2465 The Dead Abyss Great Emperor!
“If you want to see the three Abyss Wombs, we can call them over for you now!”
The two abyss demons had troubled expressions.
The Abyss Great Emperor had been the most respected figure in the abyssal world considered a myth.
In all honesty, these two abyss demons were not grateful to the Abyss Great Emperor at all. Instead, they bore so hatred for him.
They had not received help from the Abyss Great Emperor to increase their powers.
Back then, the two of them had been rivals with the Abyss Great Emperor and had been planning on becoming loyal to him after he achieved a breakthrough as a ans of extending an olive branch. This was their way of leveraging important roles among his subordinates.
The Abyss Great Emperor had indeed given them important roles as they had been tasked with looking after the Abyss Wombs. However, he died soon after they took on the jobs, leaving them trapped in the first level of the abyssal world.
It went without saying that such a situation was out of their control.
The situation back then was rather similar to the current one.
The Abyss Great Emperor would have targeted them if they had not voluntarily submitted to him.
To outsiders, the Abyss Great Emperor was mad. After his breakthrough, he insisted on changing the abyssal world and claid that the abyssal world was lacking.
But in the end, having started out as a Horn Demon, he paid extra favor to the Horn Demons while in the process of changing the abyssal world. He had reserved the seventh to 14th levels of the abyssal world, which were also the levels with the most habitable environnts, for the Horn Demons.
Hence, many other species of dinsional lifeforms had no choice but to form alliances with the Horn Demons in hopes of gaining more resources.

The Abyss Great Emperor had been like a child who was trampling over things and changing rules as he pleased to satisfy his selfish desires. Because of this, he had turned the entire abyssal world into a toy that he used to gain pleasure.
The only right decision that the Abyss Great Emperor had made was to seal all ten of the Abyss Wombs in the first level of the abyssal world so that no powerful demons could take control of them.
The Abyss Wombs were the demons’ only thod of procreation. Whoever controlled them would be able to continuously produce new demons.
The two of them had once controlled two of the Abyss Wombs and beca the third largest faction in the abyssal world, with the exception of the Abyss Great Emperor.
They had decided to submit, but the second largest faction in the abyssal world had not chosen to beco loyal to the Abyss Great Emperor. Rather, they decided to oppose him. In the end, the Abyss Great Emperor had utilized a cruel thod to wipe them out.
The mory of their old rivals’ pathetic ending filled Carlos and Caroline with imnse grief and residual fear.
An Afterlife Realm expert had died! Lin Yuan was very curious to find out how this had happened.

An Afterlife Realm expert would never decide to take his own life. An expert who did not treasure his own life would never be able to reach the Afterlife Realm. In fact, he would have died before he even beca an Apostle.

Lin Yuan was silent montarily after hearing what Carlos and Caroline said. Then, he looked at Eternal Source and saw that Eternal Source was also frowning with doubt.
Lin Yuan did not need to use the Engulfing Flas Heart Mushroom to judge if the two abyss demons were telling the truth. Even if they were telling the truth, they had not explained the situation clearly.
He had seen the Abyss Wombs for himself. Given their intelligence, they did not move unless their lives were being threatened or if the books had been stolen.

If the Abyss Great Emperor’s body had been in the palace, these two demons would have used it to try and attain breakthroughs so that they would be able to break the seal themselves. They had no reason to leave his corpse alone for all this ti.
It was likely that the Abyss Great Emperor still had a thod of deterring the two demons despite being devoid of any aura of vitality.
