Walking up to her, Jas Grant wrapped his arm around her slender waist and bit her earlobe: "Rember, stay away from Matthew Sullivan."

He couldn’t stand seeing her greet other n with smiling faces.

Prying open his restless hand, Evelyn Clayton squinted her eyes in warning.

"Take care of your own ssy love affairs first."

"Alright, I’ll listen to you, I’m leaving first."

Jas chuckled, lowered his head slightly, and let out a low laugh.

Then he lifted the car keys with his index finger and left first, driving to the company.

Ten minutes later, Evelyn Clayton went to work at the company.

In the company, Matthew Sullivan imdiately spotted Evelyn Clayton standing out in the crowd.

He imdiately put down his work and worriedly approached her.

"Evelyn, why are you here? You’re not feeling well, why not rest at ho a bit longer? You should leave, I’ll give you so ti off."

"There’s no need."

With an indifferent face, Evelyn Clayton subtly avoided Matthew Sullivan’s hand and went straight to her office seat.

"Evelyn, you won’t be able to stand it if you keep going like this."

Since the last ti Matthew Sullivan and she perford a so-called "bed scene," he assud they were closer.

Evelyn Clayton secretly sneered inside, her deanor remaining cold as ever.

"I’m fine, you don’t need to worry about ."

"Evelyn..."

Matthew Sullivan wanted to say sothing more but was interrupted by a cold voice from outside the door.

"Matthew Sullivan, work ti is for flirting?"

Jas Grant stood at the doorway, hands casually in his pockets, staring at Matthew Sullivan with cold eyes.

"During work hours, isn’t Director Grant quite free as well, watching us little couple fall in love?"

eting his icy gaze, Evelyn Clayton smirked slightly, retorting unceremoniously.

However, Matthew Sullivan’s attention was caught by her latter comnt, unexpectedly delighted.

Realizing this, he quickly echoed her words, sarcastically: "The company doesn’t explicitly prohibit romantic relationships, besides, Evelyn and I are legitimate fiancés."

After speaking, he raised his hand to touch Evelyn Clayton’s shoulder.

Jas Grant’s presence suddenly grew colder, a faint rage swirling, each word tinged with chill: "Evelyn Clayton, you truly are a vain woman."

"Oh, really? But back then, it was Director Grant who abandoned for marrying the Yates family’s daughter."

She retorted through gritted teeth, staring into his eyes without dodging.

After all, one must act fully.

Jas Grant clicked his tongue, coldly chuckling: "Staying with while keeping ties with your ex, imdiately finding another after the breakup. Evelyn Clayton, you sure are impressive!"

His ridicule ended, and his gaze swept over Matthew Sullivan’s right hand resting on Evelyn Clayton, depths filled with coldness.

After a while, he left the office.

Leaving only Evelyn Clayton with a blackened face.

She was particularly annoyed by his last comnt, staring at his departing figure, cursing him a thousand tis in her mind.

Noticing her displeasure, Matthew Sullivan spoke gently to comfort her.

"Alright, there’s no need to fuss with soone like that; just a discarded piece of trash, not worth it."

He wanted to reach out and wrap her again.

Yet Evelyn Clayton pushed him away, her anger clear as she gnawed her teeth, cursing Jas Grant.

"He’s not worth getting angry! Move aside, I need to be alone."

Feigning anger, she bypassed Matthew Sullivan and stord out of the office.

On the second floor, she coincidentally ran into Jasper Grant coming to find her.

Seeing her upset, Jasper Grant blocked her way, his gaze dark and inscrutable.

"Evelyn, my brother truly isn’t what you think. His marriage to the Yates family was forced by my father; it wasn’t his choice. Even if he did those awful things, there are reasons!"
