The battle raged in complete darkness. Yes, literally in total, consuming blackness.

Bolin looked visibly uneasy; it was clear that he had no data on Nysera or her abilities, aning his forces hadn’t prepared any counterasures. And of course, fighting against a Dark Elent user was never easy. Without a strong number of Light Elent users, there was almost no way to properly fight back.

The clash didn’t last long. In just a few minutes, the outco appeared before them.

[Fengrath has declared surrender after suffering 38% total troop losses.]

[Nysera has successfully defended her island, sustaining 45% structural and force damage.]

Atlas fell silent as the system ssage appeared before his eyes. He kept his expression steady, refusing to let any reaction show.

The result wasn’t as good as he had hoped.

Nysera had indeed proven her incredible defensive power. But the damage she had taken was significant, nearly half her island’s strength. Even worse, the enemy lord had managed to escape after declaring surrender, robbing them of a full victory.

They only claid a portion of the opponent’s resources and rank points, though it would be enough to help Nysera and her island recover in ti.

Still, one thing was certain from this battle. Even though Nysera possessed an SS-Rank system ability, it was clear that the enemy she had faced this ti also held trendous potential. Strong enough to inflict such heavy damage despite being engulfed in her domain of eternal night.

Another battle!

The next confrontation started almost imdiately after the last one. But Atlas remained focused, carefully observing and ensuring that every plan and strategy they had prepared would unfold flawlessly.

No mistakes were allowed. Not even one.

Now it was Thryssia’s turn.

The girl stood tall on a high cliff, clad in heavy armor. Her short black hair frad a determined face, and in her hands, she held a massive war hamr that looked powerful enough to crush through a solid stronghold.

Around her stretched fields of lush green grass, and at the center of her floating island lay a vast, serene lake that mirrored the sky.

Tessa possessed the ability Law of Dominion, classified as SS-Rank. Yet Atlas was convinced, deep down, that this ability was far beyond that. Maybe closer to SSS-Rank in potential.

She could literally declare binding laws within the battlefield itself. Each law she invoked consud part of her personal essence or stored experience, but if used strategically and with precision... she could render an entire enemy army completely powerless.

The battle began, and almost imdiately, dozens. No, hundreds of swirling portals appeared. Not just around the outer edge of the island, but also high above in the sky.

Atlas tilted his head slightly, curious to see what would erge from them. Then, in a flash, they ca.

From the portals burst waves of troops equipped with advanced chanical gear. Sleek exoskeletal support systems that integrated seamlessly with their armor. The ground units marched out in formation, their every movent reinforced by glowing chanical joints and mana-powered servos.

anwhile, the air units descended using propeller gliders, allowing them to maneuver freely through the sky at impressive speeds.

Most of the enemy soldiers carried mana cannons or rifle-type weapons, their weapons humming with compressed energy ready to fire.

The enemy lord clearly possessed a system ability that enhanced technological synchronization, amplifying the precision, efficiency, and coordination of chanical-based units. In essence, their entire army functioned as a single unified machine.

Bolin let out a restrained laugh, turning toward Atlas with a smug grin. "Now, you’ll see just how overwhelming true numbers can be, Atlas!"

Atlas didn’t flinch. His gaze stayed firm, calmly assessing the sheer size of the opposing force. At least a thousand fully equipped combatants, all of them elite and ready to fight.

The enemy wasted no ti. The mont they landed, their formation tightened, and with roaring engines and synchronized shouts, they charged forward in a massive assault straight toward the center of the island, toward Tessa’s waiting army.

And then, Atlas raised both hands slowly, drawing Bolin’s attention back to him.

He stretched lazily to the right, then to the left, his expression utterly unbothered.

"Boring," he said.

Bolin froze, his expression twisting in disbelief at Atlas’s single word. Because right after Atlas said it... Sothing happened.

The enemy’s flying troops suddenly began to lose control. Their formations broke apart as one after another plumted from the sky. The propeller gliders spun wildly before crashing, and the ground forces stumbled, their movents faltering.

The chanical suits and mana-powered devices that had looked so advanced just monts ago... all went silent. Their systems completely shut down.

Atlas glanced at Bolin and smirked, a glint of amusent in his eyes.

Bolin hadn’t learned a thing.

On that night, Atlas had brought Tessa into his ranks, and with her ability, she had rendered Bolin’s army completely helpless, while Atlas attacked from above.

Maybe Bolin had misunderstood what Tessa’s Law of Dominion truly ant, thinking it only related to limiting the level of enemy troops. That was his mistake.

So, this ti, he had sent a lord commanding an enormous army. A thousand soldiers, but with average levels and heavily reliant on chanical systems.

And once again, he was wrong.

Because Tessa’s law didn’t just affect levels. It dictated rules.

With the enemy’s main forces now crippled, Tessa’s army surged forward.

The once mighty chanical army was now little more than helpless targets as the battle erupted below in a storm of power and steel.

Another easy victory?

Atlas watched the battle unfold carefully. Even without their chanical support systems, the enemy troops were still combatants, trained fighters who refused to surrender easily. They continued to fight fiercely, forcing Tessa’s forces to stay alert and focused.

The battlefield raged under Tessa’s control, but even so, destruction was unavoidable. Atlas could see death and chaos spreading across both sides as fire and steel clashed again and again. The sheer number of enemy soldiers still posed a challenge for Tessa, making it difficult to end the conflict quickly.

Eventually, however, the enemy lord raised the signal of surrender.

[Enemy Lord has surrendered after losing 32% of their total forces.]

Bolin’s face twisted in frustration. His hand clenched tightly, and for a brief mont, it looked like he was about to slam his fist into the virtual table between them.

Grinding his teeth, Bolin finally threw the last shining coin toward Atlas.

This would mark the next battle.

And this ti, it was Arveline’s turn, with her SS-Rank ability: King’s Rebirth.

Atlas’s expression shifted slightly, part anticipation, part excitent. He had been waiting for this one.

He truly wanted to see how Arveline would fight her battle. Because he knew sothing about her that made her army unlike any other.

Her soldiers didn’t fear death!
