. The lightning obliterated the wagon, along with the grain it carried.

These bolts weren’t as formidable as the one encountered when Ange first arrived, as their power seed diluted to enable greater numbers. Nonetheless, they were devastatingly effective against grain wagons and people.

The airborne grains erupted into flas mid-air. By the ti they hit the ground, they were scorched black, with so exploding into white popcorn-like puffs.

Witnessing this, Ange narrowed his eyes and glared at the water screen in the sky.

The Defensive Array didn’t stop. The third, fourth, fifth bolt… Lightning fell like torrential rain, targeting Ange, the Divine Realm, and the people below.

The priests of the Church of Omniscience who were supposed to control the Defensive Array, along with Holy Land Warriors, also beca targets. Bolt after bolt turned them into charred corpses.

Only the bolts aid at the Divine Realm and Ange failed to hit their mark. The Little Sapling on Ange’s head fiercely waved its True Leaf, diverting all the electric arcs harmlessly to one side.

However, shielding the Divine Realm and Negris, along with others nearby, was already at its limit. The scattered mbers of the Church of Omniscience couldn’t be saved by Ange.

Thus, under the relentless lightning storm, the entire Sea of Omniscience lay in ruins. Flas blazed everywhere amidst severed limbs and charred corpses. A handful of priests, lucky enough to evade getting struck, ran around screaming like headless flies.

Ange stared at the water screen for a long ti, sensing the Thunder Elent within it had nearly depleted. Then suddenly, he noticed sothing. He turned to look toward the Divine Realm below.

There, a phantom figure holding a peculiar torch was relentlessly igniting the grain piles. Several green flas had already sprung up within the heaps.

Sensing Ange’s gaze, the phantom turned its head, revealing a wide grin. “Where did this fledgling god spring from? Almost ruined our plan. Here’s a gift of Undying Divine Fire—I hope you enjoy it.”

Saying this, the phantom tossed the torch into a grain pile, raised its hands, then lowered them to its waist in a courteous bow before its form disintegrated.

On Ange’s body, a blaze of Soul Fla began to rage.
