Evelyn Clayton stiffened as she held the fork, feeling a bit awkward for a mont.

"Director Clayton, you don’t seem to know your fiancé very well."

Jas Grant’s eyelids relaxed as he watched her montary embarrassnt with interest.

The smirk on his lips was particularly infuriating.

"Miss Clayton, although you have already set the engagent with Matthew Sullivan, mutual understanding is the most important thing. Since you’ve decided to marry Matthew, you should take care to live in peace and show more concern for him, without letting others down."

As she spoke, Lynn Yates looped her arm around Jas Grant’s.

The words seed to be considerate of her, yet there was a significant implication of declaring sovereignty.

After all, it was a warning to her—since she had broken up with Jas Grant, she shouldn’t dream of getting back together.

Evelyn Clayton had a stunningly intense face, and even without makeup, her features carried a faint sense of aggression.

The mont her long, almond-shaped eyes lifted, a chilling sense of pressure followed.

Evelyn Clayton sneered coldly, "Really? So, Miss Yates believes she has captured Director Grant?"

"A union between wealthy families is perfectly normal, so there’s no talk of ’capturing.’ However, Jas is indeed a good choice. I am career-driven, and he is capable; we can greatly support each other at work. In life, I can be an excellent wife, taking care of Jas’s diet and daily needs. Thus, this marriage is all benefits without any harm."

Lynn Yates’s smile was gentle, but her words were powerful.

Conversely, Jas Grant maintained an air of calm and indifference.

Evelyn Clayton’s face was already as cold as could be, but suddenly a familiar voice sounded behind her—

"Evelyn, have you been waiting too long? I’m so sorry, my stomach has been acting up, so I won’t eat. You go ahead; I’ll just accompany you."

Matthew Sullivan returned to the table, full of apology.

Saying this, he picked up a small piece of cake, pretending to feed it to her.

Evelyn Clayton indifferently pushed him away, her eyes coldly glaring at the botherso person in front of her, "I’m full, let’s go."

She picked up her bag and stood up, striding away boldly.

Matthew Sullivan glanced at the untouched food.

Full already?

Before he had a chance to pack it, he called out Evelyn Clayton’s na and chased after her.

He chased all the way to the company entrance, where Evelyn Clayton suddenly stopped.

Matthew Sullivan hurried to catch up, panting heavily.

But then he heard her unexpectedly ask, "Is your stomach better now? If you can’t eat, don’t force yourself."

Matthew Sullivan was montarily stunned, then realized Evelyn Clayton was concerned about his health, and imdiately nodded excitedly.

"No worries, as long as it’s fed by you, even poison I can swallow."

Evelyn Clayton clicked her tongue lightly.

Gotta admit, Matthew Sullivan’s relentless devotion was unmatched!

Not far away, a snicker was heard—

"Hey, what’s this? Matthew Sullivan, congratulations, you’ve successfully won her over."

In the distance, Iris Lockwood saw them standing at the entrance and walked over, sweeping an indifferent look over Matthew Sullivan from head to toe.

She was here for a photoshoot job but didn’t expect to run into the two people she least wanted to see!

Seeing that she could divert Matthew Sullivan’s attention, Evelyn Clayton quickly waved her hand, her red lips parting slightly.

"You chat."

Matthew Sullivan thought she was jealous, hurriedly blocking her.

"Evelyn! Don’t misunderstand, I’ve long since drawn a clear boundary with her!"

Upon hearing this, Iris Lockwood instantly exploded.

"What do you an by ’clear boundary’? Matthew Sullivan, have you no sha, weren’t you the one two-timing, sticking with while shalessly flirting with Evelyn Clayton?! Rember, I was the one who dumped you, you shaless thing!"
