This ti, Franklin Ford was silent for a long while before saying, "There’s a rumor that secret etings are held regularly inside The Autumnwind Villa, attended only by the wealthy and powerful, and the transactions conducted there are... not exactly above board."

Franklin hesitated, but Violet Ford and Evelyn Clayton already had a pretty good understanding.

"So, is it almost ti for a eting at The Autumnwind Villa?" Violet furrowed her brow, "How long do these etings usually last?"

Franklin frowned, "So say five days, others say seven, but in any case, it doesn’t end in just one day."

Evelyn’s brow moved slightly, "Is there any way to infiltrate it?"

The mont these words were spoken, both siblings from The Ford Family showed subtle changes in their expressions.

Franklin’s expression beca grave, "Are you suggesting..."

"If we could sneak in and figure out what’s really happening inside..." Evelyn spoke hesitantly, "I want to et Arthur Chandler."

That face from her mory appeared once again in front of her eyes, making Evelyn feel that she was getting very, very close to the truth.

"It’s too risky." Franklin took a deep breath, "I don’t recomnd doing that."

Violet added solemnly, "Yeah, Evelyn. That kind of place is not sowhere you can just go; no one knows what kind of dirty and sordid things are going on inside."

Evelyn said nothing more, rely lowering her eyes, lost in thought.

"Why don’t you co back from Y Province first?" Franklin said in a deep voice, "There are still opportunities to arrange another visit with Lars Alden; this isn’t the only chance."

Without hesitation, Evelyn refused, "No, this ti I must see him."

Violet wanted to say sothing, but Evelyn spoke first, "I’ll be heading over tomorrow morning. This trip can’t go to waste; I have a lot to ask Lars Alden, and I also need to find out more from Lily Warren... In short, I’ve already decided."

Seeing that they couldn’t persuade her, Violet could only sigh, "Evelyn, you’re always determined. If you insist on doing this, I can only hope you stay safe and return unhard."

Franklin said nothing more. He appeared calm, but the furrow in his brow revealed his inner conflict and anxiety.

After hanging up the video call, Evelyn contacted Gene Young.

In the afternoon, Gene Young ca back, and Evelyn told him about the strange call she received. Then the two began to discuss counterasures.

"The worst-case scenario now is that soone is following us." Evelyn pulled up a map of Y Province from the Internet and located the area where they were, "The hotel we’re staying at is very close to where Lars Alden is held, but also not far from several clothing factories. Instead of trying to find those tracking us, we might as well devise a way to mislead them."

"Even if they suspect I’m going to see Lars Alden, they’ll have no way to stop ."

Gene’s expression changed slightly, "So, what’s your plan?"

"Tomorrow before dawn, you and I will move out to this clothing factory. Then we’ll find a way to leave through another exit and take this route."

Evelyn enlarged the map and pointed to the route on it.

Gene looked carefully and nodded, "It might work."

Evelyn chuckled softly, a chilling edge in her voice, "If soone truly is following us, they won’t be able to enter the factory, or they would reveal themselves. Their only goal in tracking us is to prevent us from eting Lars Alden; otherwise, this pursuit is pointless."

"What we need to do is get the information in our hands, then figure out a way to leave Y Province."

Gene’s eyes focused slightly.

"And if we can’t get out—"

Evelyn took a deep breath, "Then we’ll split up. I’ll distract them."

Gene abruptly turned to her, "You... Do you realize the consequences of doing this?"

If soone indeed was following them, the likelihood of leaving Y Province again was slim to none.
