Aaron POV
I was in a eting with an overseas client when I got a call from ho ntioning it was an ergency. I don’t know what was the ergency but the way the butler called with panic while I heard Ayla’s crying from behind made panic as well which is why I left all of my work in the middle and drove to ho.
Jas followed as well but he didn’t ask anything until we reach ho.
As I reached ho I slamd the main door loud while I found the butler was holding Ayla who was crying nonstop.
"What the hell is going on?" I asked with a loud voice but no one uttered a single word but as soon as Jas ca forward I saw Chloe coming out from the upper floor while a maid was with her.
"I need to know to figure it out", I asked again when Ayla ca running toward and holding on to my pants while her tears kept on running down her cheeks.
"M-mommy"
"Get my mom."
"She left "
She was saying but I still didn’t understand what is she trying to say.
"Baby, calm down and say again", I asked.
"Mommy..hic..left...."
"What do you an?" I asked.
"When..hic..i..ca from school... She was in front of holding a bag. I..hic... Told her to wait if she is going sowhere but when I ca from ho she left already", she was crying but as I heard Ayla leave my switch snapped.
"I tried to ask what happened but she didn’t answer but left. She looked as if she was in panic but still she didn’t hear anyone but left", the butler said the sa but I don’t know if I had the right mind to get a hold of myself but ran to my room.
Everyone’s eyes kept on following but I care no one but threw the things here and there trying to search for her things but there was nothing she used but only Ayla’s clothes were left as if she really left her with .
No no, it can’t be happening.
Everything was so good till now. Why would she even leave when she promised to marry ? She even told she will talk with dad regarding the engagent then why she left ? Why? Why? Why?
I was already having lots of thoughts running in my head when I heard a creaking noise from the door.
I looked at when I found dad at the door with a surprised reaction on his face.
"What’s going on here?" he asked but I just couldn’t say anything. It’s not I m weak but the anger kept on building inside making growl.
"Aaron I m asking sothing", he asked again.
"She left", I said in a low tone.
"Who?" he asked again.
"Ayla fucking left again", this ti my voice was loud and clear.
"Ayla? Left? But-
He stopped expecting to hear so good news from him.
"But?" I asked and kept on waiting for him to speak.
"She was with an hour ago and-
He was talking but I didn’t let him speak with a mountain of questions for him.
"Tell what did you talk about?"
"What she said?"
"Did she say she will co?"
"Or what?"
"Aaron, calm down", his voice was still calm I can’t believe it.
"She ca to to break the engagent talk which she started before and I agreed too but
When I asked the reason she said you will co and tell about the reason. And I m still waiting for you to answer what’s actually going on and why she left Ayla here all of sudden when the previous ti she was fighting to not leave her here alone."
So she did break the engagent with Jas and waited for to speak out my feelings so that we can be together?
Then why she left all of sudden?
Why?
"Aaron, she can’t stop crying", Jas said while he was holding Ayla but soon he handed her to but still she didn’t stop but hit my shoulder with her little hand which didn’t even hurt at all.
"Bring my mommy back. I need no one but her. I need Ayla back. Get back my mommy. Get her back here." she kept on saying.
"If she hates all of you then I will not be with anyone and leave with her as well but I can’t live without mommy. I want my mommy. Take to her where she is." I can feel the pain in her voice but I too don’t have any idea where she is.
I tried to calm her down but she fell asleep while crying which made put her to bed and go to the living room where all present.
"I want all to tell what is going on ?" I waited for at least one to speak but no one did but until one maid who was standing behind Chloe ca to the front and tried to say sothing.
"I think I may know the reason", she said.
"You know? Tell what happened?" I asked again but she looked at Chloe who tried to stop her but she spoke, "Miss. Chloe is pregnant."
As she said my blood started boiling.
"Aaron? You?" Dad looked at with the disgusting expression which I expected to see when I thought of the conclusion but I never know it will be like this.
"No, dad I didn’t anything", I shouted.
"Everyone here in this house knows that I and Chloe have no relation," I shouted.
"Then how did she get pregnant", dad started shouting when Jas ca forward.
"It’s ", he said.
"What do you an it’s you?" he asked.
"The child she is having now is mine", he said looking down.
"What the hell is going on here?" Dad shouted again.
"I know dad there are many complications in our relationships and Chloe and I are one of them.
I don’t know if you rember or not but that day when I was admitted to the hospital she was to co to et but because she misunderstood the whole situation she chose to be with Aaron which led Ayla to run away when she was pregnant."
Jas started narrating.
"And because of Chloe’s mistake, he decided to get engaged to her even though he wasn’t willing but this ti she was with . We share the sa room. We share the sa bed and we even sleep every night together", while he was saying I could feel a certain pain which he was hiding.
"Then why did Ayla leave?" dad asked again.
"Because she still thinks Chloe and Aaron together as we thought we will handle the situation rather than tell her but before that it happened because of a certain one’s arrogance", Jas steals a look from Chloe.
"Jas, believe , I didn’t think it would lead to this", she started crying out but Jas didn’t even touch her or look at her.
The entire topic ended while dad left into his room without knowing what to say more. My mind is in chaos as well as if soone is hitting my head so that I could think nothing.
"I’m going to her ho. I’m sure she will be there", I said and started walking toward the parking slot when Jas joined as well but he didn’t bother to share his feelings with .
I’m sure this ti too he is blaming himself for this.
"Jas", I placed my palm on his shoulder.
"I know what you are trying to say but please don’t ." he ignored it.
I didn’t ask him further but in a few minutes, I was in front of the White Mansion when my eye fell on Jace and Josh playing in the garden.
I slowly walked toward him but he still looked clueless.
"You? Here? Did you bring Ayla to play with Josh?" he asked as usual but I stayed silent.
"What happened? Why do you look so serious?" he asked.
"Did sothing happen? He asked.
"Aaron, tell !!" he shook .
"Ayla, left", I said.
"What did you say?" he asked again.
"Ayla left ho all of sudden and we are unable to find her anywhere", as I said I punched her in the face.
"What the hell did you do again, you bastard?" he gritted his teeth.
I didn’t argue.
"I was telling dad not to call her here but he did as you said and took her to your place as well and now after months, you are telling she left and you couldn’t find her? Just how irresponsible you are?" his glare looks hell angry still I know I deserve this.
As I didn’t say anything he dropped on the ground and ran inside.
I followed him as well but before I could say anything he already shouted, "Dad, Ayla vanished again."
