Silas Sinclair and Shane Sinclair’s arrival signaled the imminent start of the eting, with all shareholders present. Silas’s chief secretary made a brief speech, then had his assistant present the stock transfer agreent for everyone to review.

After reading the agreent, the shareholders exchanged glances, but no one dared to speak up imdiately.

Evelyn Clayton also received a copy. She opened it and skimd through, noticing it contained the details about distributing shares to her.

May also leaned over for a look and barely stifled a gasp. Evelyn glanced at her, hinting with her eyes.

Winnie Wyatt, seated further behind May, couldn’t see the contents of the agreent and looked a bit agitated.

"We will try to keep today’s shareholders’ eting brief and not waste anyone’s ti." Shane Sinclair solemnly began, glancing at Evelyn, "Before the eting starts, let briefly introduce soone beside . This is Shannon Sinclair, the director of our new fashion design departnt, and also my sister."

As soon as he finished, there was an uproar among the audience.

Winnie Wyatt looked at Evelyn in shock, her expression quite dramatic.

May eagerly glanced at Winnie, feeling thoroughly pleased upon seeing her expression.

Once Shane’s words fell, Silas Sinclair also spoke calmly.

"Therefore, as my youngest daughter, Shannon has the right and obligation to join the board of The Apex Group. After deliberation with fellow board mbers Pauline Warren and Shane, we have decided to transfer a combined fifteen percent of shares to Shannon. Does anyone have any objections?"

The shareholders exchanged looks but were montarily speechless.

Silas seed quite satisfied and said a mont later, "Since there are no objections, let’s have the board’s new shareholder Shannon speak—"

Just as he finished speaking, a middle-aged man sitting second to Silas’s right suddenly raised his hand with a stern expression.

Silas looked over, his brow barely furrowing, "Blake, do you have sothing to say?"

Evelyn watched quietly, automatically matching the man’s face with a mory in her mind.

A few days ago, Shane had given her a list of board mbers, detailing all the shareholders. Evelyn had studied it closely, so she recognized the man in front of her.

His surna was Carter, Blake Carter, and he had been with Silas since the latter took over The Apex from his family, considered an "old hand."

Blake Carter’s brow was furrowed deeply, and his expression showed dissatisfaction, but his words remained gentle.

"Director Sinclair, you, Director Shane, and Director Pauline have made this decision without any expected objections from us, but I believe this matter should have been notified in advance at least. Fifteen percent of shares are no trivial matter."

After speaking, Blake instinctively glanced at Evelyn, his expression inscrutable and ambiguous.

But Evelyn could guess why Blake spoke up.

Because fifteen percent is not a small stake, and Blake’s shares amount to exactly fifteen percent.

If the agreent is formally signed today, Evelyn will officially beco his equal, becoming the largest shareholder aside from Silas and his imdiate family.

Hearing Blake’s words, Silas’s expression turned colder.

"Blake, I’m afraid I don’t need to notify anyone in advance about giving shares to my family daughter, do I?"

Silas’s tone was unpleasant, and Blake’s expression beca grim.

"Director Sinclair, I’ve been with you for over thirty years. Didn’t your youngest daughter pass away long ago? Where did this daughter co from?"
