Chapter 1462: Chapter 1023: How Did They Manage to Create This Thing?

“Na.”

“Fittol, the null-breaking and light-sharp independently moving demon spirit sword.”

“Age.”

“No idea.”

“Gender.”

“Huh? I’m a demon spirit. Do I even have a gender?”

“Of course! So people have toilets for genders; yours is probably ‘Demon Spirit Longsword,’ right?” Negris scrawled ‘Demon Spirit Longsword’ in the gender field without hesitation.

“Okay, my gender is Demon Spirit Longsword.” Fittol was as obedient as could be, solely because of the barrel of Black Crystals beneath it. If Ange let go, it would plunge straight down.

“Who forged you?” Negris glanced at the cue board in Anthony’s hand and shifted the question.

“Forged? Do you an who created ?” Fittol replied, “I have no idea. From the mont I gained consciousness, I’ve been the way I am now. My sword is my body.”

Negris nodded. “An original Demon Spirit, like the Earth Hamr. So, who gave you your na?”

Fittol said, “I don’t know. It’s just engraved on . Look here, just below the hilt, there’s a line of text—Fittol.”

Negris and Anthony leaned in to inspect. Sure enough, there was a line of text, though Negris couldn’t recognize the script.

“Just ‘Fittol’? What about the ‘null-breaking’ and ‘oscillation’ bits? Who ca up with those?” Negris asked.

Though a sword couldn’t have facial expressions, its tone carried a hint of pride: “I earned those myself. When I tore through space, I called myself Null-Breaking Fittol. After I mastered Oscillation, I beca Null-Breaking Oscillation Fittol.”

“Wow, you can do that? If you slay a dragon soday, are you going to call yourself Dragon Slayer Fittol?” Negris exclaid in surprise.

This naming style was very “Master Plane-esque”—add a new attribute for each skill or kill until the na grows as unwieldy as Luther’s over-glorified Dragon Pattern Steel Core decorative sword.

Fittol sneered, “A dragon? Not worthy of my na. I’ve cut down countless divine spirits and the Lord of Mourning! A re dragon? Laughable.”

“Bet you can’t take down the Goddess of Dawn,” Negris taunted with disdain.

“Can you shut up about the Goddess of Dawn? She’s crystal barrier this, crystal barrier that! Do you even get what a crystal barrier is? Anyone but her—just point out another god, and I’ll cut them down in one strike!” Fittol snarled angrily.

Negris lazily pointed a claw at Ange. “Him, the God of Farming.”

“The God of Farming? Impossible. He’s the one who… Fine, he’s excluded too. Find soone else, and I’ll cleave them apart in one stroke,” Fittol fud.

Who was it kidding? To think its oppressor was the God of Farming? What kind of nonsense was that? Not a single honest word ca out of this Little Fat Dragon’s mouth.

After a few more questions, Ange grabbed the sword and resud cutting Black Crystals, while Negris and Anthony huddled together, whispering. “Nine out of ten questions unanswered. This Demon Spirit is practically useless,” Negris complained.

“It’s just a Demon Spirit, rely a sword. What would you expect it to know? Still, we can deduce so things from it. The faction imprisoning the Goddess of Dawn must’ve existed for a long ti, and they’ve grown enormous, running their own operations. They’re definitely not a small group and probably fall within the Divine Light Alliance’s sphere of influence. Let’s tell the Silver Coin to keep an eye out,” Anthony suggested.

“Even if they’re outside the Alliance, they can’t be far. The Great Speaker is useless—such a massive faction has developed under his nose, building entire prison systems for gods, and he hasn’t noticed?” Negris muttered in disbelief.

Anthony shrugged. “There are dozens of Planes. Monitoring all of them isn’t that easy. Back when the Church of Light heavily monitored the Master Plane, you guys still managed to secretly develop Goddess of Beauty City in the desert while they remained clueless. They even sent the Flying Dragon Knight Squad marching straight into disaster.”

After a pause, Anthony added, “Plus, I suspect the Endless Cage is so sort of Dinsional Space, which makes it even trickier. You could hide it almost anywhere.”

“Forget it. At least Ange scored himself a tool for cutting Black Crystals—not a total loss. But what about the Goddess of Dawn?” Negris asked.

Anthony replied, “I gave her a Positioning Stone. The mont she escapes the Endless Cage and activates it, the boss can sense her location imdiately. But it’s been half a day already, and there’s been no reaction. Either she hasn’t broken out yet or hasn’t activated the Positioning Stone.”

Just as he finished speaking, Ange, who was busy cutting Black Crystals in the distance, suddenly shoved a chunk of freshly cut Black Crystal into the Little Ghost’s mouth. Then, holding the sword tightly, he raced back toward them.

The group gathered together as Ange tucked the Demon Spirit Longsword under his arm. He rubbed his hands briskly and slamd a Teleportation Array onto the ground.

When they reappeared, they were standing above a sea of molten lava, with a rocky ceiling overhead. It seed like the space between a Plane’s underground magma flows and its rock layers.

Thick stone pillars rose from the lava, supporting the rock above. Each pillar extended an enormous iron chain, which intertwined at the center to form a massive ball of chains.

Ange’s group had teleported right above this iron chain ball.

The Guardian of Infinity, Samus, imdiately noticed them. His gaze landed first on Anthony, then darted to the Demon Spirit Longsword clutched under Ange’s arm.

“It’s him! He’s the one who freed the Goddess of Dawn and stole my sword! Kill them!” Samus roared.

Ange’s attention shifted instantly. Standing on the scalding lava were nurous humans. Clad in high-collared black robes with shaved heads and bare feet, they seed entirely unbothered by the searing molten surface beneath them.

At Samus’s command, these bald, black-robed figures rose into the air, each exuding a faint shadowy silhouette. The silhouettes manifested enormous Magma Fireballs, which they flung with all their might at Ange and his group.

But trying to use Magma Fireballs against Ange? Laughable. He swiped a hand through the air, and the incoming fireballs lost their ‘fire’ instantly, transforming into plain rock spheres—stripped of their essence.

Deprived of Fire Elents, the rock spheres were swiftly smashed into fragnts by Ange, wielding the Null-Breaking Oscillation Light-Sharp Longsword.

Seeing this, the burliest of the bald, black-robed figures shouted in unison and heaved forcefully.

The bubbling lava below surged upward, enveloping these figures in massive molten columns. The lava rapidly infused their shadowy silhouettes.

Before long, several towering Molten Giants materialized in mid-air, treading with thunderous steps as they charged toward Ange.

Magma Magic lacking Origin Power posed no threat to Ange whatsoever. He didn’t even need to transform. His rapid-fire Fire Magic obliterated the Molten Giants into fragnts with ease.

After the final Molten Giant was reduced to rubble, the remaining bald, black-robed figures exchanged glances. As if by tacit understanding, they all nodded.

The Black Robe Wizards tore off their robes simultaneously and began chanting loudly: “I am the ultimate heat, flowing through the planet’s core. I am molten stone, supre and eternal…”

The originally heat-resistant wizards, standing barefoot on magma unhard, began to sizzle and sink as they shed their robes. Soon, their bodies burst into flas.

Anthony gasped in shock. “What are they doing? Have they lost their minds? Are they trying to get themselves killed?”

Negris cursed, “They’re performing a sacrificial ritual! Kvada, are they insane? If you can’t win, just run! It’s not like we’re chasing them. Was sacrificing themselves really necessary? What the hell are they summoning?”

The answer beca clear quickly. A powerful consciousness was awakening beneath the lava.

Negris was left stunned. “No way… Plane Consciousness? How did they manage to awaken that?!”
