Little Ayla POV
I can’t understand what is happening around . I was sleeping but when I opened my eyes I found myself here in an unknown place while this bad uncle was holding . But still, I didn’t feel scared unlike when I feel with others who I never t.
I argued here with the uncle but still, it was fun. As if I found a play friend. He even handed hot cocoa which I absolutely love but that was until mom ca. As mom ca bad uncle took mom to sowhere while Uncle Jace looked after .
I don’t need soone to look after .
I’m a grown-up. I’m already five years old but no one listens.
I again waited for mom to co down but as she ca and was about to take to grandpa’s place the grumpy grandpa stopped us but mom didn’t let hear what they are talking about as that was adult talk but that was until he introduced to the other bad uncle telling he will be my new dad.
But the question is what does dad an?
That bad uncle told to call him dad as well. Why? Why is everything so complicated? Why is mom telling to call him dad when the bad uncle looks so upset when I look at him? What is happening?
"Ayla?"
Mom called , making snap out of my thoughts.
"What are you thinking baby?" she asked in her soft angelic voice making feel blessed to be born from her.
"Oh nothing", I said while she gently patted my head.
I looked at the bad uncle again when she didn’t even et his eyes with mine. His brows looked frowned just like how aunt Kylie used to behave when she ca from work and got mad for so reason but why is he frowning when he was happily playing with a few minutes ago?
"Mommy", I tugged on mom’s shirt.
"Yes baby", she replied.
"Can I go to Uncle’s place?" I asked, looking toward Uncle Jace.
"Oh I will go with you as well", she said but I stopped.
"No mom, I’m going to say bye to Josh so I will go with Uncle," I said.
"But I want to go as well", she said.
"I will be quick", as I said uncle ca forward and convinced her so we both left the place which was almost suffocating .
So many questions running through my head but I don’t know. I don’t know why I am thinking when people around keep telling this is not the ti for to think but still I ended up thinking.
"What are you thinking Baby?" Uncle asked while he was driving and I was sitting beside his driver’s seat.
"A Lot of things", I replied.
My voice may sound serious. But I can’t help it.
"Baby, you ok?" as he said my tears started rolling down my cheeks making cry like a baby.
He screeched the car all of sudden and pulled to his arm while I cried continuously. He didn’t ask a single thing but kept on patting my back as if he knew sothing was wrong with .
"I don’t understand things", I cried while saying.
"Mom is acting weird."
"The bad uncle looked at with his sorrowful eyes but it hurt a lot."
I don’t know how long I kept on blabbering but it’s feeling as if my head is about to burst.
I kept laying on his chest while I found myself standing in front of my uncle’s ho. Uncle carried inside while grandpa and another old woman ca to at high speed and held .
Who’s this new old woman?
I never saw her.
"Thank God, you are safe", grandpa said and kissed on my forehead.
"Baby, you are not hurt, are you?" the other person asked while I shook my head as no and said, "Why would I be hurt when the bad uncle gave hot cocoa and heard about my pranks? It was super fun."
"Bad uncle?" they asked.
"You are such a forgetful grandpa. The bad uncle who played hide and seek with us and made mom cry. You forgot?" I asked.
"Aaron?"
"Yeah maybe", I clearly don’t rember his na.
They took inside and made sit on the couch while Josh’s mom gave water but I don’t know why they kept on surrounding which made push them far from .
"I’m suffocating", I said.
I made a weird face in anger.
"Sorry Ayla", grandpa held his ear which made him feel as if he was really sweet just like a child.
"Yeah good", I smiled happily but I again rembered the thing mom said.
"I want to ask sothing", I said. They all looked at , making flinch.
"Baby, don’t be scared and say", Uncle rest assured .
"What does dad an?" they gave the sa reaction as I asked.
They kept staring at each other’s faces, making confused.
"You don’t know?" I asked.
"Ah I know", grandpa answered but all of sudden the old woman took to her lap.
"You don’t know what dad ans?" she asked the sa way as the bad uncle asked.
I shook my head.
"Why do you call grandpa as grandpa?" she asked the exact sa way.
"Isn’t it a nickna for him from ?" I answered the sa.
"Nickna?" she asked.
"Yeah, Aunt Kylie said that my mom’s dad should get a nickna from which is grandpa so I call him that. The sa as well goes for uncle Jace but I don’t even know why mom calls grandpa dad and why the bad uncle told to call him dad and mom told to call the other bad uncle dad."
As I said, they all stared at uncle Jace.
What’s happening?
"Jace, what happened?"
"Keeny, take Ayla inside", Aunt took inside just the sa way mom made my ears close that ti.
I still went inside without asking anything. As I entered the room I saw Josh was crying and when he saw he ca cunningly toward and hugged .
"Where dwid you lwost?" His words are still so clumsy.
"I wasn’t lost", I patted his head and said,
"You dwid lwost", he repeated the sa thing and cried.
Such a crybaby.

"Jace, what happened there?"
"Why was she talking like that?" Mrs White asked.
"Mom...
Jace stopped.
"What mom? Tell ?" she asked in a panic.
"Mom, I don’t know what happened between Aaron and Ayla but when we were about to return Morris King stopped us", Jace said.
"Morris?"
"Yeah, he kept arguing that we can’t take his grandchild even after Ayla threatened them to make it public", he said.
"So how did she co here? And where is Ayla?" she asked.
"Did sothing happen to her?"
"Stop with your act", Mr White interfered.
"Act?"
"Yeah, because you never ever cared about Ayla so why are you acting now?" Mr White asked.
"You won’t understand", Mrs White said and again turned to Jace.
"Shee...
"What is she’s?"
"She asked for sothing from Morris King", he hesitated.
"What was that?"
"She asked to be engaged to Jas Lee", as he said all frowned.
"What the hell are you saying!!!"
"It’s true mom. She is the one who made this proposal and he agreed. She even let Ayla call him dad which is why she is acting this way. She even cried while coming ho as if she was thinking lots of things which she couldn’t even understand.
She said when Aaron looked sad she felt bad as well but being with him was fun. So indirectly the blood was acting up even if Ayla wanted to reveal it or not", Jace said, making them fall into a dilemma.
"So Ayla ca here herself?" Mrs White asked again.
"Yeah she said she will co to say bye but I think she just wants to know what the dad ans. She doesn’t even know what her dad is and who her dad is. Isn’t it too complicated for that little child? But seeing her crying all I can rember is Ayla’s crying face when she was in school." Jace looked down.
"I think it’s better to tell her the truth", Mr White said.
"What do you an?" Mrs White asked.
"She should know the aning of dad or if one day Ayla changes her mind or when she goes to school and her schoolmate explains to her she will be hurt and I don’t want to see a second Ayla becoming weak", Mr White said.
"What if it’s not sothing Ayla wants?"
"Still it’s important", he insisted.
"Fine, let’s explain", she agreed and walked toward their room.

"Ayla", soone called so I turned and found the sa old woman.
"Ah, what should I call you?" I should have asked before.
"Call?"
"Yeah I don’t know what nickna should I give you", I thought but I thought of nothing.
"Call Helly", she said.
