"I never had a choice." Evelyn’s gaze blurred for a mont, "I just want to say that since our relationship is dood to have no outco, it’s better to value the present. So, I won’t interfere with your affairs too much, and I hope you can do the sa."
After saying this, there was silence on Jas Grant’s end for a long ti.
After so ti, Jas Grant laughed mockingly.
"Fine, fine... Evelyn Clayton, you said it."
Jas Grant hung up the phone.
Evelyn Clayton closed her eyes wearily.
At this mont, she really wished she could just fall asleep and never wake up again.

Upon hearing this, even Violet beca interested, "The Chandler Family is usually low-key, claiming noble ancestry, and is quite prominent in Aethelburg. Who would dare to gossip about them?"
"The bigger the family, the more dirt they hide beneath." Franklin said, his usually calm and cold gaze turning sharpened, "In the early years, the Chandler Family was involved in many gray industries. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say they operated both legally and illegally. Now that Arthur Chandler has beco the head of the Chandler Family, many assets have been cleaned up, but if the authorities seriously investigated, their family wouldn’t stand up to scrutiny."
Evelyn and Violet had a limited understanding of the Chandler Family and were waiting for Franklin to continue.
Franklin paused for a mont and continued, "Do you know who Arthur Chandler’s wife is?"
Evelyn searched her mind for a while and gradually recalled, "Is she the one—"
"The heir of the Aethelburg princely clique." Franklin said lightly, "The eldest daughter of the Wang Family."
As these words fell, there was a deathly silence in the video chat room.
Even though Violet and Evelyn didn’t know much about the low-key, wealthiest family, the Chandler Family, they knew a bit about the Wang Family in Aethelburg.
After all, the mbers of this family often appeared in the news, and the old master of the Wang Family was extraordinary, a founding hero level figure.
Even though The Ford Family was considered one of the top families in Riversend, a representative of high society, they were no match for the Wang Family.

"Arthur Chandler is the president of The rchants’ Guild. His main power is in Aethelburg and Aeridor, so why would he have a villa in Eldridge? As far as I know, Eldridge isn’t wealthy and lacks many aspects... What exactly is the purpose of such a villa being placed there?"
