Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton Chapter 1356 - 1356 917 Did Little Ghost also fly over here
Chapter 1356: Chapter 917: Did Little Ghost also fly over here? Chapter 1356: Chapter 917: Did Little Ghost also fly over here? When fully stimulated, the power of the Chaos Stone can annihilate skin, flesh, and bones, but if the release of the Power of Chaos is controlled and allowed to ‘splash’ onto an object, it creates an ‘inlay’ effect, endowing objects that previously lacked the Power of Chaos with it.
Ange had already tried this on his joints and the soles of his feet because of his chanical construct body, those parts wore out too easily and couldn’t withstand much weight or impact, aning they couldn’t handle heavy-duty tasks.
This was extrely frustrating for Ange, who used to be able to drag that soone and bash them about, yet now couldn’t even lift a lumberjack construct.
Using this ‘splashing’ thod to inlay the Power of Chaos into an object could significantly alter the object’s properties, whether it be hardness or resistance to wear.
Most importantly, the chanical construct now had a reaction to the Power of Chaos like Wrench had in life.
“Isn’t this just crystal coating? It can be done this way? Plating the Power of Chaos onto other objects?” the Monarch exclaid in surprise.
For so reason, in this world, ordinary people like Wrench all had the origin power of the Power of Chaos within them.
According to Wrench, he was just a regular chanic, not even an alchemist, only capable of assembling and repairing chanical constructs, not making them—that was the job of alchemists, and he had no special powers, being neither a swordsman nor a wizard.
Such utterly ordinary humans also possessed the Power of Chaos, one of the powers of the Void Origin.
Now, with this simple thod, Ange had plated the Power of Chaos onto the chanical construct, instantly elevating it to a construct possessing the Power of Chaos, not to ntion whether it was practical or not, the imposing presence alone was on another level.
Since there was a limited amount of Chaos Stone, Ange could not plate everything, he only plated the joints, cockpit, and circular saw, and the Monarch went out excitedly to have fun.
Ange plated the remaining Chaos Stones onto his own body.
Over the next ten days or so, Ange could harvest around forty Chaos Stones daily, all of which he plated onto himself, and then he discovered that he seed to be able to sense the Power of Chaos.
“Sensing the Power of Chaos? Haven’t you always been able to sense it? You can see the Power of Chaos on Wrench and the others,” the Monarch said, puzzled.
Ange scratched his head with so aggravation, the sensing he spoke of wasn’t the sa type of sensing.
“Light, can see, cannot sense; Power of Chaos, can see, cannot sense; now, can sense,” Ange managed to articulate a rather lengthy sentence, then deeply missed Negris once again.
“Are you saying, you can sense it like the Light Elent, and you could gather it through ditation like the Magic Elents?” the Monarch marvelled.
Ange nodded, spread the palm of his hand for a mont of ditation, and a dense mass of the Power of Chaos slowly gathered in the center of his palm.
When the Chaos Elent was dense enough to be visible to the naked eye, Ange carried it outside to the Chaos Tree and, like watering it, sprinkled the Power of Chaos onto the tree.
More crystal lattices visibly separated on the tree, rapidly increasing its size.
The Monarch’s spirit was lifted, “It can be done like this? With your infinite magic power, couldn’t you continuously gather the Power of Chaos to accelerate their growth? That’s great, hurry up, let’s plate all of my constructs too.”
Ange shook his head, “No magic power left.”
“Uh, right, your projected soul isn’t strong, maybe I should just give you so of my Soul Energy, it seems like any power is better used in your hands than mine,” the Monarch said dejectedly.
It was a fact that Ange habitually made comparisons to find the most efficient thods, whether for farming or fighting.
Ange shook his head and ran to the Chaotic Burial Mound a few kiloters away from the farm, dug up the remains he had buried last ti, and crushed the bones to powder.
If Chaos Stone could be coated, then could bone powder be mixed in and coated onto the chanical Construct at the sa ti?
The experint was soon successful on a lumbering chanical Construct, whose original ironwood material was now coated with a layer of grayish-white.
“This color, it’s like dead bones?” The Undead King was startled and hurriedly climbed into the construct. After a series of operations, the lumbering chanical Construct began to move.
However, the newly animated lumbering chanical Construct was much too agile, even starting to dance with the exuberance of a “Monarch’s Coming” graveyard dance, which was completely different from the original clumsy and slow movents.
Soon, the Monarch poked his head out, surprised, “I feel like the chanical Construct has beco a skeleton, and I’m directly controlling it with my soul; there’s no need to go through all the links inside.”
Coating the construct with bone powder made it affinity to souls, allowing for direct soul control, as if one’s own spirit had possessed a chanical Construct skeleton.
“That’s really sothing. How did you think of this?” The Monarch was stunned by Ange’s endless innovations. All he knew was to hack away or hide until his strength grew, then continue hacking. Where did all these ideas co from?
“How about this, you help coat the inside and outside of the construct with bone powder. Then, with a bit of effort, I’ll refine the construct as if it were a skeleton. Such a large construct could regain up to thirty to forty percent of the strength of the Black Crystal Body if refined to the level of purple gold,” the Monarch suddenly suggested.
Ange thought about it and nodded, but then spread his hands, “We’re out of bones.”
“Out? What a desolate place,” the Monarch said regretfully.
To an Undead King, a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood was a land of plenty. With barely any corpses, what else could it be but desolate? It was so bad that even the breath of death was sparing.
A few calm days passed, and all the Chaos Stones Ange fard each day were used up, with the construct’s body changing daily, no longer as fragile as the original and wearing down even during normal activity.
After more than ten days, Nagi finally returned, having procured the goods and sent them all at once through the Space Gate.
While counting the items, Nagi reported, “Boss, a living Chaos Tree really did sell for ten million Demon Crystals; those big Comrce Guilds sure have money.”
“The Friel Queen offered a bounty of one billion Demon Crystals to buy a Chaos Tree Farm. Boss, if you sell this place, you’ll have one billion Demon Crystals.”
“However, the bounty probably wasn’t ant for us; it was likely ant for the big tycoons inside the Divine Light Association. A Chaos Stone Farm for one billion Demon Crystals, perhaps so power within the association would actually be willing to sell.”
“After all, even if the Friel Queen got the farm, she might not be able to keep the Chaos Tree alive, and even if she succeeded, it’s hard to say how many lifetis it would take to earn back one billion Demon Crystals from a farm that size.”
Nagi kept reporting non-stop, and Ange didn’t respond, making it seem as though he was just talking to himself.
“Oh, right, I heard that the Friel Royal Astronomical Institute has made new discoveries in their research on the Boundless Space Hole. There’s actually a light appearing in the huge void, and according to the scholars from the Astrology Institute, observing with a Stargazing Mirror revealed that the light was a fortress.”
“Ha-ha, a fortress appearing in the Boundless Space Hole, those scholars really know how to joke. Oh, do you know what the Boundless Space Hole is?” Nagi suddenly rembered to ask, as those not following Astrology Study rarely knew what the Boundless Space Hole was.
Ange scratched his head, wondering if that silly Little Ghost had followed them here as well?
