On the other end of the line, Ye Feng's reaction was not what Xu Ke had expected.

"You..." Ye Feng was at a loss for words. After struggling for a mont, he finally asked, "What do you want?"

After another mont of silence, Ye Feng finally caught on and roared in anger, "So, your plan from the start was to accuse just so I'd help you for free?"
"You misunderstand. I'm just genuinely disheartened," Xu Ke said earnestly.
"Do you take for a three-year-old?" Ye Feng shot back.
"Are you helping or not?" Xu Ke said, losing patience.
In truth, Xu Ke had never intended to actually bla Ye Feng. Their loyalties were different, so it was perfectly normal for Ye Feng not to warn him. However, if he didn't take the moral high ground, how could he possibly get Ye Feng to arrange his trip to Sui City at no cost?
"I won't help. Not unless you trade the truth for it." How could the esteed Third Young Master Ye allow himself to be used for free?
Xu Ke covered the receiver with his hand and turned to Qin Yu, his expression suddenly turning sorrowful. "Qin Yu, I know it's wrong to demand repaynt for a kindness. But it's a fact that I saved you, isn't it?"
Qin Yu nodded hastily.
Xu Ke's expression grew even more somber. "The Ye Family is powerful. I am like an insignificant ant to them. I have a compelling reason to go to Sui City, but I also know that Ye Yunfeng will surely set a deadly trap there, leaving with nowhere to hide. Your brother is the only one who understands Ye Yunfeng well enough to help evade the assassination attempt. I have no other options."

As Xu Ke was leaving Feng Wei's house, he received a text from Ye Feng: "You damn bastard. If you ever use my sister to force to work for you for free again, I'll kill you!"

"You already told that. What else?" Wong Qifu didn't think that was news worth a special trip to the Wong Family Corporation.
Xu Ke grinned. "I know the Huang, Ye, and Qin Families are teaming up to kill on the way to Sui City. According to so not-so-reliable information, they may have six Innate Great Perfection Experts."
At this, Wong Qifu's expression changed dramatically. "What did you say?" Even she, normally unflappable, was badly shaken by this news.

Wong Qifu was montarily stunned, then couldn't help but laugh. "It seems you already had a plan. Then why did you co to ?" She had thought he was here to ask for help.
Xu Ke walked right up to Wong Qifu, his tone suddenly playful. "Can't I give my wife a hug before I leave?"
"Who's your wife? We're not even engaged," Wong Qifu replied, rolling her eyes at him flirtatiously.
"Then how about a hug for my dear Qifu?"
"You believe I won't call soone in here... Ah! Why the surprise attack?"

When Xu Ke left the Wong Family Corporation, he was feeling a bit regretful. Their tender mont had been cut short by a phone call, so apart from a quick hug, he hadn't managed to proceed to the next step.
Just then, his phone rang. It was Ye Feng. "Xu Ke, I've got it handled."
