"Get out."

The bodyguard hesitated imdiately; the man had a gun, better to leave!

A few bodyguards were pushed out.

Leon’s mother saw the bodyguards co out but not Ian; her heart was furious with worry. What exactly happened to Ian? Why didn’t they bring Ian out?

That damned Ivana.

Does she want to kill her grandson to feel satisfied?

"You... why didn’t you bring Ian out?"

The bodyguards looked troubled.

"Madam, it wasn’t us who didn’t bring Ian out. He refused to co, asked us to leave, and forbidden anyone from touching his mommy."

This was Ian’s original words.

Leon’s mother was stunned, lost in thought before coming back to reality.

What?

The bodyguards an... Ian is protecting Ivana?

Her darling grandson is safe; Leon’s mother finally felt relieved.

Leon’s mother cast a questioning look at Auntie Chamberlain.

Auntie Chamberlain’s eyes flickered with guilt, "When I arrived, Ian was indeed being held tightly by Ivana. Perhaps Ian saw that Ivana’s foot was injured and softened."

Leon’s mother was so angry with Auntie Chamberlain; is Auntie Chamberlain blind? Ivana holding Ian ans she wants to harm him?

At tis like this, no matter how much Leon’s mother hated Ivana, she didn’t wish for Ivana to harm Ian.

Leon’s mother thought that she needed to find two more nannies to look after Ian, to prevent Auntie Chamberlain from talking nonsense; she’s too old to handle shocks.

Leon’s mother glanced angrily at Auntie Chamberlain, feeling a headache. She pushed Auntie Chamberlain aside and walked to the operating room’s entrance. Seeing the scene inside, she was shocked, covering her mouth. Then she saw two identical little boys guarding in front of Ivana, and tears flowed instantly.

"Ian."

Leon’s mother cried out, "Co to grandma."

The two little boys looked so alike. Besides differentiating by their clothes, Leon’s mother couldn’t distinguish them otherwise.

Ian glanced at Leon’s mother outside and shook his head at her.

Leon’s mother felt a wave of mixed emotions. She wanted to rush in and hold Ian, but the bodyguard beside her supported her.

"Madam, you just had surgery; don’t be too emotional. Ian is okay."

Leon’s mother’s expression flickered briefly. How did she forget she just "had surgery"?

If Leon ca now and saw her like this, he’d surely be suspicious. Thankfully, Leon didn’t believe what she said; he’s probably still at the office.

Thinking like this, Leon’s mother felt slightly relieved, pretending to be weak while watching Ian from outside.

Watching from afar was fine too; seeing her dear grandson unhard, she felt at ease.

Monts later.

Leon’s mother noticed the familiar figure of an old man in the operating room; isn’t that... Leo Griffin?

Leon’s mother’s expression turned peculiar, seemingly regretful and resentful, finally dissolving into tears.

Unexpectedly, she’d et Leo Griffin this way.

Tied on the ground, Leo Griffin felt guilty seeing the senior Leo co in, deliberately lowering his head as if afraid of seeing others.

The senior Leo looked him over, finally stopping his gaze on the nylon rope binding him. The knot was ssy and tight, as anyone unfamiliar with knotting would tie.

The senior Leo said nothing, shifting his gaze towards Ivana, sensing the wary eyes of two little boys, seeming to see deep-seated fear within those eyes.

The senior Leo understood but didn’t jump to conclusions.

The senior Leo noticed Ivana’s professionally cut foot wound and frowned, stepping forward, "You must have surgery imdiately, or the infection would lead to severe consequences."

Ian shouted at the senior Leo, "Get lost! Don’t co near. Nobody’s allowed to touch my mommy. The ambulance... Mount Cygnus Hospital’s ambulance, why haven’t they arrived?"

When the police arrived, Aunt Golding followed; Ian had her call 120 to request Mount Cygnus Hospital’s ambulance. He mistrusted everyone at Mount Cygnus Hospital.

He wanted his mommy transferred for treatnt.

Upon hearing, Aunt Golding picked up the phone again, dialing 120 while wiping tears.

How could such things happen here at the hospital?

Until now, Aunt Golding couldn’t accept reality.

Ivana’s face turned pale, apparently from excessive blood loss, on the verge of fainting. She heard soone talking to her but remained silent, unable to distinguish who was good or bad anymore.

Infection with severe consequences, what then?

At least there were police here, ensuring her and the children’s safety.

Ivana wished Leon could arrive quickly; she feared she wouldn’t last long, overwheld with dizziness, hoping Leon would co to protect the two children before she passed out.

Seeing Ian so agitated, the senior Leo felt indescribably touched, perhaps fate binding the mother and children to him. The senior Leo stood out unexpectedly.

He showed his credentials, "I am the Vice-President of the Mount Cygnus Hospital... Leo Griffin, also an orthopedic expert."

Just finishing her call, hearing the senior Leo speak in the operating room, Auntie Chamberlain trembled; two "Leo Griffins"? Was the Mount Cygnus Hospital’s "Leo Griffin" a fraud?

Ian glared angrily at the senior Leo; seeming ready to tear him apart, "It’s the damned Leo Griffin who hard my mommy. I despise doctors nad Leo Griffin."

The senior Leo was montarily stunned; he hadn’t hard this child’s mommy.

Without waiting for the senior Leo to question.

A police officer explained, "It’s like this, Mr. Griffin, this doctor... he’s also nad Leo Griffin."

The police pointed to the bound man on the ground.

The senior Leo’s expression imdiately darkened; he’d heard rumors about soone impersonating him at Mount Cygnus Hospital.

At the ti, he’d laughed it off; patients and families weren’t foolish, aware he worked at Mount Cygnus Hospital. Besides, it wasn’t uncommon for people to have identical nas, so he didn’t care.

Never expecting a situation like this to arise.

This Leo Griffin dared to commit cris under his na...

The senior Leo couldn’t tolerate it.

He trusted the law to punish the imposter; saving lives was now paramount.

The police officer’s mother had suffered a severe fracture, eventually finding the senior Leo at Mount Cygnus Hospital, praised highly for orthopedic surgeries. Thus, the police officer greatly respected Leo Griffin.

Hearing Ian denigrate the senior Leo, the police officer remarked, "Little one, you’re wrong to speak like this. There are countless people sharing the sa nas globally; why redirect your anger towards this imposter onto our Mr. Griffin? Mr. Griffin’s character is recognized widely, and he’s an esteed orthopedic expert. If you genuinely wish to benefit your mommy, you should plead with Mr. Griffin to help her undergo surgery quickly."
