"Dad"
"What happened?"
"Why did you co suddenly without even informing ?" I asked.
Dad is still driving while his facial expression looks weird as if he is angry about sothing.
"Dad, I’m asking sothing", I said while he sped up the car, making scared.
I don’t know why he is driving so freaking fast but I’m sure sothing is happening without my knowledge. Dad’s grip on the steering is right. n
What happened?
Is it sothing related to Jace or Mrs White?
What is it?
I didn’t ask and kept my lips shut while soon I found myself in front of the ho I kept living alone.
He didn’t even wait for but went inside while I followed him like his tail.
"Dad"
"Tell !!!"
"What has gotten to you?"
He again didn’t reply and went to the couch. I did the sa as well. After a while, he looked at and said, "Who was that guy?"
Huh!
"What are you saying, dad!!!" I asked.
"I’m asking about the guy you are within a silent place."
"Was he bothering you? Did he mischief with you? Tell I will deal with this!!"
"I saw you as if you were about to cry so I hurried to rescue you. I was even ready to call the police in chief but when you ca I didn’t but if he bothers you again I will appoint guards for you", he said while holding my shoulder. I kept looking at him without blinking as if what he was saying was completely going out of my mind.
"Dad, what are you saying?" I pushed him a bit.
"Baby, you don’t have to fear and say whatever you feel", he caressed my head. He sure is acting so possessive when it cos to which made laugh.
"Ha ha"
"What are you laughing at?"
"Dad, you sure got it all wrong", I said while trying to control my laugh.
"What are you saying?"
"Dad, the guy who you saw was not bad or he was not a mischief, nor that he was threatening but it was all who was trying to take him here to talk," I said while dad looked shocked.
"Yes dad I may look like a little girl to you but I’m all grown up ."
"And there is sothing misunderstanding going on with us so I want to talk", I said looking at the ground.
"Baby, is everything ok?" He held my shoulder.
"Yeah dad everything is ok but still so fear keeps on growing inside ."
"I have no idea what is happening but I just couldn’t keep my heart in control.
Whenever I see him my heart starts beating loud making uneasy. Whenever I feel that way I can’t even keep a straight face. My face started burning. My heart started racing and my feet wanted to dance as well but all of this kept happening at the sa ti which almost made go crazy."
"I know dad, you must be thinking I’m crazy and I may be crazy but these feelings are completely out of my control. And this is not the first ti I feel this way. I have felt the sa way when I was in my school before leaving the place but I realised late why I was acting like this." I said looking at my feet.
"You are talking about Jas?" dad asked.
"No dad it’s not him."
"I know your worry because I was heartbroken because of him but I never got to say that the one who made my heart beat like crazy is none other than his brother Aaron," I said.
"Aaron?"
``You are talking about the guy who brought you to the hospital?" he said, making wonder which ti he was talking about.
"Hospital?" I asked while he looked away.
"Dad, tell what are you saying? You don’t know just how much I need those answers", I asked while my eyes were filled with tears.
"I know you don’t rember the ti but the first ti you were on the verge of dying that ti he was presented at our place.
When you were going to your room because of those heartbroken mories that ti he first ca to our ho to talk to you. He wanted to give you his note. He wanted to ask how are you but the entire situation was terrifying for all of us to even ask how you are.
But the mont you started falling from stairs and I wasn’t even able to take you to the hospital because I was too scared to see your blood. My legs were trembling. I was dying in a way when he ca forward and carried you. The entire ti he was with us."
He didn’t say what happened but with the way, he explained Aaron I could feel the warmth behind his feelings.
"Dad, I want to ask more things", I asked.
"What is it?"
"Before I lose my mory did I ever ntion the things I just said minutes ago?
Did I ever ntion that soone is making my heart beat faster but he is nothing but an empty shell? Sothing like this?"
I looked at him while he was so lost in thought. I waited for him when he looked at .
"You never said like this but there was a ti when you asked how it feels to be held by soone?"
As he said, my face turned red.
How could I ever ask sothing like this to dad?
"Dad, did I really say sothing like this?" I asked.
"Yeah you did but I knew you were so innocent back then so there is no hidden aning behind the ti but you were so happy so I only said if soone wants to protect you he will sure hold you tightly making you feel warm as well safe. Because that’s what my little girl deserves," he said and stored my head.
"Dad, there is one more thing", I asked again.
"What is it?" he asked.
"Who took to the hospital when I fell unconscious in the middle of school?" I asked.
"It was Aaron." he didn’t even think.
"The mont I got a call from your school I panicked and ran to see you. That’s when I saw him standing behind the room while he was sweating a lot. That’s the ti I realised he joined the new school too." as he said it hit my mind.
"Wait a minute!!"
"How could I forget!!!"
"What?" dad asked.
"I didn’t know that both people were the sa", I said.
"What do you an?" he asked.
"Dad what I’m trying to say is till now I had no idea that the feeling I have been feeling from Aaron was the sa as my old school. No one told that he changed schools and he was in my old school.
But just now you said he was the one who ca to before the accident so my guess was right. He is the sa person. He is the person I was thinking of."
"Ayla, I don’t understand what you are saying", dad said but I couldn’t even cope with my smile anymore.
"You won’t understand dad because your daughter sure has lost her mind", I kept on smiling.
But sohow I again turned to dad and said, "Dad, so you know Aaron so could you please find him."
"Could you please tell where he is now?"
"Could you tell his whereabouts?"
"I have been going nuts thinking about all things but sohow I think that the Aaron I t in my childhood and the Xenon I’m with now are the sa but don’t know how. So could you please try to figure it out?"
"Please!!"
"Please!!"
Please!!"
He patted my head and nodded in approval.
He didn’t ask anything. He knows I’m crazy in love but the smile he gave in approval made assured that even if there is no one beside this person will stand by my side to support till the end.
"Thank you for being with dad."
"I’m really grateful to have you."
He again patted my head while I quickly picked up my phone as soon as I heard a ring.
"Xen", It was him.
"Yeah baby", this must be the first ti he called baby with his husky voice.
"What has gotten into you?" I asked.
"Maybe just seeing you make keep falling for you even more than usual", my face flushed but seeing dad beside I ran to my room.
"Hey, I was with dad. How could you be so romantic in a situation like this?" I whispered.
"Why can’t I when you just left to hang in the middle of the road while my pants were so freakin tight with the thought of being inside you." my legs gave up.
