*~Leon’s POV~*

By the ti I was done, I packed my belongings and then I went downstairs to wait and then told all of us to go move. And it was only Alice that was there. She turned to and she imdiately abandoned her gaze away from . She was still hostile and beefing a little because she still blas for everything and every trouble Aurora is in. And I don’t know how, but I know one day I will gain her trust back.

Then Hazel, then Lilith, then Caspian — they all joined us. And as usual, Cayden was the last. Then Cayden cracked his voice.

"So we are all ready now?"

We nodded, and then he just spoke up.

"I’m very sorry, I know we are late already, but Cyrius is on his way," she said.

And Cayden sighed. "We know, but we don’t have forever."

"I know we don’t have forever, but it’s just... it’s already soon. It’s already nearby. Who are we going to leave the twins for if we all leave?"

Then Cayden touched the bridge of his nose. "I know they are maids and the high house is heavily protected. Their grandparents are also around. The twins will be fine. It’s just—"

Then the door opened and I turned to see Cyrius standing by the door. He entered with a smirk on his face and Hazel was the first person to rush to him. She pulled him into a hug and buried her face in his chest.

"Oh, Cyrius," she said.

And then he hugged her back, kissing her forehead. They stood there for a mont, and it was Caspian that broke them up with a sarcastic cough.

Then Cyrius looked up. "Oh, co here, Caspian. I know you also want a hug."

Caspian just rolled his eyes while Cayden kept growling.

"Why do you take forever? If you had been one second more late, you would have disappeared and you would not see us."

"Well, I’m glad I’m lucky I ca here faster."

"Yeah, you are," Cayden said.

And then Hazel turned. "Well, Cyrius, we are going— we are going to the forest of... we are going to a particular forest. I want to go find Aurora," she said.

And Cyrius turned around. "Why is it that you guys are always in one trouble or the other? Why is that?" he said.

And Cayden shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I guess we should change our pack na to the House of Drama at this point."

"Well, we don’t have much ti left. Hazel called you here to co and take charge of the twins and also the high house. And I want to tell you sothing. My twins better be in better health by the ti I get back. If not, I will whip your head outside if you decide to be funny with them like you did earlier."

"Oh, you seem to forget that I’m the one who nad— you seem to forget that I’m the one who nad those two. And those two were practically born in my hands. So, they’ll be fine. You’ll be fine. And they’ll be fine," Cyrius said sarcastically, pissing Cayden more off.

Cayden wanted to say more, but Caspian touched his hand. "It’s enough, Cayden," he said.

And Cayden turned to Cyrius. "You’ll be here. You’ll be here for ," he said.

And then we all packed our things and we decided to go. And Cyrius turned to Hazel and kissed her forehead.

"Be safe."

"Oh," she blushed. Caspian grabbed her hand away from Cyrius.

We began our journey as we took a carriage. A very huge one.

We left when it was almost mid-afternoon. And when we were all travelling, my mind just drifted back to Eric. Aurora as Eric. My chest tightened as I rembered her funny jokes, her silly laugh, her short hair, and how she desperately wanted to be a man even when she was the most feminine woman I would ever et.

A smile bumped on my face and then Cayden got confused.

"Why are you smiling? Did any of us say sothing funny?"

I shook my head. "I rembered sothing funny."

"And what is that? Would you like to share it to the group here? This trip is quite boring. We would like to laugh too."

"This is a very private mory," I said.

And then he got furthermore confused.

"A very private mory. So you’re having a private mory when we are all here risking our lives to get your fiancée away from whatever problem you threw her into."

"I did not beg you to follow , Cayden. You can leave now."

"You are very arrogant. You are not even remorseful. I should be sleeping by now. I should be spending ti with my babies. But I’m out here saving the love of your own life. And the least thing you can do is to make laugh."

I got suddenly speechless, and Hazel opened to , "Don’t mind him. He is usually a jerk when he hasn’t had his lunch yet."

"You see?" Cayden threw his hands in the air. "I have not even had my lunch yet. All because of you."

He said, "Fine, Cayden. I have finally had enough." I stretched my hand to him. "If you are that hungry, you can eat on then."

He said, finally losing it, and he twisted his eyes. "Ew."

Then Lilith finally said sothing after gazing at the map nonstop.

"Guys, I found sothing," she said.

"I think we need to separate," she said.

And then there was total silence. No one talked to her.

She said, "What now? The thing is that wherever you’re going, I’m seeing two directions here. And one is wrong. And I can’t say which one is more accurate. So the best thing is if we split up, and a group will definitely reach the destination first. And whichever group first reaches there will contact the other group around. Then that group will go and reunite."

"So what you’re saying is that we need to separate?" Cayden said.

And I said, "Hell no. Together we stand. We are stronger together."

"No one is saying we are not stronger together. It’s just... it is advisable for us to take two routes. I understand what Lilith is trying to say."

"Of course you do," Cayden snapped.

And then Hazel stood up and went to sit down beside Cayden. She placed his head on her shoulder. And then she kissed his forehead like he was a child.

"Don’t worry, my love. This is going to be fine. This is the perfect way if we want to find Aurora early."

He nodded, as if Hazel did so magic potion to him.

"So how are we going to be doing it?" Lilith said.

And Caspian stood up. "Hazel, Aurora, Cayden, Lilith, all in one group. And then , Leon, and Alice will be in the other," he said.

And Lilith stood up. "Perfect."
