Yara Reagan spoke while carrying bags and packages, twisting her body inside, and kicking the door shut with her foot.

She turned her eyes to see Jas Grant in the kitchen, and Yara was imdiately stupefied, dropping everything she held with a clang.

By the ti Evelyn Clayton ca out of the bedroom, the entrance was already a ss.

Yara almost thought she was seeing things, looking at Jas Grant, then at Evelyn Clayton, her face a mix of shock and confusion.

Evelyn Clayton covered her face, feeling a headache: "I say it’s a coincidence, do you believe it?"

Ten minutes later, Yara was sitting on the left side of the sofa, Jas Grant on the right, and Evelyn Clayton on the lazy sofa across from them.

The trio sat like a tripod, with different thoughts.

"Ahem, are you two hungry?" Evelyn Clayton couldn’t stand the strange atmosphere anymore and took the lead in breaking the ice.

Yara scratched her hand and then her face.

She’s probably the most embarrassed one...

"Uh, I bought a lot of food, should we eat so first?" Yara opened one of the bags she brought and dumped it on the coffee table.

Jas Grant took one look and felt a headache.

The table was mostly covered with snacks, though they were all expensive, imported snacks.

But imported biscuits were still biscuits, with little nutritional value.

Jas Grant stood up with a stiff face, picked up and sorted through the items on the table, packed most of them back into the bag, tied it up, and placed it on the kitchen counter.

Yara quickly stopped him: "What are you doing?"

"She’s not suitable for eating these right now, there’s no nutrition," Jas Grant glanced at her, "Are you here to take care of her?"

His words clearly carried an air of distrust and disdain.

Yara, unwilling to back down, argued reasonably: "I intended for Evelyn to eat them after she recovers!"

Jas Grant glanced at Evelyn Clayton, with a strange expression that seed to doubt Evelyn’s self-control.

Evelyn Clayton felt inexplicably awkward and retorted sarcastically: "What do you an? It’s not like I lack self-control..."

As soon as the words left her mouth, Evelyn regretted it.

What she said felt like she was whining to Jas Grant.

Sure enough, the smile in Jas Grant’s eyes deepened, and he seed in a better mood.

"Want to eat sothing else? I can cook," the gloom in Jas Grant’s heart was swept away.

He sohow felt like this place was more like ho than the Grant Family old residence.

Yara looked at the two with gossiping eyes, shining with hidden excitent.

Evelyn Clayton’s cheeks burned, and she quickly said, "Yara, didn’t you say you had sothing important to tell before you ca?"

Seeing Evelyn not responding to him, Jas Grant slightly frowned, a hint of disappointnt and displeasure flashing past.

But he held back from speaking, instead indifferently looking at Yara.

As soon as this was ntioned, Yara appeared excited, no longer caring about being a bystander.

"Right, right, right. I ca to tell you our exhibition was super successful! Now several companies want to collaborate with us!"

Speaking of which, Yara eagerly dug through her bag for partnership intention letters, placing a thick pile lavishly on the coffee table.

"I’ve filtered through these once, and the remaining ones are reputed in the industry, wealthy and uncomplicated!" Yara grinned cheekily, seeking credit, "Now we need the big boss to decide which ones to proceed with."

Upon hearing this, Evelyn Clayton’s fatigue vanished, replaced by keen energy.

She moved beside Yara, the two huddling into the sofa and began selecting and reviewing.

Jas Grant was left alone on the side, slightly biting his lip.

A mont later, Jas Grant stepped forward and took the contract from Evelyn’s hands.

Jas Grant slightly settled his face and locked eyes with Evelyn Clayton, "You’re not fully recovered yet, it’s not suitable for you to work."
