Her life was given by her parents, and she was raised by them. She knew that marrying Leng Yan without their consent was her fault.

But she truly did not regret being with Leng Yan.

The only thing she sowhat regretted was that she should have gotten their consent before marrying Leng Yan.

But they opposed so strongly, maybe it would be impossible to ever get their consent.

So this bit of regret only fleetingly passed through her heart.

"Dad, Mom, don’t worry, no matter what the outco is, I will bear it myself. Please rest assured, I will definitely live a very happy life." Only if she is happy can her parents find so comfort.

Coming out from her parents’ house, Leng Yan held her shoulders, lowering his head to deeply kiss her forehead.

He tightly clenched her hand, solemnly saying, "Xia Nuo, we will definitely be very happy, believe , there will be a day when uncle and aunt forgive us."

"Mm, I believe you." Xia Nuo hugged his waist and nodded with a smile.

Leng Yan hugged her tightly, deciding that he will co alone next ti to make ands, he couldn’t let his wife be sad anymore.

After resting for a few days, Leng Yan decided to start a software company.

Xia Nuo naturally supported him unconditionally.

Leng Yan suggested she join him, and Xia Nuo gladly agreed.

The happiness of sharing joys and sorrows can only be achieved when two people struggle together.

However, Xia Nuo didn’t understand software developnt, she only understood English, so she beca Leng Yan’s assistant, helping him handle so paperwork.

Opening a company requires a lot of energy, the two of them worked diligently during the day, and cherished their ti together after work, days passed quickly nonetheless.

However, every week they would buy gifts and visit the Xia Family to see Dad and Mom, and Mrs. Xia and Mr. Xia’s attitude towards them gradually softened.

Although they hadn’t forgiven them yet, they didn’t drive them away as soon as they arrived.

After two months, Leng Yan’s company had seven or eight employees, all IT elites, Xia Nuo was very curious and didn’t know how Leng Yan managed to recruit them.

Running the company didn’t encounter major problems, and the profits were decent, Xia Nuo’s days were fulfilling and satisfying, much happier compared to the days she used to work alone.

Moreover, Leng Yan pampered her more and more, their relationship was as good as if they were newly in love, Xia Nuo always marveled that perhaps she was the happiest woman in the world.

In the blink of an eye, it was a few months later, and Spring Festival was approaching.

Leng Yan received a call from his grandfather, asking him to bring Xia Nuo ho for the New Year.

He declined but promised to bring Xia Nuo over for a al on New Year’s Day.

On New Year’s Eve, Leng Yan accompanied Xia Nuo to the Xia Family, this ti Mr. and Mrs. Xia kept them for dinner, and it wasn’t until ten o’clock at night that they got up to leave, preparing to return to their own ho.

On the drive back, Leng Yan tried to say to her, "Grandpa wants us to co over for dinner tomorrow."

Xia Nuo paused for a mont, and instead of answering, she asked, "Is anyone with Grandpa celebrating New Year’s today?"

"No."

Xia Nuo thought to herself, Grandpa must want them to co over today, surely Leng Yan declined.

He thought of her parents first, which made her very touched, but Grandpa was also his family, even if there’s no bond, they couldn’t neglect the old man.

"Why don’t we go over now?" Xia Nuo said with a smile.

Leng Yan glanced at her, dumbfounded, and said, "It’s too late now, he might already be asleep."

"Not necessarily, call and ask him."
