Everything happened right before Jasper Sinclair’s eyes, not even giving him ti to react.

After the car hit and ran, the sound of wheels skidding on the ground vanished, and the road returned to its calm state.

With all his strength, Jasper Sinclair ran towards the person on the ground.

"Nora, I’m calling an ambulance, don’t you fall asleep." At this mont, his speech was already incoherent.

...

"Whee-oo—"

The ambulance arrived just in ti.

Nora Northwood was placed on a small stretcher, her wrist hanging down without any movent.

The vehicle sped along the road, with Jasper Sinclair accompanying the dical staff to the hospital, and Grandma Sinclair and others gradually arriving as well.

"How is Nora?"

Supported by Raina Sinclair, the elderly lady could barely steady her steps.

Jasper Sinclair clasped his hands, his voice trembling, "Grandma, she’s still in ergency rescue."

He was filled with guilt, only hoping the outco of the rescue wouldn’t be too dire.

Grandma Sinclair understood his current feelings and didn’t press further, though her hand gripping the cane tightened continuously, filled with an indescribable unease.

Hours passed.

The ergency room doors were opened from inside, and a doctor in a white coat stepped out, "Is the patient’s imdiate family here?"

Jasper Sinclair was almost the first to rush forward, "I am her husband, what is the current situation?"

"The situation is not particularly optimistic; there is excessive blood loss that requires a transfusion."

"I can do it."

Jasper Sinclair struggled to control his emotions, barely stopping himself from rushing in.

"The patient has Rh-negative blood type, and the hospital’s blood bank doesn’t have a matching type at the mont."

Upon hearing this, everyone present was stunned, not expecting Nora Northwood to have such a rare blood type.

The doctor noticed the family’s hesitations and proactively ntioned, "The hospital will fully cooperate in finding a matching blood type, but the family should also prepare for the worst, given it is a special period now."

Subsequently, both sides began searching for people with "panda" blood type.

The hospital had so records in the list, and soone had already started calling for communication.

anwhile, Jasper Sinclair left the hospital.

He drove towards the police station, where May Lawrence was held.

The road conditions during the New Year were relatively smooth.

Jasper Sinclair pushed the car’s speed to the limit, not daring to waste a single mont, fearing that he might lose Nora Northwood because of it.

The scenery outside the car window flashed by until he reached his destination.

When he saw May Lawrence, Jasper Sinclair’s eyes were already bloodshot, "What is your blood type?"

"I don’t know, how would I know such things!"

At this ti, May Lawrence hadn’t realized the seriousness of the situation, nor did she know what was going on outside.

Jasper Sinclair directly had the prison doctor perform a blood type test on her, using both test strips and a blood draw.

While waiting for the result, May Lawrence cautiously probed, "Did sothing happen to Nora?"

Jasper Sinclair didn’t answer her question and didn’t want her to know anything about Nora Northwood.

The test strip result ca out first, showing that May Lawrence was just a regular type O blood.

Jasper Sinclair unwillingly asked, "Do you have any other family mbers?"

"My son is still in school."

Hearing May Lawrence repeatedly refer to soone else’s child as her son, Jasper Sinclair only felt sorry for Nora Northwood.

So, he gave up on May Lawrence.

May Lawrence was taken back into custody, never knowing what actually happened throughout the ordeal.

When Jasper Sinclair rushed back to the hospital, a feeling of desolation lingered over him from head to toe.
