"It doesn’t matter." Evelyn Clayton bit her lower lip, starting to think about where to add The Grant Group’s elents.
Jas Grant didn’t plan to push her too hard. "Since work is over, don’t think about it now. Can you give an improved version by tomorrow evening?"
"Sure, I’ll head back now." With that, she turned and left with the drawings.
Jas Grant watched her rush into the elevator and smiled helplessly.
After rushing back, Evelyn Clayton didn’t even eat and began revising the logo again and again.
She was determined to revise a logo that would satisfy Jas Grant and everyone else.
She originally planned to wait for Jas Grant to send soone to fetch the drawings but couldn’t wait to let him see her work, so she went directly to The Grant Group with the drawings.
Who knew the driver was so clueless, driving straight into The Grant Group’s parking lot.
She was too lazy to argue with the driver and just wanted to get upstairs quickly. As she reached the elevator entrance on the first basent floor, she saw a sticky and intimate couple.
It was Matthew Sullivan and Iris Lockwood again, entwined together, as if they wanted to rge on the spot, kissing passionately, the scene was just unsightly.
Evelyn Clayton raised an eyebrow mockingly, deliberately clearing her throat.
The two of them imdiately went pale with fright.
As soon as he saw Evelyn Clayton, Matthew Sullivan quickly pushed Iris Lockwood away.
"Evelyn, don’t misunderstand. It’s not what you think!"
The elevator door opened, and Evelyn Clayton didn’t give him any ti to explain, striding in.
Iris Lockwood sensed the bad situation and quickly turned to leave.
Just as the elevator door was about to close, Matthew Sullivan managed to stop it.
"Evelyn, listen to explain!"
Evelyn Clayton chuckled lightly, "Matthew Sullivan, I’m not blind. Since you two are so inseparable, I’ll let you have each other. No need to send an invitation to the wedding; I find it disgusting."
Matthew Sullivan grew anxious, grabbing her arm and pleading.
"Evelyn, don’t say that. You’re the only one I want to marry. I don’t care about anyone else, only you! Iris was clinging to earlier, threatening to kill herself. I couldn’t just watch her die in front of , right?"
Listening to such ridiculous lies, Evelyn Clayton remained expressionless, crossing her arms.
"Evelyn, tell , what can I do to make you forgive ? Whatever it is, I’ll do it."
At this point, Matthew Sullivan disregarded everything else, wanting to stabilize Evelyn Clayton as quickly as possible.
Upon hearing this, a trace of slyness flashed in Evelyn Clayton’s eyes, curling her lips, "So, whatever I say, you’ll do, right?"
"Yes!"
"Then cut ties with Iris Lockwood. If I catch you once, our engagent is imdiately void."
This request was extrely strict, but Matthew Sullivan had no choice but to agree no matter what.
"Okay. I promise you."
Evelyn Clayton’s attitude softened slightly, giving Matthew Sullivan great hope.
He hovered around Evelyn Clayton like a little puppy wagging its tail, "Evelyn, want to co to my office for a bit? I can get you so coffee?"
"No. I’m here for work."
Besides, she preferred tea to coffee.
The thought of tea reminded her of the cup she had at Jas Grant’s house – sweet, rich, and unforgettable.
It was the sa brand she usually bought, but sohow different.
Later when she saw Jas Grant, she might as well ask him where he bought it.
Just as she reached Jas Grant’s office door, she saw him coming out.
"You’re here so early?" Jas Grant patted her shoulder. "I have a eting to go to now, so wait for a bit. Your office has been arranged by Quentin Hale."
"Alright."
Evelyn Clayton’s office wasn’t far from Jas Grant’s, filled with the most comfortable furniture, and even the potted plants were newly bought.
"Director Clayton, if you need anything, let know. Also, this brand of tea is stocked in the pantry, so feel free to have more if you like."
Evelyn Clayton assud Jas Grant prepared this much tea to ensure she cooperated with work.
She nodded at Quentin Hale, "Thank you for your efforts."
"Director Grant rembered you love this tea and specifically instructed to buy it," Quentin Hale subtly hinted with a cough.
Evelyn Clayton pondered for a mont, then suddenly looked up, "Is this Jas Grant’s way?"
