"Heather Donovan, is this a threat?" Evelyn Clayton sneered, "Do you know about the cri of extortion?"

Heather Donovan snorted coldly, "What makes you say I’m extorting? Keith Donovan being at the car accident scene is a solid fact! If you’re not satisfied, then I’ll call the police! Let’s see who they believe!"

Evelyn Clayton silently bit her lip, almost tasting the faint tallic flavor of blood.

She worked hard to sound indifferent, "Go ahead, call the police. What does it have to do with ?"

Heather Donovan was sowhat furious, "Do you really not care? Evelyn Clayton, don’t forget! Keith Donovan has a close relationship with Jas Grant. If I sue them with these photos, imagine how much impact Jas Grant will face!"

Evelyn Clayton’s eyes turned dark, and she didn’t respond.

Heather Donovan grew more agitated, with a determination of mutual destruction, "Or do you think I don’t dare? Let tell you, if anything happens to Sumr, none of you will have it easy!"

"I said." Evelyn Clayton raised an eyebrow, concealing her inner panic, "I have no relation with Jas Grant, and even less with Keith Donovan! You do whatever you want; no one is stopping you."

With that, Evelyn Clayton hung up the phone.

At that mont, she heard Heather Donovan let out a low laugh.

"Evelyn Clayton, don’t think I don’t know. Lynn Yates is engaged to Jas Grant, you pretend not to care, acting as if you’re at odds with Jas Grant... After I sue, do you know what will happen?"

"I heard Jas Grant has just poached my daughter’s business partner, but Tim Young is no good person. If any publicity issue arises with Jas Grant during this critical collaboration, guess what Tim Young will do?"

Evelyn Clayton’s hand started to tremble slightly.

Anger and reluctance tightly gripped her.

She thought about last night, Jas Grant’s reckless deanor, and his hesitant, worried expression when he left this morning concerned about her.

Evelyn Clayton wanted to compromise within her heart.

She couldn’t do it, couldn’t remain unaffected.

Finally, Evelyn Clayton painfully and quietly asked, "I’ll be at the hospital in half an hour."

Half an hour later, Evelyn Clayton successfully arrived at the hospital.

Heather Donovan had been waiting for so ti and sneered disdainfully upon seeing Evelyn Clayton, then took her to et Sumr Monroe’s attending physician.

Having learned that Evelyn Clayton was there to donate blood, the attending physician casually praised her a few tis, and then took her to fill out forms.

After a simple check, Evelyn Clayton donated blood, pressed a cotton swab to her elbow, and walked out of the clinic.

Heather Donovan, who had been waiting for a long ti, felt a sense of relief.

A fleeting mont of softness appeared on her tense face, as if she was finally assured of her daughter’s safety.

Evelyn Clayton looked at her coldly and suddenly spoke.

"Heather Donovan, let’s talk."

After a mont of hesitation, Heather Donovan nodded.

The two walked out of the hospital building and sat side by side on a long bench at the entrance.

"I suppose Harrison Grant has already spoken to you, and now you’ve reached a breaking point." Evelyn Clayton looked at the needle marks on her forearm, let out a mocking laugh, "Providing your blood for free for so long, tell one truthful thing."

Heather Donovan looked at Evelyn Clayton warily, then spoke, "What do you want to know? Let be clear; all along, when Sumr got sick and needed blood, it was Harrison Grant who voluntarily sent your blood over for us to use."

"I didn’t force him."

Evelyn Clayton was expressionless, "I realize that. I just want to ask you one thing."

"You have a close relationship with Harrison Grant, so you must know sothing about my family’s affairs... What exactly happened in my parents’ accident?"
