“Now, I believe why Liu Muxiao desperately tried to defend your honor. It was certainly my wrong,” She finished in a strained, awkward tone.

Listening to her speak, Allen couldn’t help but show a grin on his face, his eyes shining and anyone could see a devilish twinkle reflected on them.

“It's fine, I always knew about your stubbornness and straightforward personality, that I had already braced myself for any impact that might co in my way.”

“Wha-!?”

He nudged her chin up until their eyes t. Sothing intense flared in his gaze. “Let it be like this, and I appreciate it if you stay just the way you are.”

“I had always like that about you~”

When Allen’s hand touched her chin, all the muscles in her body imdiately tensed up. She was so shocked that she couldn’t even think anymore.

His hand left her chin as he steps back before she could react. Keeping a ter distance between them.

“Indeed, the Gods have done so tasteful things for to have another chance to et you like this. But for now, this is good enough.”

Xue Ling stilled, indescribable feelings filling her.

Allen’s mantle suddenly swayed and burned up.

This caused the surroundings alarm but before they do anything, the burned mantle slowly took shape, turning into a pair of dark blue wings. Flas burning and anyone who saw it has a preconception of being hot.

“A magical item?!”

“So that’s where the wings ca from!”

Many people were surprised and amazed by the scene. It was truly an amazing item.

“But I haven’t seen anything which powers resembling that artifact!” One old man muttered.

Naturally, they have seen magical items before and even owned so of them. But a flying artifact? This was the first ti they had seen it.

“Are items from the outside world… that magical?”

At this mont, they suddenly made a wrong impression, causing them to feel an intense longing for the outside world.

Although indeed, magical items are powerful, as for Allen’s mantle, it was not an ordinary magical item. It was originally a beast, and not just an ordinary beast but a mythical beast.

[ Luan Eagle ].

It’s not a pure Luan Bird but its ancestors, both Luan Bird and Three-legged Eagle were both rare and mystical monsters.

Allen’s pair of wings flapped and he slowly ascended into the sky. Li ihua, who was still dejected from creating a mistake imdiately rushed over and et Allen mid-air.

Allen was going to fly away when he suddenly changed his mind.

There was one more thing he wanted to say.

“You usually have a lot of things that you don’t want said, don’t you?” Allen said, lifting his eyes and smiled at Xue Ling lovingly.

“You always make decisions really crisply, never giving anyone any trouble. I find that amazing and admirable, however, Xue Ling,” Allen continued in the sa gentle tone.

“People around you aren’t psychics. They can’t read your minds and can’t understand what you wanted to say and do. Learn to speak up for yourself, don’t be a child and endure it within yourself. Learn to live life as you desire, with that, you will certainly reach the happiness you longed for.”

Xue Ling was stumped for a mont. It’s not like she didn’t understand what Allen was saying, in fact, she understands it better than anyone else. But how?

How did he understand herself? Who is he?

“Ye Wushuang!” Xue Ling called out but she stopped. There are too many things she wanted to ask but all of them were stuck in her throat.

Where will she start?

Liu Muxiao’s figure flashed inside her mind.

He was Liu Muxiao’s lover!

This thought made everything inside her mind vanished.

She gritted her teeth and for so unknown reason, she felt pain inside of her. Pain that she never felt up until now.

No!

Xue Ling shook her head.

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

“I loved you… I really did…”

A gentle smile.

Powerful words.

What do you an by those words? Xue Ling raised her head and looked up at Allen and was at a loss for words.

His sharp glance and confident, gentle smile kept her from saying anything back.

She suddenly felt afraid of the answer. She gulped and took a deep breath.

“How dare you?!” She pretended to be angry, “Don’t talk to as if I were a child! I simply won’t put up with it!”

Until she pacifies this budding curiosity and learned everything she wanted to know, she can’t face him yet. She can’t face these feelings inside of her.

Allen raised his eyebrows and sohow Xue Ling knew, although his gentle expression didn’t change, that he was pleased with her reaction.

“The fact is that you are a child,” Allen said. “An annoying, bad tempered, stubborn, hard-headed disobedient child.”

Xue Ling frowned. Is he mocking her?

“You like to keep everything to yourself. Your sense of justice is so strong that it’s almost to the point of creating trouble wherever you go. Like a child who is liable to get herself into all sorts of silly predicants if she doesn’t take care. Even I had a difficult ti keeping up with you…”

“Why you---!”

“… But never fear, you’re still one of the greatest won I’ve ever t.”

“Ye Wushuang…”

Xue Ling’s eyes widened as she couldn’t say anything.

When faced with Allen’s deep and calm but intense expression of love, the one word she could only speak was Allen’s na.

She felt her heart tense slightly as she felt a lump in her throat.

After finish speaking, Allen finally turned around and flew away. He was rather in a good mood.

And just at this ti, Allen suddenly felt sothing was not right, his wild beast kind of intuition let him instinctively feel that soone was watching him, although there was not even a bit of unusual fluctuation in the air.

However, Allen was the type to never second-guess his instinct.

And this feeling…

Allen imdiately stops his flight. He started surveying the area, activating his sonar at its maximum.

“Master, what is it?” Li ihua worriedly.

Xue Ling and the others also noticed Allen’s strange actions. And they looked at him doubtfully.

Allen didn’t answer and instead continued to look around.

Then instinctively, he beca aware that he was being observed from sowhere and turning his head swiftly, he saw an ordinary and simple looking black cat, standing at one of the roofs. It was looking at him.

For an instant, their eyes t and Allen felt a sothing weighing him down.

Then,

“Isn’t it bad manners to observe soone without permission…?”

Allen said. His voice wary…

This presence… it can’t be…

Everyone followed Allen’s gaze.

Clearly just a re cat, but its stately and dignified posture gave a great presence of solemnity.

Just the sight of it was enough to make one feel like cheering out in admiration. What could this feline be?

"I didn't expect to be caught.” The black cat stood up and started walking towards the edge of the roof.

When the voice appeared, Xue Ling and the others couldn’t’ believe and looked at the black cat in shock.

What the heck is that?

The black cat slowly walked and suddenly black shadows slowly engulfed its form. Slowly, the small figure beca bigger and larger…

And in a blink of an eye, when the black figure arrived at the edge, a bit nearer to Allen’s location, it beca a life sized silhouette.

Li ihua was startled and she imdiately rushed beside Allen, completely staying on guard. Fox fires appeared on top of her.

Following after, a bronze book appeared in front of Allen and two golden light ca out from it. The Lightning Qilin and the White Dragon Snake materialize and imdiately surrounded Allen, over protectively.

“Qin? Baishe?”

“Master! Run!” The Lightning Qilin anxiously cried out.

“Master!” Madam White coiled itself around Allen, her voice as anxious as the Qilin.

"What is it, Qin, Baishe!?"

The two monsters were shaking incessantly from fear, and Allen realized that the situation is certainly far from good!

"M-Master. The one over there... The one there is --"

Not letting him continue, everyone at the scene heard the cheerful voice of a young girl.

"Oh, looks like the Qilin knows of , I see, as expected of the descendant of the divine beasts. For you to be able to discern my true nature, I comnd your vision."

The dark shadows enveloping the silhouette gradually faded.

In the next instant, the tiny feline transford into a beautiful girl as she jumped and landed onto a golden colored cloud that had suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

She was wearing a yellow costu decorated with intricate black and blue embroidery.

Its sleeves reached down to the ankles, two very long open slits were on the sides of the outfit, and brown pants were worn underneath.

She flew towards Allen.

“You’re!” Allen finally knows who the girl was.

If he still could not realize it then, he would be an idiot.

Wearing a golden headband on her head while her face obscured by a mask akin to a monkey's visage and riding on a golden cloud.

With beautiful face but eyes with strange colors. The eyeballs were red but the pupils were gold in color — naly, eyeballs of red and pupils of gold, ‘golden-gaze fiery-eyes’…

“… China’s monster King! The rascal deity, Victorious Fighting Buddha; Sun Wukong?!”

“Indeed I am.” Sun Wukong smile as she did a small curtsy while standing in the little golden cloud.

But the Lightning Qilin besides Allen is filled with anxiety.

"Master, if you were to challenge her in your current ability, I believe it would be an unwise decision."

"Yes, even though it might be a bit shaful but we would do well to retreat for now." Madam White said with anxiety.

Although she doesn’t know Sun Wukong or she had seen or even t a monster king before but she could still feel how terrifying the girl before her was.

The power Sun Wukong displayed far surpassed every creature she had encountered so far.

From his side, the Lightning QIlin gave a warning and Madam White also made a suggestion to Allen.

Allen was conflicted but after hearing their words, Allen had decided to run away. He hadn’t t Sun Wukong before but he had heard her legends.

Countless stories depicting her power.

One of the strongest monster kings who is said to be immortal and eternal. The Victorious Fighting Buddha who knows no defeat.

“Calm down, Human King, a peer of mine. I ant no harm…” Sun Wukong smiled mysteriously.

But before Allen could react, a golden pierced through him from the back.

“… but I just want to confirm sothing…”

“““Master!!””” The three tad beasts, Li ihua, Lightning Qilin and Madam White screams in fear as soon as they saw the golden staff piercing through Allen’s body.

The people watching them from the roof of the buildings were also dumbstruck as what had happened was just too fast! They couldn’t believe it as their eyes widened in shock.

“You!!” Madam White’s eyes turned bloodshot and crazy as it rushed towards Sun Wukong.

Even the Lightning Qilin’s body lit up and the electricity sparks beco even more intense as it imdiately positioned itself in front of Allen.

“Wait.”

But Allen’s voice rang out and stopped them from attacking.

“Is this your own way of greeting… I never expected it to be so tasteless.”

Sun Wukong smiled at Allen’s words and her eyes almost turned crescent. “As expected of my kin, sothing like this won’t deter you…”

“Did you co here to kill ? Ey, Sun Wukong?”
