"What's so special about this gun that you look like you have just seen a ghost?"
Monk moved over towards the display case and started to slowly circle around the display case to see what was so special about it.
Then his eyes widened in surprise and seeing his reaction, Genesis couldn't help but let out a chuckle.
"Now, do you understand why I acted like that?"
Monk looked at him and nodded with a dumb look on his face, then he turned his attention to Benny and shot him a barrage of questions, "This thing is already at the sa level as an ancient artifact. Is this revolver really his? Wait, are you seriously just storing it here?! What if your clients that you transact with here and see this?!"
Benny just shrugs his shoulders, "It's really his, It was passed onto by one of those people who besieged the City Hunter that day, and no, except for you two, I've never allowed others to co here. So, you don't need to worry about getting into trouble because of it"
"I'm not worried about you, I'm worried about it getting stolen after they kill you!" Monk answered with a snort.
Benny just lightly shook his head and said, "Enough about the gun, let's go back to what you two ca here for"
"Now hold on" Genesis remarked with a hand gestured for him to stop in his tracks.
"What do you want? I'm telling you right now, that gun is not for sale"
Benny already had a guess of what he wanted to say and imdiately stated his opinion on the matter.
"Alright"
"On top of the favor for today, I'll add another. Do we have a deal?"
Genesis didn't insist, but Monk on the other hand didn't want to give up and threw Benny an offer.
His offer certainly raised so eyebrows, Benny replied, "Five then we can have a deal"
"Three! Three, that's how far I can go!"
Monk counter offered while showing three fingers like he was making a statent while Genesis just looked on with an amused look on his face as he can't believe that there are actually people bargaining about favors now.
Benny pondered for a mont, his eyes landing on Genesis who looks like he'd just had enough of them before turning his attention back to Monk who is looking at him with a fiery gaze.
Thinking about his chaotic personality as opposed to his na, he suddenly had the feeling that this deal seed unreliable.
But then he rembered the man's reputation and his achievents when he was still active in the underworld.
"Alright, three it is then. On top of today's favor, you now owe four. Don't you forget that" Benny agreed, his tone tinged with a hint of warning.
"I won't, just send a letter, an email or whatever forms of contact you're comfortable with to contact and I'll be there"
Finally hearing what he wanted to hear, Monk couldn't help but let out a huge smirk feeling like he won a huge bargain.
'This fool, exchanging three favors for just a dead guy's gun' Genesis won't deny that he does admire the late City Hunter, but that doesn't an he'd be dumb enough to exchange favors for it since favors are things that money can't even buy.
Only soone like Monk would do it, since people like him don't really care what peril they would get into as long as they can get sothing they want, though they would probably complain while at it.
Clap! Clap!
"Alright~! Now that we got that out of the way, let's go back to what we were talking about earlier" Genesis clapped twice to get their attention back to him.
"You can take anything you want as long as you can carry it. If you break any of them, then you pay for it"
In a good mood, Benny allowed the two n free rein to his toys. Happy that he managed to exchange three favors just for giving away soone's dead belongings.
"Tsk, that's nice of you" Genesis clicked his tongue and imdiately walked over towards the items he had taken an interest in earlier.
'Those two bastards are probably talking sh*t about in their minds right now. Such foolish people won't know the joy of collecting things they love, especially when they encounter an extrely rare item that people won't even see in their lifeti!'
Monk also did the sa while thinking about his recent actions.
'Right, I rember that Michael had told that he had a way of getting one of Zero's precious toys before. I should have a talk with him when all of these things are done. I just hope that he won't suggest absurd things in exchange for it'
Monts later, the two n were almost done doing their "shopping"
"Is this everything you want?" Benny asked, his face twitching while looking at the items laid down on the table before them.
"Yeah, 500 rifle rounds, 100 pistol rounds, 10 rounds for the grenade launcher, then one M4 carbine, an AK-74 and the Dragunov rifle. Ohh, let's not forget the two pairs of night goggles and two combat knives.
I think that's all, are we missing anything Monk?" Genesis listed the toys they were planning on taking with them, all the while pointing at the specified toys like they were out grocery shopping, and that nonchalant look on his face made Benny even more annoyed.
"Are you two actually going to war? Why are you bringing so many bullet rounds with you? Aren't you two here to assassinate soone?" Benny asked in annoyance since the two friends had almost emptied his stock of bullets.
"We are indeed going to assassinate soone, but who said about going at it silently?" Monk replied and had already started packing them up inside a duffel bag he had found lying sowhere in the room.
"The police and the army would be hot on your as* if you do that"
"Not if they are have more pressing matters than us"
"What do you an by that?"
"You'll see in a few days"
