When the cheers and applause died down, Exedra and Lisa broke their kiss and simply pressed their forehead's together to enjoy each other's warmth.
They didn't speak, they didn't need to.
All of their thoughts and emotions were being perfectly conveyed though this simple mont of tenderness.
If anyone had any doubts as to whether absence makes the heart grow fonder or not, they needn't look any further than this.
"You did it… I'm so proud of you." Exedra whispered.
Lisa couldn't respond all she managed to do was nod furiously while she held back her tears.
All of her months of effort was more than worth it just for this mont.
All of the late nights training.
All of the days she'd spent missing him.
It was all washed away with this simple embrace.
Lisa wanted this mont to last forever.
"Umm… hello there."
Suddenly, a voice Exedra didn't recognize interrupted his reunion with his loving wife.
Turning to find the source, only then did Exedra rember the woman whom Lisa had been speaking to prior to his arrival.
'A human? No that's not quite it…' Exedra was slightly confused as he stared at this woman who was of an unrecognizable race.
While she looked almost identical to a human, the density of her muscles and mana exclaid loudly that she did not belong to such a weak race.
"A-ah I'm sorry Val I just haven't seen him in a while." Lisa hurriedly began apologizing before she started making introductions.
"Honey this is Valerie Dord and she is a very old friend of mine."
Valerie shivered slightly when she felt Exedra drag his gaze along her entire body. 'T-the stories don't do him justice at all.'
Valerie was a very sharp and rough woman.
Life had made her hard and cold, and only when she cared about soone enough would her fiery personality co out.
But in front of the most enchanting man she could imagine, she beca ek and had no idea what to say.
"It's nice to et you Prince Exedra.." she bowed deeply hoping that he wouldn't see the red blush spreading on her cheeks.
Before Exedra could tell her to raise her head, a small dragon girl had chosen to walk up right at this mont and blow her cover.
"Auntie Valerie why are you blushing?"
"Y-you're seeing things Mira."
"Nope! Since Mira evolved her eyesight is wayyyyy better!" Mira proclaid with a proud look on her face. "Do you wanna be my mommy too?"
"W-wha-?"
"Oh co on!" Seras scread. The poor woman looked like she was on the verge of tearing her hair out.
"You're really pretty so I think daddy will like you. " Mira then turned her attention towards her stunned father. "Daddy do you like her?"
"Mira don't embarrass her!" Lisa had finally stepped in to save her friend but it looked like the damage had already been done.
"Eh??" Mira tilted her head in confusion as if she truly didn't understand what she'd done wrong.
"I-I'll see you tomorrow Lisa!!" With that Valerie imdiately turned around and fled the castle at breakneck speed.
'After I was so nice to that girl! How could she betray like this?!'
Exedra finally let out a small chuckle. "How cute."
POW!
No sooner had the words left his mouth that Lisa delivered him a hard punch to the stomach. "You're back for five minutes and you're already looking at other won?"
Lisa's eyes began to glow gold and her hands crackled with blue lightning.
Seeing that familiar crazed look of possessiveness that he found present in all of his wives, Exedra got incredibly excited and it took everything in him not to dive on top of her right here.
"Of course not my love." Exedra gently stroked her cheek with the back of his hand and imbued a pleasant sensation into his touch.
Lisa's body trembled imdiately and she almost forgot why she was mad.
"D-don't think I'll let you off with just that."
She took a step back and pointed her trident at him as if she was trying to ward off a wild animal.
"Oh?" Exedra's voice beca dangerously seductive and Seras and Lisa both tightened their legs in unison when they heard his tone.
He gently pushed Lisa's spear aside and closed the distance between the two. "Tell what I should do for you to let off?"
Lisa was absolutely in shambles.
Her breathing beca erratic and her underwear was currently going through a small crisis.
All of the desires she'd stuffed down for four entire months were banging at the door begging to be let out "I…I-"
"Mommy and daddy are being gross." Mira interrupted.
"ow." (You're just too a little too young to understand.)
"Ahem, umm we'll discuss that later." Lisa tried her best to slip back into her motherly persona but it was difficult.
"I look forward to it." Exedra chuckled.
"Have you seen the other girls yet?"
"No you're my first stop."
"Well let's go they missed you just as much as I did." Lisa took Exedra's hand and led him out of the training grounds.
Along the way there, Lisa excitedly told him about all of her training over the last few months as well as her increased proficiency of her new elent.
Mira followed closely behind them with gumin in her arms.
The two of them were having an important conversation.
Naturally Mira couldn't understand gumin, but these past few months she'd co to enjoy conversing with her.
"Mira doesn't understand. Does aunt Valerie not want to be Mira's mommy? "
"ow." (You can't just drop that on people Mira.)
"But everyone want's to be Mira's mommy, I hear the maids say so all the ti!"
"ow." (Don't let your mothers hear you saying that.)
Trailing behind them was Seras with a downtrodden expression on her face. "He.. he called that woman cute.. she's not even one of his wives! W-why won't he treat like that?!"
Seras contemplated going to find that woman to kill her but she figured doing sothing like that would enrage her handso pupil.
'Damn it.. we'll see if I can't make you mine and mine alone!'
