Chapter 1220: Chapter 784: The Ancient God with God Status Chapter 1220: Chapter 784: The Ancient God with God Status Having relied on the Spirits of Faith for life and battle over a long period, the Void Clan mbers had beco sowhat at a loss once they lost them, especially since the last Spirit of Faith took the clan mbers hostage without hesitation, dealing a serious blow to their faith. Were these entities truly their allies, or were they parasites?

They hadn’t entertained such a concept before, but as Copper Spear occasionally harped on about it, even if they didn’t believe in what Copper Spear said, a seed of doubt had been planted in their hearts. Now, it involuntarily erupted.

After killing those Spirits of Faith, Starfire completely ignored the Void Clan mbers, flew to the Starsfires, and picked them up one by one, “With money now, can get lots of Elf Beans.”

The Brilliant Starfires, at this mont, besides the power that originally belonged to Starfire, were also wrapped in an Imprint. Ange recognized at a glance what it was, sowhat similar to the Faith Imprint that his Subordinate Gods and Zealots possessed.

Once in possession of a Faith Imprint, an individual could join with the Master God Status forming a channel of faith, receiving a continuous supply of Faith Elental Force through the other’s node.

However, the principle of these Faith Imprints shouldn’t be like that. They seed more like turning each parasitized individual into a zealot, continuously drawing out their faith.

“This works, too? Had I known, I would have done the sa back then, to gain a zealot with just a little parasitism,” Negris muttered.

Back then, he didn’t have even one zealot. His faith was in decline until he died, and then a Red Star appeared, but it was just in ti to be sealed, and he got nothing out of it.

With a chuckle, Anthony said, “Then you would have been the Evil God, do you know why even Holy Spirit Angels can forcibly absorb Faith Elental Force, yet the Church of Light never dares to do that?”

Stunned, Negris asked, “Why?”

“Because they would be killed by Your Majesty. Your Majesty has killed no less than a dozen Evil Gods, maybe seventeen or eighteen. Furthermore, such a Faith System is not conducive to growth; its followers are useless. They lack the ability to define new Divine Arts,” Anthony explained.

Negris stubbornly said, “As if not doing so would have spared from a beating.”

Ange then took out a few more hands to deal with the Void Clan mbers who were standing there dumbfounded, while Alia got involved in soothing the clan mbers.

Only a puppet quietly flew to the side of the Void Clan mber whose heart had been blasted away, gently cradling him in its arms. During the entire battle, he was the only casualty of the Void Clan.

Ange floated to the puppet’s side and cocked his head.

Those with people-pleasing personalities have very delicate hearts. The puppet had already co to understand Ange’s body language and said with a touch of sadness, “He was also my student. After I was sealed inside the puppet, he ca to visit . Even though he was afraid of , he still told so of the clan’s views on my existence and advised to be careful. He was a good child. Could I ask to bury him?”

Ange shook his head.

The puppet imdiately seed overwhelmingly desolate and dejected, as if about to burst into tears.

With helplessness, Anthony said, “What my lord ans is, he’s not dead yet, no need to bury him. You shouldn’t just talk to anyone with that personality of yours, or you’ll easily feel smothered. Never mind, co find later, and I’ll clean you up.”

Resurrection? Clean up? The puppet looked up just as Ange flicked out a drop of Insect Ash Liquid, and a burst of Holy Light pressed onto the corpse’s wound.

The missing heart incessantly grew back, and when it was healed, Ange gently flicked it, and the heart imdiately started beating.

In the hollow chest, a heart beat there—an utterly eerie and miraculous sight.

Then Ange moved the Holy Light to the chest area, where muscles and blood vessels visibly grew. At the sa ti, the dead Void Clan mber actually opened his eyes and watched his own chest heal.

Nothing was more shocking than regrowing a severed limb or coming back to life, as it was one’s most familiar body. All the Void Clan mbers were rendered motionless in astonishnt—the puppet as well, and so too the person resurrected.

In contrast, Ange and his group, accustod to such bizarre events, went back to studying those Spirits of Faith and the new research subjects, which also included the imprints sealed within the Brilliant Starfires, as if nothing had happened.

After all was handled, all the people were herded into the dwelling of the Void Clan—a real lair that was a massive organic structure akin to a honeycomb, seemingly constructed from the secretions of so creature. One didn’t even have to think about it; it must have been like the shell of a snail, the masterpiece of so gargantuan Ancient God.

This lair had now beco the holand of the Void Clan. Inside were many chambers, like rooms, probably numbering in the millions. However, with just over fifty thousand Void Clan people, one per chamber wouldn’t even fill one percent of the lair.

At the very center of the lair was a huge hollow chamber, with the Inner Wall sared with a gel-like substance, upon which a variety of crops were planted. At the central point was a hexahedron, each of its faces carved with Illumination Magic Arrays. Alia had hoped to replace this hexahedron with light points.

“But now it’s not important. I hope you can take us in, my lord. Without the protection of a powerful being, we can’t survive in this Void,” Alia pleaded on her knees in front of Ange.

Ange cocked his head, Negris sighed, and Anthony shrugged helplessly—it was this type of trouble he had always been reluctant to ddle with.

Although being parasitized is an evil act, in the harsh Chaos Plane, such an exchange was not unacceptable. To erase the other party’s parasite was to eliminate the protection they received as well, making you responsible for their welfare.

Had there been plenty of ti, Anthony might have taken an interest in winning over these people’s faith. But with no ti to deal with them now, he could only take them along.

After cramming all the Void Clan mbers into a space, the last ti it was hit by a Hole Bug, the Dinsional Space had expanded quite a bit. Even if it held fifty or sixty thousand people, there was still ample space for life and production.

It just so happened that Ange had prepared the land inside, needing manpower to manage it now.

When all things were settled, the Serpent of Misfortune arrived with a God Status and a dejected-looking Thunder God Bronze Spear following behind it.

“What’s the situation?” Negris asked curiously.

The Serpent of Misfortune spat out the God Status, boasting, “He was defeated, nearly died. I saved him.”

“Ah? That weak?” Negris said in surprise, recalling how boastful he had been at the beginning.

Copper Spear got so angry that he jumped up and down, shouting, “It lies! It’s not a God. It’s an Ancient God, an Ancient God with a God Status!”
