The shopping mall was bustling with people, and Matthew Sullivan had been diligently following behind Evelyn Clayton.
Evelyn Clayton was already utterly fed up.
Just as she was feeling bored and ready to leave the mall, suddenly, a man wearing a baseball cap dashed out from a corner.
"Matthew Sullivan! You unfaithful bastard! You were clearly engaged to Iris Lockwood, why did you abandon her? Playing with girls’ feelings like that makes you a scumbag, you deserve to die!"
Shouting, the man waved a sharp knife in his hand, rushing towards Matthew Sullivan!
Evelyn Clayton had been watching the scene with interest, but as soon as she saw the man brandishing a weapon, her expression changed imdiately.
Not daring to delay, she quickly dialed the police.
After several rounds of struggling, Matthew Sullivan was outmatched, and he was already injured in multiple places.
Fortunately, the police arrived in ti, separating the two who were locked in fierce combat.
The man who had caused the commotion was still cursing non-stop as he was taken away.
Despite the disgust in her heart, Evelyn Clayton quickly helped the disheveled Matthew Sullivan, trembling as she dialed for ergency services.
From beginning to end, Jas Grant and Clara Yates stood not far away.
A bright smile spread across Clara Yates’s face.
"Look, how much she cares about Matthew Sullivan? After all, their engagent was a childhood promise, a bond you can’t compare with?"
Jas Grant sneered, "What are you trying to imply? Is there anything wrong with calling the police during a fight? Is this the trick you claim will open my eyes? It’s pathetic!"
Before the startled Clara Yates could respond, Jas Grant turned and walked toward Evelyn Clayton.

The man didn’t even look back, and the hatred in Clara Yates’s eyes deepened.
Of course, she would never hate Jas Grant, but she laid all the bla on Evelyn Clayton.
"Bitch, already about to get married and still can’t behave! I will never let you go, just wait and see!"
With that, Clara Yates turned and stord out of the mall in anger.
On the other side, Evelyn Clayton and her companion were slightly startled to see Jas Grant.
Seeing Jas Grant’s intense gaze, Matthew Sullivan instinctively shielded Evelyn Clayton.
Just as she finished speaking, she saw Matthew Sullivan suddenly place himself between her and Jas Grant, blocking their line of sight.
"Big bro, you’re in such a good mood to go shopping? Have you cleaned up the ss from before?"
"I don’t need to report my schedule to you. Your ambulance is here, better hurry," Jas Grant said coldly, then turned his head to Evelyn Clayton, "Let’s go, I’ll accompany you to continue shopping."
Seeing the stretcher being brought in from outside and already tired of Matthew Sullivan, Evelyn Clayton settled Matthew Sullivan down and agreed to Jas Grant’s invitation.
Soon after they entered a store, Evelyn Clayton went into the fitting room.
Jas Grant waited nearby, embodying the perfect gentleman waiting for his girlfriend, but a woman’s voice suddenly sounded from behind him.
"Mr. Grant, what a coincidence—looks like we really are fated to et."
Jas Grant turned and saw Sumr Monroe standing there with a smile.
At that mont, the fitting room door opened.
Evelyn Clayton erged in elegant attire, and upon seeing Sumr Monroe, a flash of surprise crossed her face.
Her intuition told her that this encounter was no simple coincidence.
Sumr Monroe looked calmly at Jas Grant and Matthew Sullivan, her smile still gentle, "Miss Clayton, this outfit really suits you, it’s as if it was tailored just for you."
"Is that so? But I don’t like this one," Evelyn Clayton replied coolly.
