"No problem," Evelyn Clayton replied. "If you’re busy, I can go to The Ford Group to have a face-to-face talk with you."
The other party replied with an "ok".
Better early than late, Evelyn Clayton tidied up a bit, and took a taxi to The Ford Group.
As soon as she entered the lobby, she locked eyes with Sumr Monroe who was coming towards her.
In the spirit of avoiding unnecessary trouble, Evelyn Clayton stepped back and turned towards another elevator.
"What’s she doing at The Ford Group?" muttered Sumr Monroe, pivoting in place.
Her assistant, having heard so rumors, cautiously said, "Young Master Ford has set up a design departnt and is collaborating with Miss Clayton. I heard they’ve already taken several orders."
Even more capable than the design departnt at The Ford Group’s headquarters.
"Franklin Ford is taking private jobs behind my back?" You had to admit, Sumr Monroe had a knack for hitting the nail on the head.
Assistant: "..."
If you insist on putting it that way, it’s not wrong.
"Are the paynts going through the company’s accounts?"
The assistant replied, "No. Young Master Ford is rely using the company’s space. The rest of the resources and employees are all recruited by him from outside, not The Ford Group employees."
Given this premise and Franklin Ford’s unique status, other departnt heads turned a blind eye.
But the assistant didn’t know that the company’s board was observing Franklin Ford.
As long as he could achieve so decent accomplishnts, they would extend an olive branch.
Upon hearing this, Sumr Monroe shot her assistant a sideways glance, a mocking smile on her lips.
"Franklin Ford is just a small employee at The Ford Group now. If we open this precedent for him, what if others want to imitate him? Will The Ford Group still progress?"
The assistant held his tongue.
Not expecting an answer, Sumr Monroe pivoted on her heel and headed to Franklin Ford’s office.
At that mont, Evelyn Clayton was discussing the second version of the design plan with Franklin Ford.
"The client wants the colors to be more youthful. This requires special attention. The skin tone in the previous version was a bit too somber."
The client was a gaming company, and Franklin Ford’s newly ford design departnt had been tasked with designing a new skin for a ga character.
Given the relatively young audience and holiday activities, this requirent was highlighted in bold.
Evelyn Clayton took notes, opened the color palette, and compared the materials provided by the client, selecting a few sets of colors to send to Yara Reagan for reference later.
It was then that Sumr Monroe entered.
She raised her hand and knocked on the door a few tis, capturing the attention of both individuals in the room.
"Oh, Sister Monroe is here," Franklin Ford’s face briefly flashed with annoyance, but as he stood up, it transford into a friendly smile, appearing as if there were never any disagreents between the sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
Evelyn Clayton watched the drama unfold from the sidelines.
Sumr Monroe was here for Franklin Ford, to put it bluntly, it was a good chance to assess an ally’s capabilities.
Would Franklin be cowed by Sumr or continue to dig deeper from under her feet? His response would reveal his approach.
Sumr Monroe leisurely walked to the center sofa, watching as Franklin Ford served her water and tea, her head tilted in leisure.
"I heard you’ve been taking private jobs?"
Franklin Ford greeted her with a smile, happy to play along with the show.
Her voice was laced with hooks as she spoke; as she eyed him, her gaze was sultry, and her skirt crept upward as she crossed her legs, revealing her fair, voluptuous thighs.
Evelyn Clayton raised an eyebrow, feeling a bit inferior.
Franklin Ford was quite the gentleman, keeping his eyes where they belonged, not glancing where he shouldn’t.
