Chapter 354: Chapter 204: Past Events and Old Histories

"The Path of the chanical Engineer: Forging a Divine Path with Machinery"

Foreword:

The developnt of Makena has gone astray. As the place where magic guided technology was recreated, it should have led the entire Nebis to a new era. However, after Karios Keckrus left Makena Island, it lost its enterprising spirit, only reveling in creating wonders and indulging in the conveniences brought by magic guided technology.

The Spirit Core Committee, which should have been selected by skill and wisdom, has been occupied by more than half with so-called nobles who gained their position through manipulation and assets. In the entire island, voices occasionally rise to discuss changing course to follow the path of conquest by Jelus Keckrus. These words even entered formal discussions in the etings, truly foolish!

The Holy Speriel Empire has long vanished; the na of the Speriel Empire it snatched from the Olin Kingdom cannot last forever. Even that original mighty empire is buried in the dust of history, indicating that waging war everywhere is entirely the wrong choice.

But so people have already begun to contact the so-called Chalk Fortress. Different paths do not work together. I, Cormac, will prove that by making engineering technology accessible to the public, true magnificence can be forged.

The so-called gods looked up to by everyone are revered because of their great achievents, not because of what they claim to accomplish.

This volu is a summary of experiences left behind while practicing this path, compiled so that fellow travelers can proceed smoothly on the path of the chanical engineer.

Chapter One: Choose Magic guided Technology or Rune Enhancent?

Eight hundred years ago, the prodigy Karios Keckrus, as an alchemist, deciphered the prototype of magic guided technology from the relics of the ancient Magic-guided Civilization, leading to the prosperity of Makena today.

But after losing Karios, people now are rely recreating his results in various forms. Because they lost the theory of their original ntor, creating new theories of magic guided technology requires great effort and must be carefully considered before stepping in.

The simplified magic array runes are the crystallization of many years of research in Thousand Tower City. Although they can use magic to reduce the difficulty of traditional engine-driven large machinery, we engineers or chanical engineers are not mages, and our understanding of magic runes is very limited, which sotis restricts our research and manufacturing. However, there is much room for developnt here.

My personal suggestion is to understand both in the early stages.

Now, let’s begin to explain how to build cognition and start learning...

Li Ang closed the notebook and called Andasu over.

The White Wolf jumped on the golem and was touching it all over, completely ignoring Li Ang’s call.

Li Ang shook his head and walked to her side to call again.

"An? Co take a look at this. You need it."

The young girl leaned over to peer into the chanical structure in the seams of the golem’s tal casing. Although her expression was as inscrutable as ever, her wagging big tail betrayed her good mood. The shadow lines between the muscles of her back and spine were also very pleasing to the eye.

"An?"

Li Ang let out a long breath, with no choice left.

He reached out and rubbed the big tail of the White Wolf.

"Ah!"

The beast eared maiden let out a cute squeal, covering her rear as she jumped up.

"M-Master?"

After a mont’s pause, Andasu said: "If you like it, please don’t do it here."

Li Ang lifted her off the golem with wind and knocked the notebook of Engineer Cormac against the young girl’s head before handing it to her.

Andasu, clueless, opened the notebook, glanced at a few lines, and imdiately couldn’t take her eyes off it.

Letting her read it herself, Li Ang picked up other papers on the table.

Among them were the engineer’s diary and his golem’s design drawings.

Li Ang showed a page from the back of the diary to Dorothy, who had been standing next to him reading the notebook together, "Look."

"Hmm."

She leaned on Li Ang without a care, the faint fragrance, like honey, lingered around.

Dorothy gently read a critical passage:

"October 16, 294. Today took on the expansion project of the Holy City. This is trendously good news. The project will be led by the new head of the Cha’ain Family, Sir Yosain, who is attracting much attention, along with many influential figures. The purpose is to enhance the living diversity of the Holy City’s residents. Honestly, I don’t care about this, as long as I get paid. It’s the first major inco since leaving Makena, with this, several of my ideas about the ’cha Demigod’ can be realized."

Dorothy pondered, and Li Ang asked her a question. She said it was nothing and flipped the page with her slender finger.

"December 7, 294. The power of the cha Demigod left many speechless. Of course, it did; it’s all my heart and soul as a chanical engineer. In terms of absolute combat power, it still needs additional combat modules, but its expandability and functionality are impeccable. In just a month and a half, the project was declared complete. The funds that I and other workers advanced should be settled, right?"

"December 10, 294. What’s going on? The Cha’ain Family, such a noble, the founder’s descendants of the guild, the city builders, actually want to withhold the wages and my rewards? Don’t the other big figures involved in the planning and the Sky Cavalry have money? This is outrageous! I need to find the head of the Guild Affairs Committee or find a way to see the mbers of the Knight Resolution Council. Fortunately, my account book and the foreman’s ledger are evidence."

"January 3, 295. After the new year, there are always unidentified people lingering outside my studio. Sowhat ominous, I must use the remaining materials to create combat modules for the cha Demigod."
