Keith Donovan couldn’t hold back any longer.
He pushed the door open and glared at Jas Grant.
Jas Grant frowned slightly.
But before he could speak, Keith Donovan began firing back, "Have you lost your mind? Did the Aethelburg breeze turn you into an idiot?"
Seeing Jas Grant silent, Keith Donovan grew even angrier and shouted, "Just say it, is it because of Evelyn Clayton!"
Jas Grant glanced at Keith Donovan, his attitude very calm, "Yes."
Seeing him so straightforward in admitting it, Keith Donovan was both angry and amused, "You’re really honest, huh? You’re not even pretending with , are you?"
"No need, why pretend?" Jas Grant retorted, "I want to stay here until she is willing to forgive , willing to—"
Return to his side again.
But Jas Grant kept this last part in his heart.
Because even Jas Grant himself couldn’t be sure, even if Evelyn Clayton truly forgave him, whether she would be willing to be with him again.
After all, those are two different things.
Keith Donovan was almost driven insane, but faced with Jas Grant’s calmness, he knew that losing his mind would be of no use.

Keith Donovan’s expression was as if struck by lightning.

After a long ti, Keith Donovan laughed out of anger.
"Alright, alright." Keith Donovan waved his hand, "You defeated . Your love is truly great, fine."
Saying that, Keith Donovan stood up to leave.
At this mont, Jas Grant suddenly spoke from behind—
"Hey Keith, do you know why you’ve never been able to win Lynn Yates over?"
Keith Donovan suddenly stopped in his tracks and turned back with an unfathomable expression, looking at Jas Grant, "What did you say?"
Jas Grant’s expression remained indifferent, leisurely watching Keith Donovan.
After a long ti, Keith Donovan’s eyes grew complex.
Seeing this, Jas Grant continued, "It’s because you’ve never truly loved soone."
Keith Donovan acted as if he had heard the greatest joke.
"So, is that why I’ve committed so grave cri?"
Jas Grant lowered his gaze and spoke indifferently, "Of course not. I haven’t finished—what I an is, you never truly love others, but you hope that others love you sincerely. How can there be such easy things in the world? Making sure you succeed every ti?"
Keith Donovan couldn’t help but think of Lynn Yates.
To be honest, Lynn Yates is the favorite person he’s t so far in his life of eting and loving one after another.
It’s funny to say, but Keith Donovan felt that he really put a lot of effort into pursuing Lynn Yates, using all the "invincible" tricks he had used to chase other girls on her.
But the effect was minimal.
Keith Donovan always thought it was Lynn Yates’ high standards.
Even thought maybe Lynn Yates looked down on his background and ability.
But he never thought it could be the possibility Jas Grant ntioned.
