"What are you thinking?" She asked, making snap out of my thoughts.
"Nothing", I replied and tried to get up from bed.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"Ayla must have co ho already so I’m going to check on her," I said and kissed on her forehead.
As I ca out of the room I saw Ayla playing with Chloe in the living room. It was all fun watching her having fun but she looks so tired which made worried.
"Ayla", I called her.
"Yes, dad", she answered and ran toward . I hope I made Chloe feel a little bit relieved.
I was still going toward her but she ran quickly toward and held my legs.
"Woah, you have strong legs", her eyes started shining.
"You want legs like ?" I asked.
"Ummm"
She was lost in her thoughts.
"Ummm no", she rejected.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because I want to be like mom", she said with a bright smile.
I can’t believe she is so talented even when she is so little. Her palm is just so little and it is covered inside my palm just like a tiny pet.
I kneeled in front of her and asked, "Baby, can I ask sothing?"
"Yes?"
"You hate ?" I asked.
"No?" She herself is not sure of her answer.
"Really?"
"Don’t you hate for being a bad dad?" I asked.
"Why? Bad?"
"Because you are unable to et when you are already this much taller. And I made your mom alone too." I asked.
"Umm no because mom never told you are bad." She said,
"She told you about ?" I asked. I’m getting really impatient.
"Yes she did but back then I didn’t know you were my dad." She said,
I carried her instantly and took her downstairs. My hands are getting sweaty just the thought of listening to things from her in those tis I was never able to be with her.
"Yeah now tell ," I said and placed her on the couch.
"What?"
"What did your mom talk about ?" I can’t believe I’m getting curious like a child.
"Are you a kid?" She asked.
"Maybe", I laughed, making her massage her head like a grown-up person.
"Ok, let tell you."
"When we used to go to sleep she often used to ntion about you. Back then I didn’t know but now I know it’s you.
She used to say how I looked similar to you, like my hair, my eyes and how I behave. She used to say how I used to make mom worry when I was in her tummy with all the sweet things I wanted to eat." She said,
"You like sweets?" I asked even though I know she liked the cocoa just like I did but I never knew she is just like .
``Yeah, I love them", yeah I rember when I brought her chocolates last ti she finished it in a day and her way of eating was ssy too which was so freaking cute.
"What more?"
"She used to say that she t a person in her school and he was like a prince."
"Prince?" I asked.
"Yeah, m don’t you know about prince and princess from fairy tales when a prince cos and takes the princess establishing friendship?" She asked.
Oh, so that’s what she ans? And here I was wondering how she knew things. Aaron, you are dumb.
"Yeah, I know."
"So she said she wanted to be friends with the prince but the prince was surrounded by so many of his friends. So she was never able to talk but only looked at him from afar." She said,
"That must be sad right?" I asked.
"Dad, it’s about you."
"Huh!"
"Whatever I said was about you and the prince is you ." She said,
"Prince? ? It can’t be. It must be a story ." I said.
"No no, I can guarantee it’s about you." She started to frown.
"Ok ok, I agree it’s about ," I said and she ran to her room to freshen up but I was still wandering. Is that really about ? But she never once looked at at school but it was always drowning in her.
"What are you thinking?" I heard a voice.
I turned to see it and it was Chloe.
"What are you doing here?" I asked. I thought she left after I ca here.
"Woah, I was here from the start. Were you blind or what?" She said,
Damn, she is so brutally honest.
"And now what should I do when soone can let himself out from hearing about himself from a certain soone." She teased.
"Yeah, I can say the sa for you when you kiss a certain soone in front of the entire school," I said.
"Ha ha I’m still honest but that person is no longer the sa." She said, looking away.
"What do you an?" I really understood nothing.
"Can’t you see how he behaves?" She asked.
"I can’t really as I thought things were sorted when he knew about your pregnancy," I said.
"No, it’s even more ssed up." She said and sat on the couch.
"Could you explain?"
"What should I explain? I myself no longer know what I am doing. It took more than five years to try to make look at the way he used to look at . It took more than seven to eight years to reunite with him after school but here I’m again standing on a path where he once told to let’s break up because it was only a bet." She said but her voice sounded hurt.
"You must have rembered right?" She asked.
"Yeah, how could I forget?" I can’t believe I rember this.
"Each day he ca from the office to ho. I tried everything. I made his favourite dishes, I prepared movie night with him, and I planned a trip but he never acknowledged a thing but he only rembered how I tried to take revenge on him. And now he only knows how I made him have a baby." She said,
"You forced?" I said.
"Yeah, I drugged him." She is damn honest.
"I know the way I did was wrong but if it can make him co to it’s all worth it but he didn’t spare a look on when I’m here dying with the cravings of what he likes. Could he even ask more from when I bear his child?" She said and yeah I rember how Ayla told about her first pregnancy and my baby too said how she makes Ayla worry with all the food I like. I can feel it.
"So what should you do after this?"
"I’m thinking of returning to my parent’s ho." She said,
"You are leaving?"
"Yeah, I have decided and I even talked to mom and my friend too who will pick up tomorrow." She said,
"He knows?" I asked.
"Does it even matter?" She said,
"If it would have mattered at least he wouldn’t have hated his child or he would think I slept with soone to bring this situation up. I really have no idea."
"I will talk to him," I said and was about to go find him when she stopped .
"Don’t worry I will tell him by myself at night so you don’t need to be involved with or I will make Ayla even more upset." She said,
"But aren’t you two?" I rember what I saw in the morning.
"Yeah, all I can say is it’s better than before as we all know a person’s way of the heart is through his stomach." She chuckled.
I laughed as well.
"So you should better start cooking or what if one day she finds a person who cooks delicious food and she dumps you for that." I know she teased but I’m a jealous man.
"I will keep it in mind," I said and started walking toward my room when I saw Jas.
"What were you doing there?" He asked.
"Talk, can’t you see?" I said.
"I can but I have never seen you talking with such a smile." He asked.
"Are you jealous?" I asked.
"Jealous? Why would I?"
"Then why would I answer you?"
He frowned.
He walked downstairs toward her making feel as if sothing was going to happen but I hope Jas expresses his feelings soon until it’s too late.
I don’t want to see my heart breaks any longer.
I entered my room and found her cuddling with Ayla.
"Woah, you guys made feel left out." I pouted.
"Dad, you are such a kid." Ouch, that hurts.
"Ayla, I’m being bullied." I ran to her and held her tightly.
"I can’t see anyone bullying you though." She said,
"Ha, now you are being partial," I said.
"Ha ha, such a kid." Both of them laughed.
"You two!!! You are having fun laughing at right? Let make you laugh more." I said and started tickling them until they begged to stop.
