The assistant kept their head down, coffee trickling from their hair down to their neck, without daring to move.
Sumr’s anger was not easily abated; her defeat stemd from a lack of information.
With this realization, she suddenly looked at her assistant and asked, "Who approved Franklin’s affiliation status?"
