Qiao Mo took a few seconds to react, retreating slightly, her small face burning as if with a fever of thirty-nine degrees, unable to muster the courage to lift her eyes to et his gaze.

Watching as the half glass of water slid down his throat, she averted her eyes, stepping sideways past him with hurried steps, intent on escaping.
But after taking only two steps, he pulled her back, pressing her against the table behind them, fiercely claiming her rosy lips.
