Eastern Courtyard, on the pagoda in the center of the garden.
"Greetings Lady Alia, thank you for allowing to et you today"
Ripley, like so kind of a dashing knight, knelt on one knee before the lady before her and kissed her hand.
With a striking appearance, coupled with a pair of captivating eyes that would draw anyone in, the woman smiled innocently and said, "My Knight, how have you been? Co, you were just in ti for my tea. Sit with "
Ripley smiled with such a dashing appearance that the attendants within her line of sight felt sothing pulling on their heartstrings
'H-how handso! No, s-she's a woman, I shouldn't have these kinds of feelings ant only for n!'
'How can a woman be so handso?!'
As Michael had once said one ti, if he were born a girl, he'd probably fall in love with Tony, not because she's good looking, but because she has that weird charm that only one in a hundred n possess, which also largely factored in when she got Knighted since she had never even t Lady Alia back then and there was really no reason why she bestowed her, her Knighthood.
Which she is well aware she does not deserve since she had not even built up that much of a rapport in terms of Prestige on the town unlike other players who had already made the town their base of operations.
"So I heard that the expedition went well Sir Ripley?" Sipping on her tea, Lady Alia asked the mont Ripley took a seat.
'Expedition?'
"Ah yes My Lady, though it was unfortunate that a Duchy had beco uninhabitable for tens of years due to the Undead"
Ripley was initially confused, but then she imdiately rembered that they just recently ca from a large expedition against an Undead Horde.
"It was fortunate that at least half of the residents of the Duchy were able to vacate the land or a lot more would have died and turned into an undead" Lady Alia added with a shudder.
"And it seems a portion of those refugees also ca all the way here, m'lady" Ripley replied when she rembered the group of refugees they saw along the road earlier before they entered the town gate.
"Yes, this town would gladly welco them since Father has long had plans for expansion. It was only delayed since we didn't have the required population for this plan to co into fruition" Lady Alia shared, which piqued Ripley's curiosity.
"Really? Why the expansion m'lady? I think the town is already big…Oh I see, the Baron wants to develop the town into a Port City, isn't he?" Ripley was halfway through her words when a sudden realization hit her, like a fog being dispersed and revealing what lies beyond .
Lady Alia's eyes turned into a crescent moon as she smiled and said, "Indeed, and your arrival was just in ti, Knight Ripley"
'Shit!'
Ripley imdiately cursed inside as she can already see a quest heading her way just from hearing those words from her.
"How may I be of service, m'lady?" but as she didn't want to offend the noble before her, she imdiately inquired of how she may be of help lest they sabotage their journey later.
She needs to borrow one of their ships after all.
Hearing her words, Lady Alia's smile beca even wider with a tinge of relief on her face that quickly disappeared as fast as it appeared.
"It's nothing difficult Sir Knight. I just want you and your friend to a lend a hand on clearing the underground labyrinth just a couple of miles from here"
'A dungeon?'
The first thought that imdiately ca to mind was a dungeon when Ripley heard the words "underground labyrinth", but then she beca even more confused since there are also the Knights of the Blue Order who are more capable and effective than she and Storm Moonlight combined.
"But wouldn't the Knights of the Blue Order be more suitable for this task, m'lady?" Ripley still asked and for the first ti, she finally wasn't able to hold back and took one of the small cakes on the table and ate it.
'It looked appetizing but its taste wasn't up to par. What a disappointnt,' she complained inside.
Lady Alia didn't mind the actions of the Knight before her and instead focused her attention to her question, "Indeed, but due the recent expedition, so of the knights are still recuperating, while the rest had already been deployed to another area. Your friend, is she…is she as capable as you?"
Raising an eyebrow, Ripley blurted, "Storm Moonlight? Yes, though I'm still better though"
"So her na is Storm Moonlight huh? I heard that she's good looking, you wouldn't mind if I t her right?"
"I-"
"Soone go and escort Storm Moonlight to my courtyard!"
"Right away, my lady!"
'Still as willful as ever huh? This is also one of the reason why I rarely co back to this town'
Ripley couldn't even put in a word and could only watch as one of the maids ran out of the garden and headed towards the reception area where Storm Moonlight was waiting for her.
"..."
After that, there was only a suffocating silence on the pavilion and it was only broken when Storm Moonlight had finally arrived.
This ti around, she had taken off her cloak and finally revealed what was underneath it.
She was wearing a double layered combination of red and white cloth especially from the waist down. Across the torso, the armor was made up of stylized tal plates.
The upper right armguard extended higher than the shoulder, though the left one was set lower to make room for a red cape that draped over and around her left arm and shoulder, and in addition the matching bracers of the armor were worn in conjunction with leather gloves on each of her hands.
'That's…that's my first ti seeing that armor. Was she hiding it all this ti? Sneaky b*tch'
Ripley was imdiately envious when her eyes laid upon her friend's armor. It looks sleek and makes its wearer look noble in it.
"Oh my, how dashing~!"
'Uggh!'
Lady Alia imdiately fell in love and Ripley can only groan inside looking at the scene before her eyes.
'This woman is really weird!'
