Capítulo 976: Chapter 976: Let’s Have a Child
Leng Yan called and asked, his grandfather hadn’t gone to bed yet. Hearing they were coming over, he seed genuinely happy.
Xia Nuo didn’t know they were going today, so she hadn’t bought any gifts in advance.
But just being there is enough; the old man would be satisfied knowing their intentions.
Having been married for over half a year, this was Xia Nuo’s first ti eting Leng Yan’s grandfather. Although in his seventies, he was full of energy and walked with vigor.
Seeing he didn’t look old at all, Xia Nuo thought with admiration that grandfather could surely live another twenty years.
What surprised Xia Nuo, however, was that Leng Yan’s grandfather was actually of mixed heritage. He had the typical features of mixed ancestry, with deep-set features that hinted at his handso younger self.
No wonder Leng Yan is so good-looking; it turns out he’s the descendant of a mixed heritage.
Leng Yan and his grandfather had only begun to form so emotional connection in recent years, but it wasn’t nearly as deep as a typical family bond between grandparents and grandchildren.
After they ate, the old man went to rest as he was tired.
When Leng Yan and Xia Nuo returned ho, it was already midnight.
Lying in bed, Xia Nuo held onto him and couldn’t help but ask, “Where’s your mom, shall we see her tomorrow?”
Leng Yan was silent for a mont, then said, “I’ll go by myself.”
“Why don’t I go with you? Even though I don’t have feelings for her, she’s still your mother after all.”
“Okay.” Leng Yan held her tightly and agreed with a bit of emotion.
Xia Nuo, unable to keep things to herself, said again, “Let’s find a ti to have a al with your mom alone so other day. I want to ask her what’s the issue with her and my parents.”
In the darkness, Leng Yan’s eyes flickered with an unclear expression.
He didn’t respond, but instead found her lips and kissed her deeply. His kisses started gently but grew increasingly intense, as if with a sense of plunder or wanting to hold onto sothing.
Under his fervent kisses, Xia Nuo’s mind gradually beca blurred.
Leng Yan held her tightly and buried himself inside her, using all his skills to make her feel pleasure.
As Xia Nuo reached her peak, he panted against her earlobe and said, “Xia Nuo, let’s have a baby.”
“Okay…” Xia Nuo, in a daze, didn’t really understand what he was saying and just agreed haphazardly.
Hearing her consent, Leng Yan felt a rush of excitent. He hugged her tightly and started another round of passion.
After a night of exertion, the next day Xia Nuo woke up feeling sore all over.
She opened her eyes, habitually reached out to open the drawer of the bedside table, took out a birth control pill, and intended to take it.
Just as she was about to take it, her wrist was grabbed, and Leng Yan frowned, “Didn’t you say we wanted a baby?”
Xia Nuo was montarily stunned, rembering what he said during the night.
She chuckled, knowing she couldn’t think at that ti, so the answer didn’t really count.
Gently patting his hand, she smiled and said, “Leng Yan, now isn’t the ti to have a baby.”
Their careers were just starting, and though he was already nineteen, he was still quite young.
To have a baby, at least wait until he’s over twenty.
Besides, she wasn’t ready to beco a mother yet.
Leng Yan held her hand tighter, turned her body, and asked gloomily, “Why’s it not the right ti, Xia Nuo, I want a child from you.”
“What child? You’re still just a…” child.
His expression suddenly turned dark, and the words Xia Nuo wanted to say got caught in her throat.
