After hanging up, Evelyn Clayton remained motionless for a long ti.

Impatiently, Yara Reagan urged, "So, what did she say?"

"Lynn Yates said she didn’t know." Evelyn Clayton rubbed her forehead, suppressing the urge to call Keith Donovan and Tristan Hawthorne to ask, her mind a chaotic ss.

Yara Reagan sighed, "If you ask , Jas Grant definitely left the Grant Family because of you."

Evelyn Clayton didn’t speak and instead looked up the online posts about Jas Grant leaving the Grant Family.

The news never made it to the hot search list, indicating soone’s effort to suppress it, yet its popularity was incredibly high, almost catching up to the buzz of Evelyn Clayton and Yara Reagan’s fashion show day.

After skimming through a few comnts, Evelyn Clayton’s brows furrowed tighter.

Seeing this, Yara Reagan leaned over to look too.

[This second-generation rich kid sure has guts.]

[For the person above, he’s not so second-gen rich kid; the Grant Family is multiple generations of wealth—true aristocracy.]

[Just how many generations is it? Can anyone tell ?]

[Doesn’t matter how many generations, I know one thing: wealth doesn’t last beyond three generations; anyone who manages that must be remarkable.]

Yara Reagan couldn’t help but snicker, "These people are so idle, discussing so many posts over such trivial matters?"

Evelyn Clayton said nothing and continued scrolling.

The comnts below grew increasingly sharp.

[If you ask , this Eldest Young Master Grant is really quite reckless. From what I know, the Grant Family’s Atlas Group isn’t as strong as it used to be, yet he insists on leaving his dad to go solo—what’s his aim? Proving his capability?]

[The comnt above is a bit harsh, and it’s a matter for the Grant father and son. Who are you, a ddler, to point fingers?]

Yara Reagan chuckled at that.

Evelyn Clayton’s fingers kept scrolling.

[I agree on the recklessness point. The young master is unaware of life’s hardships, simply wants to prove himself, but unknowingly that’s akin to asking why not eat minced at? Wouldn’t it be better to take over the group smoothly under his father’s wing?]

Seeing this, Yara Reagan couldn’t help herself.

With a helpless smile, she remarked, "This one sounds like Harrison Grant hired Internet trolls to spread."

Evelyn Clayton set down her phone, silent.

Yara Reagan watched her for a long ti, then moved to sit beside Evelyn Clayton and said, "So, Evelyn, do you think there’s still a chance between you and Jas Grant? I an, if he leaves the Grant Family and doesn’t go ahead with his arranged marriage with Lynn Yates?"

Evelyn Clayton turned to look at Yara Reagan, and after a while, shifted her gaze away.

Honestly, Evelyn couldn’t answer Yara Reagan’s question; she didn’t know herself.

"Co on, don’t think too much." Yara Reagan stopped asking further, taking a deep breath, "Anyhow, Jas Grant hasn’t approached you yet, which ans the situation isn’t that bad."

Evelyn Clayton gradually cald down.

"Blood is thicker than water," Evelyn Clayton said slowly, "Whatever Harrison Grant does, he won’t really abandon Jas Grant. This is just a way to teach Jas a lesson to make him compliant."

Yara Reagan nodded in agreent, "I think so too. So no need to worry too much for now? No matter what happens, Jas Grant won’t be finished by his dad."

Evelyn Clayton set down her phone, fully composed, "Get Rhys Jacobs to notify a eting. Let’s not think about this matter for now."

Yara Reagan grinned widely, showing her teeth, "Sweetie, I love your ’money talks, feelings don’t’ attitude!"

Evelyn Clayton couldn’t hold back a laugh.

Thinking for a mont, she said seriously, "Still, that old saying holds true; if there’s no love, there better be money, right?"
