"They are coming here," Kora said now standing right in front of Lazarus and looking up at him. "Those bad people, they will co here," she said again.
Lazarus stood up and knelt in front of her so they could be at the sa height. " are you sure?" he asked.
"Yes," Kora said, firmly. "At night, just like before."
"We won’t be going to the ceremony," Lazarus announced, still looking intently at Kora to see if there was any form of lies in her eyes. Kora gladly looked at him the sa way not minding the fact that he was an alpha she was his subject. She had never felt intimidated by a superior before. Even Lazarus doesn’t scare her even when he releases his aura on her.
After making sure that there was no mischief in her words, he stood up and looked at his second and third in command. "Double the security at the border and here in the pack house. Make sure all those who can not fight, the won and children are in the safe house before five in the evening." No one is allowed to leave the pack at any cost. Send guards to Dana and let her stay with the children in the safe house." He ordered.
Raven and Ezra looked at him with confusion, they had no idea what warranted such an order, not to ntion, it was because of what Kora said. They found all that she said ridiculous. What did she an by they are coming? Who was coming? They were yet to know. Yet, Lazarus acted like he already knew everything.
"What is going on, Lazarus?" Raven asked standing to his feet.
"There will be an attack tonight," Lazarus responded with certainty shocking Raven and Ezra.
"How can you be sure of that, Alpha? Because she said so?" Raven asked with a hint of sarcasm. He almost rolled his eyes as he said that.
Lazarus didn’t know how to answer that question. He felt like he could trust her without question and acted upon it accordingly.
Ezra looked at Kora with interest, it was rare to see Lazarus moved by anything so easily, yet just a few words from a little girl were able to make him act this way. He was aware of the ’bond’ between Kora and Lazarus but they still did not know what it was about. "Okay, I will have the warriors ready for any attack," Ezra said and stood up as well.
"Don’t tell you are doing this because she said so?" Raven said, unable to believe what was happening.
"Let’s wait until tonight if nothing happens, then you can throw all the sarcastic remarks that you can think of," Lazarus said. He took Kora’s hand and walked out of the room.

At Shadow moon pack,
The sun had set and almost all the guests had arrived at the venue. Alphas of various packs were present with their Lunas and so of their warriors. They had to co as they needed to be present. They looked at the lavishly designed packhouse searching for a particular person but he could not be spotted they walked in and took their designated seats.
Darren had gone in to get dressed as the ti for the ceremony to begin was drawing near. Levi and Mateo also went to their rooms to get ready as well while Logan and Leo were still helping Lucy and Lucinda with the last-minute stuff. Soon, they also left and went in to dress for the occasion, and so did Lucy and Lucinda.
Soon, the kick-off of the ceremony had begun. Sir Williams walked out and welcod the guests as one of the oldest and most experienced mbers of the pack and also the one who Darren does not detest amongst his age. Beginning with Alphas and the Lunas of each pack.
Once he was done, Lucinda gingerly took over the stage excitedly. "Welco, everyone, so of you already know who I am, but for the sake of those who don’t, I am Lucinda and I will be the emcee of this occasion. We will make it quick and won’t take much of your ti," she said and smiled at everyone.
"Today we are here to officially announce the identity of the Supre Alpha and pledge our loyalty to him and acknowledge him as our leader. Soon we will be graced by him." She said. " First, let’s welco the gamma supre, gamma Levi! "
As soon as she said that, Levi walked up to the podium where everyone could see him dressed in white with a touch of royal blue. All the gammas present stood up and bowed to show their respect along with all those of lower ranks.
"Now, let’s welco the beta supre, beta Mateo!" She said again and Mateo stepped up the podium standing on the right dressed similarly to Levi but his outfit had a touch of gold on his waist. All the betas present also stood up joining those who were already standing. They all bowed their heads.
She gave a sidelong glance at Leo and Logan who were standing by the door waiting for the Alpha. Lucy joined them but stood a little at the front. They nodded at her and she nodded back before turning to the audience.
"The most awaited mont has co, our Alpha has arrived and will be escorted very soon." said with all seriousness in her tone." Now, may have the chosen elders on the podium? It is approaching midnight and the ritual will take place at midnight," she said and so old shifters rose from their seats, at least one from each pack and climbed up the podium.

At Blood Moon pack.
Midnight was approaching slowly, and all the won and children had been evacuated to the safe house leaving behind the warriors with Kora as the only child who wasn’t sent to the safe house. Lazarus felt more at ease having her close to him than being locked away along with the rest of the children.
Dana had also refused to be locked up ever since she heard that it was Kora who had predicted the attack. Just like Lazarus, she believed that the attack will happen. She still rembers how the girl was able to see through her right at their very first eting.
Raven had on a gloomy face. He felt stupid to follow the words of a child who does know anything at all. The rest of the warriors did not complain, they just flowed their Alpha’s command and stood in their assigned positions.
Just when they were beginning to think that nothing will happen as it has just struck midnight, they heard footsteps approaching. Fast.
