Chapter 65: Chapter 18 Freyja Golden Autumn, Wood Elf Ranger

Chapter 65: Chapter 18 Freyja Golden Autumn, Wood Elf Ranger

Watching the tensely snarling Floral Blue Leopard in front of him, Char’s expression was both shocked and delighted.

Although the Floral Blue Leopard in front of him was not small, big enough for a person to ride, its slightly immature face indicated that it was not yet mature.

Just as the system had displayed, this was a Subadult Floral Blue Leopard.

At the sa ti, several thoughts surged through Char’s mind, but he did not show them and calmly shifted his gaze, moving it to the bushes behind the Floral Blue Leopard.

There, a figure could be barely seen lying down.

The figure was wearing a beautiful but damaged full-body leather armor, with vital parts patched with scales from an unknown Demon Beast.

A longbow laid by their side along with a few scattered arrow feathers, and a part of a long sword protruded from beneath them.

From the bushes, a faint scent of blood wafted through, which even carried a hint of the fresh sll of plants and trees.

Char understood in his heart.

Although he could not see clearly, whether it was the scent of blood mixed with the sll of plants and trees, the system’s introduction of the Floral Blue Leopard, or the style of the leather armor, longbow, long sword, and arrow feathers, all led Char to a very clear guess about the identity of the injured person in the bushes.

Elf!

In an instant, Char felt almost elated, feeling as if things were going his way.

Just what he was thinking about!

He had just been headache about not understanding Elf Language, and then he stumbled upon an injured Elf.

At this mont, he even wondered if there really was a system god behind him, arranging both challenges and opportunities for him, ensuring the experience of him as a player?

“Betty, Auson, can you get the Floral Blue Leopard in front of us to let down its guard?”

Char suppressed the joy in his heart and said to the two fairies.

Since fairies and elves get along well and the Floral Blue Leopard in front of them was an elf’s mount, its attitude toward fairies should also be friendly. Sending Betty and Auson as diplomats was much more suitable than going himself.

Betty too saw the elf lying in the bushes and was sowhat anxious, fearing that the injured one might be an elf from their Green Rose Village. But looking at the very cautious Floral Blue Leopard in front of them, she hesitated to approach.

Lady Tangling silently moved closer to Betty, seemingly telling her: It’s okay, I’m here.

Betty felt much more confident, and so she gathered her courage to speak.

“Mr. Leopard, we are not bad guys, can you not be so fierce?”

“Yes, yes!”

Auson nodded by her side, indicating agreent.

“Are you and your companion injured? Do you need our help checking? Lady Tangling can heal, Mr. Char has many magical potions, and there’s the Lotus Leaf Frog, its nurtured spring water can also heal. I was injured just like you before, and it was Mr. Char who helped .”

As Betty spoke, she tried to move closer, but this action clearly provoked the Floral Blue Leopard.

Like a bolt from the blue, the Floral Blue Leopard suddenly let out a thunderous roar, spewing cyan flas from its mouth toward Betty and Auson, startling them both.

Betty scread, instinctively shrinking back, almost bursting into tears.

The look in Lady Tangling’s eyes turned icy, her hand’s erald light flashed, positioning the Erald Light Blade in front of Betty, as if ready to strike the next second.

Lantern Firefly’s expression was still stern, but the light in her hand had clearly grown larger, ready to burst forth.

Even the usually good-natured, hospitable Star Worm let out an angry chirp as if questioning the other party.

And Auson appeared quite puffed up, with virtual mushrooms condensing before him, seemingly ready to launch a “Mushroom Explosion.”

Char was also a bit angry, thinking since the other party refused the toast only to drink a forfeit, letting Lady Tangling teach this leopard a lesson might be good.

After all, physics is the ultimate principle.

However, after the Floral Blue Leopard let out that roar, its face showed extre pain, and then its body began to convulse violently. It did not last even a few seconds before it fell down.

Surprise appeared on Char’s face, yet a hint of understanding flashed through his mind.

No wonder the Floral Blue Leopard, despite having healing abilities, did not use them. It turned out it was at the end of its strength and no longer capable of even activating “Green Vine Grass” once.

“Lady Tangling, keep an eye on the Floral Blue Leopard.”

Char did not imdiately ask Lady Tangling to treat the leopard but instead bypassed it and walked toward the bushes ahead.

Seeing this, the Floral Blue Leopard struggled again to let out a threatening roar, but it could not stop Char’s steps.

As he drew closer, Char finally saw the appearance of the person hidden in the bushes by the Floral Blue Leopard.

It was indeed an elf.

[Freyja Golden Autumn (Severely Injured)]

[Race]: Wood Elf

[Level]: 5

[Profession]: Forest Patrol Ranger (Elite·Advancing)

[Skills]: Forest Patrol Archery lv3, Natural Companion lv3, Trap Making lv2…

[Introduction]: An outstanding Wood Elf Ranger, with the rare Floral Blue Leopard as her natural companion, which made her respected within her tribe, but that was about it—on the continental scale, she was just an ordinary Wood Elf Ranger. However, she seed to be in the midst of a professional advancent, which could possibly lead her to greater strength—if she could survive…

Char’s gaze briefly swept over the elf nad “Freyja,” from her valiant yet lovely face, deep green hair, expression of pain, to the massive wound on her abdon.

“Betty, do you know her?”

Char did not imdiately treat the elf but turned to look at Betty and asked.

According to Betty, Green Rose Village was not far from here.

Given the injured elf’s presence here, it was likely she ca from Green Rose Village.

Of course, it was also possible she did not.

Since Betty did not recognize the Floral Blue Leopard, it indicated that no elf ranger from Green Rose Village had managed to ta the beast.

Betty had already flown into the bushes, buzzing around the elf’s face, carefully examining her.

After confirming the woman was not soone she knew, she quietly breathed a sigh of relief.

But then, worried tension gripped Betty again, even though the woman was not soone familiar, she was still an elf.

As a Flower Fairy who spent years in the company of elves, Betty naturally felt a good deal of fondness and kinship for all elves of the world—except for Dark Elves.

Seeing an elf in critical condition, how could she not be worried?

“I don’t know her, Mr. Char. But could you please help her? Her injuries are so severe.”

Char’s gaze lingered again on the panels of the elf and the Floral Blue Leopard, especially on the line indicating their levels, before finally giving an order.

“Lady Tangling, give her so treatnt. Betty, after Lady Tangling has cast ‘Clover’s Sumr,’ go ahead and perform ‘aromatic healing’ on the elf.”

“Okay!”

Betty readily agreed.
