Eternal Source’s power had broken through past the Samsara Realm to reach the Afterlife Realm. Thus, he was on the sa level as the Abyss Great Emperor.
With Eternal Source around, Lin Yuan decided to head to the Abyss Great Emperor’s palace to investigate his corpse.

Neither of them had lied but only cherry-picked the parts of the full truth. This was not considered lying! Even if he interrogated them again, their answers would not change.
After reaching the Afterlife Realm, Eternal Source realized he gained a strong mind-sensing ability. When he was near another lifeform, he could sense what they were thinking.
He did not have the courage to use this ability on Lin Yuan but was fine with using it on Carlos and Caroline.
Since Eternal Source understood Lin Yuan’s thods, he felt that Carlos and Caroline’s sches were very stupid.
Lin Yuan had a whole slew of subordinates besides him and the rmaids who shared his bloodline and thus trusted him.
Rather than trying to co up with a way to gain his favor, they were trying to sche against him. They were definitely going to regret this!
“The two of you, lead the way to the Abyss Great Emperor’s palace. Instruct your three Abyss Wombs to also head toward the palace so I can take their books.”
Lin Yuan gleefully climbed back onto Eternal Source’s back.
He previously assud that he would have to spend several months in the abyssal world, but he ended up stumbling on the abyssal world’s secret soon after entering. Besides the two weeks he had spent waiting for Eternal Source to finish his breakthrough, Lin Yuan only took three days to obtain all ten books as well as both the Endless Gems. Hence, he would be able to conquer the marsh world within a month.
With both Endless Gems and the ten books in his possession, he did not need to continue exploring the abyssal world.
Once he brought Carlos and Caroline out, all they needed to do was to send them out to inform the demons that had reached the Dictator level to gather at the ninth level of the abyssal world.
Lin Yuan had decided to plant the abyssal world’s treasure on the ninth level.
Carlos and Caroline sighed as they led the way.
It was true that they were unable to consu the Abyss Great Emperor’s corpse. His corpse was extrely tough, and they could not make a dent in him no matter how much force they exerted into their bite.
Eternal Source possessed similar power to the Abyss Great Emperor and could definitely make an impact on the Abyss Great Emperor’s body. Hence, they now could not keep the Abyss Great Emperor’s corpse for themselves.

Eternal Source sensed the aura from within the castle and said solemnly, “Lord, there is indeed the aura of an Afterlife Realm expert within the palace. It doesn’t have any vitality fluctuations, but it’s really strange.”
Lin Yuan’s expression imdiately turned wary.
Eternal Source never exaggerated when he spoke. If he said that sothing was strange, he had to have noticed sothing.
Eternal Source did not continue speaking, aning he did not understand where this feeling of strangeness was coming from.

He had once used Entire Body dium to produce the image of the skunk. The skunk’s aura had been much stronger than that of Eternal Source.
The Abyss Great Emperor had gone into the palace soon after his breakthrough and had not erged since then. Thus, he had to be weaker than that skunk.
The three Abyss Wombs were not far from the Abyss Great Emperor’s palace, so Carlos and Caroline could contact them.
First, they soothed the seven Abyss Wombs. Then, they brought the three Abyss Wombs to the side of the Abyss Great Emperor’s palace, and Lin Yuan obtained the three books.
Lin Yuan was using the Sacred Sword Wielding Queen to support himself. Thus, he was very sensitive to elental energy. He could sense that the fire-elental energy flowing in the surroundings was gathering toward the palace.
After confirming this, Lin Yuan asked Eternal Source seriously, “Eternal Source, are you sure that the lifeform in the palace doesn’t have any aura of vitality? Why do I sense all the fire-elental energy in the surrounding gathering toward the palace?”
Lin Yuan’s words were a reminder to Eternal Source.
As a dinsional lifeform from the marsh world, Eternal Source was not sensitive to fire-elental energy. He was the most sensitive to faith power and source-type power.
But it was true that there was fire-elental energy continuously gathering around the palace. The fire-elental energy was not moving quickly, or else Eternal Source would already have noticed it.
However, the palace had already stood for over 10,000 years, and thousands of years had passed since the Abyss Great Emperor died.
Given the speed at which the fire-elental energy was gathering, one could only imagine just how much fire-elental energy had gathered over the past thousands of years.
Yet, no energy fluctuations were coming from within the palace.

The first was that the Abyss Great Emperor was not dead and was in a pseudo-dead state for so unknown reason. He was currently absorbing all the fire-elental energy in order to heal himself.
The thought of the second possibility led Eternal Source to look at Carlos and Caroline.
The second possibility was that these two abyss demons were planning sothing.
The second possibility seed more reasonable to Eternal Source.
If the Abyss Great Emperor was still alive, the two abyss demons would have already co up with a way to kill him rather than giving him the chance to heal himself.
