After hanging up the phone, Yara Reagan and Iris Lockwood remained silent for a long ti.

The sa question lingered in both their minds.

How did Lynn Yates find out?

And why did Lynn Yates suddenly want to rekindle the arranged marriage with Jas Grant?

Completely puzzled, Yara dialed Violet Ford’s number.

This was the first call Yara made since the incident and Violet picked up quickly.

"Yara—" Violet’s voice was unexpectedly tense, "How did it go?"

"I t with Jas Grant," Yara got straight to the point, "Just ca out, received a call from Lynn Yates. She knows Evelyn is back and is aware that Jas Grant has taken her away and locked her up. She wants to team up with ."

The stream of information took even the always calm and rational Violet a few minutes to process.

After a while, Violet asked, "What did Jas Grant say? How did Lynn Yates find out?"

"From Jas Grant’s side, there probably won’t be any news for the ti being, as he is still caught up in it. As for Lynn Yates, if I knew how she got the information, I wouldn’t be asking you now."

Violet was quiet for a mont, her tone slightly irritated, "Do you suspect ?"

"I’m not suspecting you; it’s just that neither Iris Lockwood nor I could have told Lynn Yates. It’s even less likely that Jas Grant would have actively gone to Lynn Yates. Who do you think it could be?" Yara expressed her doubts frankly, "Of course, if it really is you, there’s nothing I could do about it."

This genuinely irritated Violet, "Yara, even speculation has its limits. My relationship with Lynn Yates is just ordinary, and you’ve always been the one handling the business with her, so why would I specifically tell her about Evelyn?"

Yara fell silent for three seconds, "So who do you think could have told her?"

Realizing that Yara was just testing, Violet’s remaining anger was clear, her voice taut, "I don’t know. Didn’t you say she wanted to partner with you? Why would she collaborate with you?"

"She said she wants to restore the marriage alliance with Jas Grant because of this. That’s why I wanted to ask you if you’ve heard any rumors about the Yates and Grant families."

Violet thought for a long ti before slowly speaking, "Now that you ntion it, I did hear sothing. It was said that Harrison Grant wanted Jasper Grant to marry Lynn Yates while arranging for Matthew Sullivan to marry Clara Yates. But it seems that this matter was just chatted about privately between the Yates and Grant families."

Yara pondered, "If it was really just discussed, it’s unlikely any rumors would surface."

"You’re right," Violet said seriously, "It seems that the Grant and Yates families really do have this plan. That would also explain Lynn Yates’s side—she doesn’t want to marry Jasper Grant, so she wants to revive the marriage contract with Jas Grant."

After saying this, Violet paused and then continued, "Alright, let look into this matter properly. I’ll get back to you by noon tomorrow at the latest. How does that sound?"

Yara’s eyelashes drooped, and after a mont, she responded, "Okay, thank you, Sister Violet."

The other side seed to sigh softly and then replied that it was nothing before hanging up the phone.

Putting away her phone, Yara drove towards her place.

Having been silent, Iris suddenly spoke up.

"Did you have a disagreent with Sister Violet?"

Yara’s eyes flickered uneasily, "Why do you ask?"

"It feels like the way you two talked was different from before," Iris murmured softly, "Is it because of Franklin Ford?"
