It has been four months since we have returned. Everything was going well until one night I got a call from Aaron. It was so freaking late but when I picked up, I heard a psycho woman’s voice from the other side making even more panicked.
"I have to go", I said and got up from bed. Chloe woke up from her sleep as well and looked at .
"Where are you going?" she asked while she was still full of sleep.
"I’m going to Aaron."
Before she could think sothing bad, I said, "I just got a call from his phone when he was not saying anything but a woman muttering so nonsense making all worked up."
"Will you be ok if sothing really serious is going on?" she sounded worried.
"Yeah, I will be", I kissed her forehead and hurried to find him.
I’m sure he is not at ho and that is not Ayla’s voice either which made drive my car toward the office. I’m sure he is there. I still have so doubts as he usually gets off from his work and returns ho but this ti, I’m having a gut feeling which keeps on telling I will find him there.
I did follow my guts and reached there. It already has been an hour since I’m driving to reach here but I hope I’m not late. I ran upstairs toward his room when I found out he was lying on his couch while an employee which I have been seeing for so many months is stripping as if she is the one after all this.
I picked up a vase from the table and hit her head, making her thud on the floor.
Aaron is all unconscious. I loosened up his tie which made him feel relaxed.
It took ti for him to co to his conscious mind until the girl got up again and tried to co toward him but this ti he got up and slamd his face to the wall making it all bloody and ssy. I never saw him behave this way. This was the first.
"You, ok?" I asked him while patting on his shoulder but he started walking fast. I’m still not sure what is he thinking but all of sudden he ran down stairs without even listening to . I still followed him while he drove the car and took to his place where I see his care taker was standing outside while every door was opened wide.
"What is going on?" I started to panic but he ran straight inside until I followed him as well and saw the terrifying scene right in front of .
Bloods were splashed everywhere from the stairs from the main entrance. It was terrifying. It was so spooky and terrifying which finally made realize that I couldn’t see Ayla anywhere. Where is she? Is the blood hers?
I panicked again. This ti I drove the car to the hospital and figured out she was having labor pain. She tried to call his phone so many tis but no one answered until her family mbers ca and brought her to hospital. But the saddest part was now when we finally reached, we heard the doctor declaring her as a dead person.
I could feel my ntal nerve breaking down as well.
I even got a call from Chloe at the right ti.
"What happened?
"Did you find him?"
"Did you see him? Is he ok?" her questions grew but I have no idea what I should say.
"Jas? Why are you so silent? Are there any issues going on? Tell !!! I’m getting worried", she panicked but I’m still not sure what to say. Should I say that she died giving birth? Should I?
"Jas!!! For the fuck’s sake say sothing!!!!" she shouted over the phone.
"A-Ayla" I stuttered.
"Ayla? What happened to her? How did you et her?" she asked.
"I’m in hospital right now and she just gave birth to a baby boy", I said sohow.
"Woah, tell her congratulations. I will go to et her", she looked happy until I said, "The doctor said she is no longer breathing."
I’m sure this is not she could handle but I had to. Yeah, I did it.
"Jas, you are joking with ?" her tone changed.
"Ah no I’m not", my voice was low as well.
"I’m coming right now", she said and hung up on .
I’m not sure if she is really coming here or not but her voice sounded serious as well full of anger as if she would kill Aaron right here. I’m still standing behind him while he is arguing with Jace who is full on angry mode. As I took my step forward, he glared at . Of course, he will as we have lost our friendship long ago.
Still, I sohow went to talk to him but then I heard the doctor saying she has gained consciousness.
I took a long breath. Thank God she is alive. I went to call Chloe again until they shift her to a proper room. But I already can see her in front of the hospital coming out of a cab. I ran to her to stop her.
"That was fast!!" my voice sounded like a tease when a slap landed across my face.
"What was that?" I spoke. I’m still dumbfounded.
"You still know how to tease when soone dies?" oh shit yeah that’s what I ca to inform but she is already here.
"She has returned", I said looking down.
"What did you just say?" she asked again.
"She is alive", I said.
Her tears started falling down her cheeks. She sounded so hurtful when her voice ca out. I felt as if this was one of my mistakes.
"Baby, calm down. Everything is ok. Did you hear? Everything is ok. She is ok and her child is in good condition as well." I spoke gently so that she could take everything calmly.
"Shall we go ho now?" I asked.
"No, I want to et her", she wiped her tears and walked inside. Her tummy has already grown a lot in these months which is already making her hard to walk but still she is in so much panic which made her co by herself.
"Let carry you", I said but she refused.
"I don’t want any public eyes on by doing your stupid stunts." she frowned.
Her mood swings too reached a peak , making discard from her life. Now she only looks at the baby but there are again so thoughts roaming around my head after seeing their kid. I hope the baby will be a girl so that I can marry her to my brother’s boy.
I know it is sothing which is wrong but if I think and Aaron is not blood related. Till now I’m not sure if Mr. King is my dad or not because when I was inside mom he was already married to Aaron’s mom and what I heard is he wasn’t in contact with my mom until Aaron and I ca to the world. That thought is still stinging from inside.
Should I ask?
But to whom?
To dad?
I’m not sure. But I kind of want the thought roaming inside my head to happen. I hope so.
I snapped out of my thoughts when I realized Chloe already went to see Ayla while I was still in the waiting room.
I ran fast and reached when Aaron was still not allowed outside but only Jace and his mother were inside and now they allowed Chloe to go inside as well.
Is she going to be, ok?
I’m not sure but wait outside knowing if they are not allowing Aaron then the White family will never be going to allow to go inside in the first place.
I waited for more than an hour for Chloe and finally she ca out with a sad expression.
"What happened?"
"Is there sothing bothering you?"
I asked for sentences again and again.
"’Can I go ho?" she said.
"You’re feeling unwell? Wait I’m bringing my car right now!!!" I went to the parking place and brought my car in an instant and took her ho. But when we reached and were going to our room she broke out. Her tears started flowing, making wonder what was the conversation she had with Ayla.
Did she say hurtful talk?
No, it doesn’t seem like it. I know they have beco good friends from long ago then why are she crying?
"You love ?" she asked.
"Of course, I do. Why are you asking such a silly question?" I’m getting scared.
"You sure do, right?" she asked again.
"Yeah, I do. I do plenty so stop thinking about this." I said and picked her up.
Still her questions kept on bugging .
