The majestic sun once more rose to its heavenly throne, its gentle golden rays signaling the start of another great day.
Yet, a particular ashen-haired young man remained in his bed, fast asleep.
After a long yet pleasant day of promotions and nostalgic reunions, Shye decided to relax the next day.
He relentlessly took on quests and trained to improve his reaction ti and attributes in the past five months.
Hence, he decided to give himself a nice, relaxing one-day break wherein he lazed around all day, doing whatever he wanted.

It was only the next day that he left his room, heading towards the guild headquarters to check on his division's progress, planning to resu his relentless grind.
He had no idea how much ti remained before the old man's organization, Verden Zachrana, would launch a full-scale war against Dweezel Hawkins.
The only thing he could do now was increase his strength as much as possible.
'The old man would give a mandatory quest if there's sothing that needs to be done, anyway. No need to overthink.' Shye pondered as he walked, arriving in front of the guild headquarters after fifteen minutes.
"We greet the division leader!"
"Oh? Good morning, Orto, Banja. You guys are early."
"We're planning a duo hunt today, and since it's our first ti taking on a quest with just the two of us, we need to find one that's neither too tough nor too easy."
"That's great, I wish the two of you good luck."
After a brief interaction with two of his division mbers, Shye headed straight to their new, spacious division lounge, while Orto and Banja went to the quest board to find suitable quests.
He at least had to see if his division was headed toward the next tier because if not, he would naturally make so adjustnts.
Months? Years? Shye didn't know when the old man would enact his plans.
Hence, he had to make his subordinates as strong as possible and try to rope as many of them as he could before the battle against Dweezel.
He naturally had a plan on how to do it.
It was just that, he needed to develop their trust and foster loyalty and camaraderie with him a bit more before attempting it.
Otherwise, acting too hastily could jeopardize not only his plans but also the old man's.

A loud creaking sound echoed within the room as the old wooden door of the division leader's office slowly opened, and an attractive young woman with short brown hair and hazel eyes entered shortly after.
"Oh? Mara, what's wrong?"
"Division leader, soone who just arrived at the guild today claims to be your friend. I'm not sure whether to allow him into the division lounge. Could you please confirm if you know this young man?"
Hearing Mara's words, Shye's eyes narrowed—his heart racing slightly in anticipation.
'Who could it be?'
He had an inkling that it might be one of his teammates from Colzen Academy.
However, he couldn't determine who it was.
Well, it couldn't be Harry or David, at least, as the two were slightly less talented than Kiin, Ian, and Siegfried.
Eager to see who the newcor was, Shye quickly exited his office, Mara following closely behind.
She was also curious.
Sohow, the young man's face was familiar, but she couldn't recall where she had seen him.
It didn't take long for everyone to know, though.
"Yo, Crowley. Seems like you made it here faster than . Sigh…and I thought I could finally beat you for once…"
A familiar voice sounded from outside the division lounge, bringing a sincere wide smile to Shye's face.
Out of all his teammates, this guy was the one he spent the most ti with, as they were in the sa course.
Hence, Shye was really happy now that Siegfried had arrived in Valenzia.

"Sieg! You've already made it to the main branch?"

Shye knew his friend very well.
Naturally, he also knew what his gaze ant.
"Sigh…you just arrived and you already want to spar?"

Their conversation had been brief, yet they had already organized a highly anticipated event—one that their guild mbers would eagerly watch.
Naturally, Shye's division mbers, upon hearing their conversation, imdiately spread the news, leading to approximately 3,000 people gathering in the main branch's training hall.
The numbers were way less than what Shye preferred.
However, it was better this way, as he did not want to humiliate his friend in front of many people, especially since he had just arrived.
"Hey, who's that guy? Daring to challenge Crowley…what a delusional youngster!"
"Shut the hell up, you idiot! Can't you see they're friends?! This is nothing but a friendly spar!"
"Still, I still want to know who this other guy is. If he's Shye Crowley's friend, then this guy should know better than anyone how strong Crowley is!"
