Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton Chapter 1061 - 1061 626
Chapter 1061: 626 Chapter 1061: 626 No one had ever seen the Serpent of Misfortune, at least Tyranus hadn’t. He only knew it was the archenemy of the Dragon God, and all information he had about it ca from the Dragon God. However, Tyranus had never seen the actual Dragon God either, only heard so legends from the Giant Dragon Clan.
This situation was akin to: “The giant dragons are so powerful, then their ancestors must be even more formidable. Wow, if their ancestors were that formidable, then their archenemies must also be incredibly powerful.”
The stories were passed from mouth to mouth, becoming more distorted with each telling, until no one knew what the original story had been.
But to be able to communicate directly into his mind, and have the capability to ambush in the Void, and daring to call him a fool, it seed there was no one else but the Serpent of Misfortune.
“Yes, it’s . This skeleton has many peculiar abilities, including stealing others’ power for Elent Conversion. Most of your attack power was stolen by him. Are you blind not to see?” the Serpent of Misfortune scolded.
“Are you really the Serpent of Misfortune? Your tone doesn’t sound like one from an ancient being,” Tyranus questioned doubtfully.
The Serpent of Misfortune paused for a mont before responding, “Oh, I got used to it. I’ve been arguing a lot with others lately, which has enriched my language quite a bit, all thanks to that foul-mouthed horse and that chatty tree. Let adjust.”
After saying this, the tone of the Serpent of Misfortune changed, “Depart the Void imdiately, for I lie in wait here.”
“?? What did you say?” Tyranus was confused.
“Sigh, you don’t understand when I speak in the Ancient God Language. Just get out quickly, I’m ambushing from outside,” the Serpent of Misfortune said irritably.
Tyranus thought to himself that the Serpent of Misfortune’s tone was far too humanized, unlike what one would expect from a being capable of being the archenemy of the Dragon God. However, considering it could transmit ssages directly into his mind, there was no doubt it was a being of the sa level as himself.
As for leaving the Void, Tyranus had already been considering it, even without the Serpent of Misfortune. He too wanted to leave because he sensed the adverse situation. In the Void, they could use the Thunder-chariot.
The Thunder-chariot was a creation of the Thunder Elent, which could not be used on the Pri Material Plane unless it went through a series of demagnetization and elent neutralization processes. Even moisture in the air could trigger the release of energy from the Thunder-chariot.
The armor pieces on the Thunder Titan were also creations of the Thunder Elent, but as they were small in size, the Titan could suppress the elent reactions. The chariot, being much larger, couldn’t be suppressed by the Titan alone, only
Thinking this, Tyranus firmly said, “There’s too much interference here, if you dare, co out to face !”
Having said this, he lashed out one last ti and pushed forward vigorously. The half-circle electric field ford with the Titans was bulging at front, but now he pressed forward, dragging the field taut.
When he released his forward push, his whole form was imdiately snapped back by the electric net, breaking through the Plane Barrier and arriving in the Void.
Even for a Titan God King, he felt sowhat overtaxed at that mont. The Master Plane had a Plane Barrier, and breaking through it required considerable force, though cooperating with other Titans minimized that consumption.
When they entered, it was through the traction of a region rich in Thunder Elent on the Master Plane, with Tyranus throwing them in, then everyone pulling Tyranus in, reducing a great deal of energy loss between the throw and the pull.
Now, being ejected from the inside, the consumption was several tis more than entering, and more troubling, they had been too busy causing destruction to replenish their Thunder Elent, all consumption and no replenishnt, a major loss.
But Tyranus couldn’t rest; he needed to quickly pull the other Titans out. Compared to the loss of power, the loss of manpower was actually greater, with about sixty Titans and nearly twenty already captured by Ange, they had lost a third.
Fortunately, Titans were tough. As long as the Titan core was not damaged, bathing in lightning would enable them to be reborn. They needed to figure out how to rescue those Titans captured by Ange.
Distracted by these thoughts, Tyranus summoned the Thunder-chariot and quickly began pulling his comrades, with streams of electric light probing the Void and pulling out spheres of light. Soon, when he reached the thirty-eighth, he could no longer feel the electrical field of others.
“Where are the rest of the Thunders?” Tyranus asked the last Titan he had pulled out, roughly five others should still be inside. Where could they have gone?
The last one dragged out was a Gold Titan, his face full of an expression of relief, “I’m the last one left, all the others were taken, that skeleton’s lightning spear couldn’t be blocked at all.”
“It’s not that it couldn’t be blocked, you’re just too weak,” Tyranus said irritably. Hadn’t he just blocked it? By first doing this, then that, the electric field could have slowed it down and then intercepted it.
However, thinking of the other Titans’ weak electric fields, Tyranus couldn’t expect too much from them. He turned towards the void and shouted loudly, “Serpent of Misfortune, where are you?!”
In the distance, the pitch-black void sharply revealed two eyes and even ford a finger pressing against lips as it urgently whispered, “Shh, shh! Are you stupid? I’m laying an ambush.”
Tyranus, puzzled, extended his finger to his lips and mimicked the gesture, “What does this an?” Most Titans are elental Titans with no physical bodies and do not understand this body language.
“It ans you should keep quiet,” the voice of the Serpent of Misfortune grew fainter and it slowly closed its eyes, completely disappearing into the pitch-black void.
But after waiting for quite a while, and realizing that Ange hadn’t pursued, the voice of the Serpent of Misfortune couldn’t help but erge in Tyranus’s mind again, “Eh, what’s going on? Why hasn’t he followed? What did you tell him?”
Tyranus was also puzzled, “I said, ‘If you dare, co out and face .'”
“That’s it? You didn’t insult or provoke him more? You can’t possibly… not know how to curse, can you? That guy hates it most when people burn his fields—you could have said, ‘Co out, or I’ll burn all your fields.'”
Upon hearing that, Tyranus exploded on the spot, “Exactly! He hates it when people burn his fields the most; why did you even urge to burn fields? You deliberately set up!”
“Not really,” the Serpent of Misfortuneresponded in a nonchalant tone, “Initially, I advised you to leave. You refused, so I suggested you burn forests, cities, farms, etc., not specifically fields.”
A tight feeling gripped Tyranus’s heart; not because of the Serpent of Misfortune’s ‘clearing its na’ attitude, but because even in this situation, the Serpent chose to clarify its stance on this issue?
Just then, Tyranus sensed a strange noise and quickly asked, “What’s that sound?”
The void was pitch-black; there were no lights, no fluctuations, and even the Undead were unable to see far in such an environnt.
The void was also silent, yet now, this silence was being broken. Sothing was disturbing this ‘quietness,’ causing Tyranus’s heart to skip a beat.
In the void, whatever could break this silence was definitely not a ‘small’ thing.
Just then, a Titan on the periter reached out and pointed to the side, shouting loudly, “Void Fortress! Void Fortress!”
The Holy Kingdom burst from the pitch-black void, like a heavy-duty mining rig, smashing little bugs with the force of thunder—Titan’s thunder chariots were re bugs.
The Titan who had shouted was run over by the Holy Kingdom and burst apart with a snap.
On the edge of the Holy Kingdom, a Purple Gold Skeleton gripped a Lightning Spear, ready to strike; however, suddenly, as if sensing sothing, it violently turned its gaze towards the direction where the Serpent of Misfortune had vanished.
Then, scales swirled over his body, transforming back into the powerful inverted-triangle muscled form of the Dragon God, his face filled with a look of surprise.
“Why? Why can he transform into the Dragon God so quickly again? Why can he control the Church of Light’s Holy Kingdom? Why!!” Tyranus cried out in panic.
The Serpent of Misfortune certainly knew whom he was yelling at, but it couldn’t afford to respond now, feeling utterly panicked, as it seed to have accidentally activated so latent ability of the Dragon God.
