For Jas, the profit might not even be enough to fill the gap between his teeth, but it was enough for their studio to eat for a while.

Evelyn Clayton looked Jas up and down several tis, but didn’t speak.

"What? Not willing?" Jas smiled indifferently, "Then I’ll let another studio handle it."

"Why wouldn’t I do it? Who would turn down money?" Evelyn assud he was compensating for the Cindy Owens incident.

Jas nodded, tapping his slender fingers on the table, "I’ll have my driver deliver the docunts later."

"No need, just send them to online."

Jas helplessly curled his lips into a soft smile, realizing Evelyn was determined to draw a clear line.

Seeing Jas had more to discuss with Evelyn, Yara Reagan volunteered, "I’ll go buy so drinks, do you want any?"

"No need." Evelyn and Jas replied in unison.

Stifling her laughter, Yara didn’t forget to take Quentin Hale with her, leaving the two of them alone.

Evelyn really wanted to ignore Jas, but his presence was too strong, like a mountain intimidatingly standing in front of her.

"Evelyn, I mishandled the Cindy Owens situation, I’m sorry—"

Evelyn interrupted him, her eyes cold and piercing, "Are you planning to apologize, then take to a fancy dinner, and give a bunch of red roses, so this whole thing never happened, right?"

Obviously, for a playboy like Jas, an apology would be nothing more than this.

"Ahem," Jas kept his smile, "That was the original plan. But now it seems it’s unnecessary."

"Don’t waste your efforts, the contract termination is non-negotiable."

Jas’s smile gradually faded, "Alright, if you insist on terminating the contract, I’ll respect your decision. When will you give the thirty million?"

"What thirty million?" Evelyn looked at him in shock.

"Unilateral termination of the contract requires a thirty million compensation. It’s clearly stated in the contract."

"Seems like you don’t rember, no worries, I brought the contract." Jas smiled, handing her a stack of docunts.

Taking the contract, Evelyn flipped directly to the penalty terms on the last page.

It clearly stated—

The party requesting termination must compensate the other party thirty million.

Damn it, how did she miss this clause at the ti!

Furious, her slender fingers crumpled the contract.

Jas "kindly" reminded her, "Don’t crush the contract, though if it gets ruined, that’s fine. This is a copy, the original is in my office."

Insidious! Despicable!

Evelyn glared at Jas.

"The contract was sothing you prepared a long ti ago, right? Otherwise, how could you have produced it so quickly that morning? You really went to great lengths to dig this pit, absolutely calculating, Eldest Young Master Grant!"

Jas did not deny it.

"Indeed, I put so thought into it, but having you is worth it."

Jas candidly admitted.

Evelyn furiously searched around, trying to find sothing to throw at him, but found nothing.

Jas reminded her again, "You have a mouse by your hand. But if you smash that mouse, you won’t be able to work anymore."

"You’re overthinking it, I usually have two mice ready. One for work, one for smashing people."

Saying this, Evelyn really went to unplug the mouse cord.

But Jas was quick, grasping her wrist, his large hand brushing against her tender skin, sending goosebumps all over her.

"Let go!"

"I’m really sorry for what happened before, as compensation, you may add another condition to the contract, how about that?"

Evelyn raised an eyebrow, "Any condition?"

"Any."

"Is there a ti limit?"

"None."

Evelyn hesitated for a mont, considering whether Jas was again trying to trick her this ti.

"Don’t worry. I won’t trick you this ti."
