Iris Lockwood’s expression instantly turned excited, "Really? It’s Nadia?! Oh my god, that’s Laprite, luxury goods!!"
"Don’t get too excited just yet." Evelyn Clayton hastily controlled her volu, "I said it’s a proposal, it hasn’t been officially approved yet."
Iris couldn’t hide her excitent, "That’s great too! It ans our Nadia has really made it!!"
Yara Reagan caught the key point, "Ivy, the spokesperson for Laprite, is an international model, and she was chosen by you before, and your relationship has always been good. If they suddenly change, will they be happy over there?"
Evelyn raised an eyebrow, "There’s nothing I can do about it, I can’t control this matter. Vice Director Wyatt is doing very well in the design departnt now, so I have to avoid the lilight."
Yara understood, "She sidelined you?"
"It’s getting there." Evelyn chuckled, "But this is also good, less trouble. And if Nadia is really chosen in the end, it benefits us, doesn’t it?"
Iris emphatically agreed, "Exactly! And why wouldn’t our Nadia be as good as a model? Our Nadia is so beautiful!"
"It’s not that she’s not beautiful, it’s just that it’s a tough position for Evelyn." Yara sighed helplessly and then asked, "But, does Winnie Wyatt know about Nadia’s relationship with us?"
Evelyn chuckled softly, "If she knew, even if it’s suitable, she probably wouldn’t choose this proposal."
"Got it." Yara nudged Iris with her elbow, "Otherwise, why don’t you call Nadia in the next few days and have her co over? Find a way to participate in a couple of events in Aethelburg and make an appearance."
Yara kept it simple, Evelyn needed to continue working at Apex, and she couldn’t let Winnie continue developing unchecked. She needed to find another way to make Winnie less aggressive.
"Sure, sure." Iris pretended to make a call, "This is all small stuff."
Evelyn stopped her from making the call.
"No hurry on that. In a little over half a month, there’s going to be a stockholder eting at Apex, and I have to attend. The proposal will be voted on at the stockholders’ eting, and I’ll have a chance to exert so influence."
Evelyn said with a smile, "Besides, I don’t intend to contest with Winnie Wyatt. Apex is soon going to establish a new fashion design departnt, and I plan to pioneer that."
Yara frowned slightly, "Are you serious about this? It’s not sothing that can be done just like that."
"It also depends on what Shane Sinclair thinks." Evelyn waved her hand, "Let’s not talk about it anymore. I’ll share the latest news with you when I have it. Weren’t we going to buy clothes and toys for Sharon? Let’s go."
The group quickly agreed and got up to leave the café.
After shopping in the mall for nearly two hours, they were all carrying lots of bags.
However, most of what Evelyn was carrying were items for Sharon; she only bought a pair of shoes and a bag for herself.
Having carried all they could, the three were about to head ho.
Just as they got in the car, Shane Sinclair’s call ca in.
Evelyn then rembered she had agreed with Shane to talk after discussing with Jas Grant.
She answered the phone, but Shane’s voice was heavy.
"Evelyn, Sharon has been in an accident."
Evelyn’s expression changed abruptly, "What?"
"I’m on the way to the second hospital now. The school’s teacher said Sharon fell from the grandstand and lost consciousness on the spot. She’s already been taken to the hospital for treatnt."
Evelyn, with a pale complexion, hung up the phone and, without saying a word, drove urgently to the hospital.
