In the Vampire territory,

Dmitri, whose legs were now healed, and Cillia stood side by side as they listened to the witches who were sent after Ezra and Mateo. After their report, they were then dismissed leaving behind the head witch and the vampire lord.

"Does this an that you have made up your mind?" Dmitri asked. He looked at her side profile which still looked youthful even though she was one of the oldest watches alive.

"Yes," Cillia replied, she looked ahead of her in the direction of the Blood Moon Pack. "She has a mate and a son. I am not needed." Her words were clear and her face had no emotion. It was like she had broken all these that linked her to her daughter, ties that never really existed before.

"You seem alright for soone who was just rejected by her daughter." He comnted and she glared at him. "Now we both know that you belong to . Only ."

"You are happy at my misery." She stated and he feigned innocence. "Laugh while you still can."

Silence followed her words as they both stared ahead. Lord Dmitri had his hands behind his back as he started through the window of Captain Leroy’s office that has beco his since his stay there. "The process was incomplete" He broke the silence and she looked at him. "Is it still possible?"

"It depends on how far they were able to go before they were found and their will to fight it," she replied.

"Make it work, Cillia," Dmitri said and turned to stand in front of her and tucked the stray strand of hair behind her ear, and cupped her cheek. "You ca how important it is that it works."

"I know," she said with a sad expression on her face.

"You still think about her," He said with a frown on his face for the first ti since his awakening. "I don’t want your attention divided,"

"It’s not as easy as it seems," She stepped away from his hold and looked away only to be pulled back to him. "I have searched for her for so long and now that I found her, she pushed away."

"You should do the sa." She raised a brow at him as if he had said sothing unreasonable. "Push her away too and forget her." He circles her waist and leans forward, "I should be your only priority,"

"You don’t have to be so demanding, It’s not like soone else would co to race away," she said and his frown deepened.

"It happened before, and she was born, do you forget that?" He asked. His face was barely inches away from hers and she could feel his breath on her face. "That would never repeat itself,"

"It won’t." She said finally relenting. He was possessive and a cold-blooded killer. Though he wouldn’t hurt her, the sa could not be said about whoever it was that ever gets involved with. The first experience was an example enough to let her know that he wouldn’t let her go even if she was to go to other n who had children with them.

"That is good," He said and climbed her hair with his fingers and then planted a soft kiss on her lips. "I can let go of the past and forgive, but I can’t and I won’t forget it."

"You have nothing to worry about, it’s all in the past now," Cillia said and he nodded.

"We have work to do, let us go now," Dmitri said and took her hand as he led her out of the office.

Sowhere else in the vampire territory,

Sebastian looked annoyed with Collins who had refused to stand up from the bed. They had planned and now it was almost done to execute their plans but Collins wanted out of it and it annoyed Sebastian to bits.

"Why are you backing out now? We planned for this." Sebastian asked almost yelling if not the fact that he didn’t want to be heard by anyone who might be walking outside their room. They were in a place that housed creatures with inhuman hearing abilities.

"Your missing arm isn’t enough to tell you to stay still and not go about scheming/plotting?" Collins asked, his gaze directed to Sebastian’s missing arm.

Sebastian gritted his teeth and clenched his jaws and first. Collins just hit a sour spot. Sothing that reminded him of his fight with a nobody who beca sobody out of nowhere and lost and lost his arm to him as well. His missing arm only catalyzed the hatred that he already had towards Darren, rather than ta him and putting him on a leash.

As if that was not enough, Collins asked again, "Have you ever seen a one-ard Alpha or Beta? What is the point of going on with your coup if it will only lead you to a dead end where you will be cornered and killed off easily?"

Sebastian continued to grit his teeth because Collins was only poking his sour spot repeatedly. He could not deny that he was right, for the fact he didn’t have an arm as a human, his beast would also lack an arm. There was filling it up and making do with his beast form because he would be as useless and helpless as he was.

"Then what do you propose?"He sobered up after a few minutes of being angry alone because it did not affect the other shifter who lay in a relaxed manner on the bed with his hand resting on his arm.

"Walk and work with the others and the vampires, do as they do, and don’t garner too much attention. No more plotting and just play safe, you are easy to spot with your..." He looked at his arm, "...You get the point."

Sebastian’s fist clenched but then he took a deep breath and released it. "Okay," He said with much difficulty.
